Need a little River Therapy? Doc Tom's is the place to be! This property is a 3BR/2BA house on the Carrabelle River, equipped with a dock, fish cleaning station, and running water, it is perfect for the everyday fisherman! This home sleeps 4-6 comfortably. The master bedroom is downstairs and has a king size bed with adjoining bathroom, the second and third bedrooms are located upstairs. One has a queen size bed, while the other room has a bunk bed with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin size bed on top. The queen bedroom has French doors that open up to the up stairs balcony, where you will have beautiful views of the Carrabelle River!

This property has a 2 night minimum.

*While this home is pet friendly there is a 2 limit max on pets. Pet fee is non-refundable and is $100 per pet*

Places to visit in the surrounding area include: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, the Historic Carrabelle Lighthouse and Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, cycling paths across the road, guided boat tours at Wakulla Springs, Panacea's Gulf Specimen Marine Lab (with touch pools for children), Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, a variety of local seafood eateries and a local supermarket.
Close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course and Resort 370 Acres of Golf Community, Resort Style 18 hole Play golf course designed by Robert Walker. The Famous Crooked River Grill is just 10 minutes away. Fun on the canal

We had a fishing tournament and this location was perfect for us. The house was roomy and comfortable for the few minutes we slept.

Beautiful setting

We had a great time on our trip! House was very comfortable and great time fishing! The pier was very unstable and really needs to be rebuilt.. never received any information on check in process and had to really dig to get in touch with property manager to access front door code. Besides that had a wonderful time!

Memorial Day weekend getaway

Great location adjacent to River and near Carrabelle Boat Club which we use so very convenient. Quiet neighborhood which was nice. Next door neighbor appears to be a little eccentric with a dozen cameras pointed at the house....perhaps some prior issues for him with renters....but no issues for us...just be aware if you stay here. :)

Great fishing

The house was great! With the dock at the river we were able to accommodate two boats. The AC was nice and cold, bed were very comfy. Would definitely recommend to others.

Wouldn’t rent again for this price

The house was decent. Definitely overpriced for the quality of the home. The neighbors house is very sketch and rundown and their dog barked all night, therefore, kept us up all night. For the price of this house, I wouldn’t expect to have neighbors like this. I do appreciate they didn’t mess with us and we never heard them and rental owners have put up a privacy fence, but it’s still not something you want to pull up to your house and see. Checkin and checkout times sucked and gave little amount of time at the house, especially for the price. Overall would not rent again simply for the price knowing I can find something much nicer in the area for the same price. Would consider this place again if the price was cheaper on this specific house.

Nice spot to rent for a fishing/boating weekend. Had a nice time. The neighbor is a little crotchety. Didn’t let him bother us though.

All in all it was a good stay neat little affordable place on the river it was quiet and offered a beautiful view of sunrise from balcony. only complaint was unkept place next door shower heads needed changing and coffee pot needs to be changed.
