Imagine your vacation starting with a lush garden and waterfall as soon as you drive up to the gate. Colorful buildings, pristine landscaping, and tropical palm trees will tantalize the senses next. You’ve arrived at our little taste of the Caribbean here in Davenport, Florida! Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom piece of paradise is located in Building 1. A short walk to all of the amenities (including clubhouse, 4 pools, splash pad, restaurant/bar, sports courts, gym, sandy beach, and nature trail), our home away from home is in a perfect location! Whether you are coming down for the theme parks, or just some relaxation, everything you could dream of is within a short drive (shopping, restaurants, golf, a plethora of attractions). Feel like staying in? We have a full kitchen, too! Cook up your favorite meals and enjoy them on our oversized balcony! Come and see why Orlando is the vacation capital of the world!

Pleasant stay

The property was as described and was very convenient for our stay. Relatively close to most of Orlandos attractions. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils which was very nice. Overall it was a nice property to stay at and we would recommend it to our family and friends. Our host was very helful with answering all of our questions in a timely manner.

Wonderful

Bahama Bay never disappoints! We have stayed in dozens of condos over the years, and this was one of our favorites! We loved the large back porch and the nice coastal decorations! Great communication with the host as well! Highly recommend staying here and we won’t hesitate to book again here next year!

Excellent Property

We love Bahama Bay! This unit was exceptional!! Comfortable beds, well decorated, all things needed in the kitchen, large patio and a few supplies provided that were helpful. Building 1, 2nd floor and end unit so you get some extra side windows. Heard more street noise that prior units but not horrible. We used both the club house pool and the pool closest to our unit. Would for sure stay in this unit again.

Perfect spot for a relaxing, quiet family getaway!

We fell in love with the photos and description of this property, and it did not disappoint! Right from the start, we were thoroughly impressed with Edward & Danielle's clear and prompt communication. We enjoyed every moment of our time at this property, including the beautifully decorated space, well equipped kitchen, variety of pools, activities for the kids (play structure, ping pong, cornhole), and walks along the nicely shaded paths. Thank you for a great memory-making experience!

Tropical Retreat

The mature landscaping that surrounds this property immediately put us in relaxation mode. We arrived early and were able to use the amenities while waiting for the room to be ready. The kids loved the splash pad and pools. The unit was larger than I expected and was perfect for our needs. It was tastefully decorated, and included everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a high chair as well! Would definitely stay again!

Unpleasant

While the property was very nice. Check in was terrible and I had to que the desk people to give me my room that I would clean it myself in order to get into the property. My kids found a cockroach in bathroom and property owner nor cleaning staff wanted to take responsibility for bug maintenance. Besides all the pool are nice they are heated but I will not be staying again .

Hello Cindy, I’m very sorry you were unhappy with your stay. The check in at the resort is unfortunately out of my hands, but I told you that I was going to speak to the team about this. Unfortunately at any resort, when it’s very busy, sometimes you have to wait awhile longer for your room to be ready. I believe you told me it was only half hour extra that you had to wait, so that’s pretty good. I have had to wait longer than that at Disney properties sometimes. Although frustrating, sometimes it’s unavoidable at busy times. Secondly, regarding the cockroach. I really don’t understand what you meant about refusing to take responsibility. When you contacted me about seeing the cockroach, I apologized for the shock and explained that we do have monthly pest maintenance but unfortunately, this is Florida, and in humid climates, you will see one once in awhile but it should be an isolated incident. Obviously this is not the norm as evidenced by all the other glowing reviews my unit has had. I’m sorry for your experience, and am sorry you were not able to enjoy the condo to its full potential, as all my other guests have.

Just what we needed

We were very happy that our condo was so close to one of the pools. The unit was very clean and was exactly what is shown in the photos. Everything that we needed and more was just a short drive. We will be back the next time we’re visiting the Orlando area.

Pleasant stay and met expectations

We stayed at Ed & Danielle's place while we were on Disney vacation. This place is only 15-20 mins from the parks and that was a huge plus. The checking process was very smooth and the owners were very responsive The checking process at the concierge took only couple of mins and property management was friendly. All amenities were exactly as advertised and we all just loved our stay I was traveling with my family comprising of 4 adults and 2 kids and the house was spacious enough to accommodate all of us. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area -RKG

Great place to stay

Our whole stay was amazing. The place was a lot bigger than I expected it to be which was a huge perk. The condo included all the essentials we needed. The property overall was really nice. We explored 3 out of the 4 pools and all were great. The splash pad was fun for our 2 year old. The sandy beach area was a nice way to wind down the day after a long day at the pools. It's located close to everything so when we did need to run and grab something, we weren't gone long. It was a perfect weekend getaway and would definitely look into some dates to come back.

The rooms/spaces are excellent. The unit location is superb. The smaller local pool is great. Very secure facility. Lovely walking trail. Landscaping is top-notch. Fantastic groceries 3 minutes away. It's a real home away from home. Many thanks to Ed and Danielle, the hosts.
