Great house with good amenities. Nice hot tub and pool with waterfall feature. Great sized yard for the dogs. Responsive host when questions. Second stay for us, as we enjoyed it so much the first stay. Definitely recommend.

Our stay was great! The kitchen had a good deal of extras and the house was very clean. The sheets were very soft and we enjoyed our stay.

Host was so nice letting us come in an hour early. House needs a refresh, like new towels beach chairs and such. Nice location. Very quiet and private.

Private little oasis

Very clean and spacious. Everything you need is there! Favorite part is the back yard little oasis with waterfall pond that you can cool off in! Mind you it is a pond not a swimming pool so it is natural but that’s what we loved about it! Trees, cactus and flowers all around it with stepping stones and sandy area that gives it a beachy vibe. Hot tub was amazing too even in July as the heat was off but stayed at a refreshing 90 degrees for an evening relax. Above all we really like the quiet neighborhood and privacy.

Returned

We stayed here last year as a family of five with our Rottweiler and we returned this year. Our doggie loves the yard, the kids love the pool and hubby and I loved hearing the birds while drinking coffee in the lanai. We went to Boca Grande beach and got to swim with the manatees!

So different from the pictures

The owner of this house needs to remodel everything, towels, furniture, bed cloths and more things. The yard needs illuminations because the only lights coming from the lake and definitely need to cut more vegetation, is a lot.The owner of this house needs to remodel everything, including towels, furniture, bedclothes, and more. The yard also needs lighting because the only lights coming from the lake are insufficient. Additionally, there’s a lot of vegetation that needs to be cut.
I discovered this when we arrived. I paid $120 for cleaning fees, and you can see the results.

A small slice of paradise

The home is clean and orderly and the waterfall and pool were simply beautiful. A nice dip in the hot tub to wrap up the day and it was a wonderful break from reality

Weekend Beach Getaway

Beautiful space but

Absolutely beautiful space, the location was easily accessible, the house was clean, open, and comfortable. Hot tub was fabulous. The only things that really bothered me were:1- There were only two coffee mugs, my best friend (who lived a few mins away from the place) had to bring her own coffee mug so we could all have coffee together.2- There were no spices except salt and pepper. We were asked to start laundry, no problem, but there was no detergent. 3- While the waterfall scenery was beautiful, we were unable to safely use the pool, as there was algae covering majority of it with frog eggs all along it. (Benches, steps, bottom, all covered in algae and eggs), it was gross to be honest. Thank goodness for the hot tub, as that was the only thing we could use. We picked this place specifically because it listed the pool and hot tub, and unfortunately couldn’t use the pool. Despite everything, we would definitely stay here again.

Zen backyard

We enjoyed this property very much. Close to shopping and historic Punta Gorda. The back yard is a Zen garden with the waterfall feature and hot tub. Lots of privacy and our dog loved the scenery and the sniffing. Would have been nice if there were more TV's in the bedrooms. We had to move our vehicles out of the driveway so the owner could get his car out of the garage and our dog barked and woke up the kids. Other than that a great stay and the property was clean.

Nice, convenient location.

Convenient location to restaurants and stores. Backyard waterfall and hot tub were relaxing. Nice stock of towels, spices and hand/dish/laundry soap. Not a fan of the sand in the backyard. Was impossible not to track it inside. Will keep this rental on our list for future stays.
