Relax and enjoy spectacular ocean views and sunsets from this newly remodeled 1 bedroom and 1 bath ocean front condo on the most desirable 3rd (top) floor, with high ceilings and abundant natural light, on the Monterey Bay; located between Santa Cruz and Monterey, California Central Coast. The beach is famous for beautiful and picture perfect sunsets. View dolphins, whales, sea otters, sea lions and ships/boats passing by from the living room or deck or beach. Steps away to get down to the sand/beach. On warm days, open the windows and patio doors for fresh cool ocean air and ocean sounds and have a wonderful sleep in the night. No noise from above unlike 2nd and 1st floors condos. Enjoy morning sun with coffee and a glass of wine in the evening while watching sunset. Fully furnished, including linens. Departure cleaning only. Remodeled and newly listed in July 2022 with all brand new leather furniture, Cal King bed, flooring, carpet, brand new appliances, and plenty of can lighting and ceiling fans. Washer/dryer included. The condo rental is limited to 2 adult guests. Located in a security gated community with plenty of parking. Golf at world renowned courses 40 minutes to the South, shop at nearby Santa Cruz, Capitola, Monterey, Carmel, or drive about an hour north to San Francisco for the day. This is one of the best Pajaro Dunes rentals overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean and Sunset State Beach. Absolutely no pets and no children. This is a non smoking condo including balcony areas. Secure high speed wifi. (TOT# VR00009)

This was one of our best short-term rental stays. The host was responsive, the instructions were clear, everything was there and in good condition (no yard sale refugees), and the unit was super clean. Oh, and the beach and view are great. We don't usually go to a place more than once. For this place I'll make an exception.

Love staying here! The view is amazing with direct access to the beach just a few steps away. Kitchen had everything we needed. Living room was very comfortable.

While I was laying in bed, I observed multiple small almost microscopic bug crawling all over the front of my phone while using it. I awoke with bug bites on my leg earlier that same day

Took my wife here for her birthday. We had a fabulous stay for 3 nights. The location was very peaceful and quiet. This unit was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals. The bed was very cozy and warm and the bathroom very clean as well. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a quiet 2 person stay. We will be looking to return again we loved it so much.

Wonderful stay at this beach front property. Owner very responsive and quickly responded to my questions. Very detailed instructions for appliances and even light switches labeled. Easy to check in, property clean and we didn’t want to leave! This third floor location was amazing with high ceilings. Hope to be back again soon!Bring your beach towels, low beach chairs, Brita/water filter pitcher, Kleenex box, dryer fabric sheets and ziploc bags. (Owner does have two of those foldable stick outdoor chairs in bags that are a higher/standard chair height, if you like.)

The other reviews are 100% accurate. Very clean and spotless. It had everything we needed for a weekend away. There was a review about the duvet being dirty but that wasn’t our experience. It was also clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!

Easy Beach getaway

Enjoyed a weekend away at Pajaro Dunes. A beach resort tucked away on the coast. Quiet, beautiful beach, foggy and cool (typical weather for June) and a nice break from inland heat.

This property was exactly as advertised. Maybe not super easy to get too, but the owner's instructions were very detailed and we had no problem's finding it. It is a third floor location with 15 exterior steps, but this was well explained ahead of time so no surprises. Beach access is very close, and it was a nice, uncrowded stretch of sand on the Bay. The town of Watsonville is quite close, and access to Hwy 1 is very simple, if you're heading to either Santa Cruz or Monterey/Big Sur. The only glitch was an unexpected plumbing issue that we found in progress upon arrival, but the owner was very up front and reactive to the issue, and it didn't overly impact or put a damper on our time there. These things happen!

Comfy with great view

We had a great stay overall—beautiful view and the place was very clean. However, I was disappointed to find that the duvet and pillows didn’t seem to have been cleaned--ever. The duvet, in particular, was extremely dirty, which was a letdown after seeing how spotless the rest of the home was. Thankfully, I found clean blankets in the closet and used those instead. I’d strongly recommend the owner either replace the comforter with a washable one or ensure it’s laundered between guests. It’s a small change that would make a big difference.

Very good view from a well furnished and updated condo. Foggy nearly the entire stay, but had a very good time. Would stay in this unit again. FYI. Owner might want to check out a new kitchen sink faucet which is stuck on spray mode only.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Quiet getaway, feels like a private beach! We love being on the top (3rd) floor, very quiet with nice ocean view and abundant natural light, especially with high ceiling in the living room. In the night, we open the windows and doors for fresh air and ocean sounds and sleep. Until recent past we owned a beautiful unit on the 2nd floor with a super view for 10 years in the same complex but sometimes we felt claustrophobic because of minimum natural light and less privacy. So, we sold our 2nd floor unit, got a 3rd floor condo, remodeled and put to use. We really enjoy everything including sitting on the sofas and watching wave after wave with coffee cup or a glass of wine.

Beautiful view from living area of the condo including bedroom. Enjoy sunset sitting on the sofa or deck. Very fresh ocean breeze. Enjoy the top spacious condo on the top floor with quiet time.
