Your `Lakeside Haven` awaits! This condo is outfitted with every comfort and amenity for our guests` ultimate enjoyment and relaxation. This resort-style island offers a peaceful getaway and a carefree lake life experience! The condo is fully stocked with every comfort and kitchen utensil you could possibly need. The resort amenities will make you never want to leave! There are two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, and hot tubs. (Note: The indoor pool and hot tub are currently closed for repairs.) This is the perfect lakeside getaway!

Surprising amenities- KitchenAid mixer, Keurig, drip coffee maker, Smart TVs, plush towels, board games, & every kitchen utensil to spoil a chef! Very comfortably sleeps 6, per fire code. Super easy elevator access with two designated covered parking spots (plus overflow if needed) for your convenience.

Enjoy a meal at your large private outdoor dining table while watching the local deer graze and peaceful water in the cove. Let your adventurous side out and rent a kayak, boat, or wave runner for the day- they can even deliver to you! Partake in the on-site tennis court, nearby walking/hiking trails or visit a local winery. Wander through the Spanish-style courtyards admiring the various trickling fountains and wildlife among you.

The renowned Lake Travis is a beautiful and FUN lake, but it is not a constant-level lake. If you are looking to bring a boat, we highly suggest checking the lake levels through the LCRA website for Lake Travis (Mansfield). Boat Ramps are open when the level is below 679` msl (mean sea level) and Boat Parking is open when lake levels are below 675` msl.

ILT Main Boat Ramp:
Available only when the lake level is 666’ MSL to 679` MSL.
Ramp closes when water exceeds 679` MSL due to flooding
Ramp closes when water drops below 666` MSL due to accessibility

ILT Low Water Ramp:

* There is an EXTERIOR monitoring camera at the entrance to the condo as well as cameras around the complex. Absolutely NO cameras on any interior areas of the condo whatsoever.

*Property Damage Protection Fee: Our coverage safeguards you against accidental damages, ensuring your relaxation and enjoyment during your stay.

Note: The indoor pool and hot tub and the north pool and hot tub are currently closed for repairs. The south pool and hot tub are open.
Main Rules:
- Don`t get too rowdy, but make sure to enjoy your stay!
- No pets allowed- NO exceptions. The complex is very strict on no pets.
- No smoking in the unit. If you smoke on the balcony, doors must be shut tight. If any smoke smell remains you will be charged $250.
- Remove all trash and wash dishes prior to check out
- Obey all condo complex rules (pool hours, appropriate dress, quiet hours, etc.)

We enjoyed our stay very much!! We all had a fantastic time and was the perfect vibe for our stay. The kitchen amenities were great and loved the labels to help know what’s in the kitchen. FYI: the Viva brand paper towels would last longer and be more cost effective for guests. Just like with anything there is downsides but for us it was the property amenities like the pool water being super low and cold. The hot tub was the reason we stayed there and we didn’t find out it wasn’t running until after we arrived. It wasn’t in the post or even saying it could be a possibility it would be out. One of the beds was uncomfortable (the double bed room; bed on the left felt super worn out.They are small things but didn’t stop us from enjoying the stay! We loved playing pickle ball outside and made lasting memories! The inside was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay! Loved the choices of games too.

We had such a great stay! The condo was not only clean, updated, and spacious, but was also extremely well stocked- from a cork screw to grilling tools, we had everything we needed for a great long weekend. Definitely the best VRBO I’ve stayed in. We’re looking forward to going back!

Best Stocked Rental

This condo was so wonderful. The decor is so comfortable and stylish. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would want or need. Everything was perfectly organized! The Island is beautiful and has great pools and a beautiful view. The lake is quite low which is a little sad but didn’t impact our enjoyment one bit! I would definitely come back!

The condo unit on Lake Travis was great! The layout (2 bedroom, 2 bath) was good and the unit was clean and well stocked. With the storm that rolled through this area the underground parking was much appreciated! The elevator and carts made it easy to transport stuff to the unit. It has a nice balcony but no lake views. The grounds are well maintained and made for terrific walks around the complex! Lots of deer to admire! We would stay here again!

Relaxing Stay

The place was nice, however the walls are paper thin. If staying in the front bedroom, you will hear the elevator and every conversation people are having in the courtyard. I am a light sleeper and was woke up a couple times by people talking. If you are a light sleeper and sleeping in the front room, I suggest noise cancelling headphones

Lakeside Haven Review: A Bittersweet Getaway We recently stayed at a beautiful lake house that had all the charm we hoped for—cozy interiors, peaceful surroundings, and a relaxing vibe perfect for a weekend escape. **However,**, we were disappointed to find out the lake was **closed due to flooding**, which really defeated the purpose of booking a lakeside cabin. Unfortunately, no swimming, kayaking, or lakeside lounging for us. We had to scrap our original plans and put together a brand new itinerary on the fly. Lake Travis water levels and conditions can shift quickly, especially during heavy rains and seasonal changes. While it’s out of our control when the lake becomes temporarily restricted, we know how central it is to the experience and wish it had been open for your stay. Great Location on Lake Travis

My wife and I had work events and needed a place on the north side of Lake Travis for a long weekend with our 1 year old. Would definitely return, pool and garden areas of the condo complex were fantastic with amazing views of Lake Travis. Our unit was perfect for a family or 1-3 kids and even had a pack & play available if needed. Laundry in unit was very helpful. Bonus was the front balcony where a dozen deer would gather each evening to snack on the lawn!…yes, the balcony had 1 & 1/2 steps, unless your eyes were closed, you can’t miss them. Just like all steps, there is a very slight elevation change…(don’t worry about past review)

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE & ATTENTION TO DETAIL!

We have traveled a lot, all over the US and abroad. Of all properties we've ever stayed at this location was by far the best when it comes to attention to detail and customer service. Very responsive if you have any questions, they anticipate all that you will need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. My son even forgot a few things when we checked out and they were quick to let us know and find out how they could return the items to us. I would highly recommend any property of A Stay Above the Rest! It is very hard to find customer service these days....but they knocked it out of the park!

Approach with caution

Upon entering the rental a dirty floor was visible with debris on it. The toilet seat had what looked like urine and fecal stains under it. The king side bed had a visible yellow stain on the white comforter. If you or any of your guests staying here have pet allergies I suggest staying away from this rental. It does indicate no pets on there policy but they clearly have no way of ensuring that is followed. My wife had a strong allergic reaction once lying on the king size bed, shes allergic to dogs.

We would like to educate our guests by stating that this condo is a pet-free condo. However, the complex itself has different owners who may or may not allow animals. We regret to hear about the cleanliness issues you encountered. It is important to note that during your stay, none of these concerns were communicated to us. While we understand you were upset that we upheld our cancellation policy, there was no mention of these issues at the time. We have pictures of the clean before your arrival and did not observe any of the problems you described. Nonetheless, we will take your feedback into consideration as we strive to provide excellent guest service. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention.

Beautiful cozy condo!

The condo was just as advertised.. clean.. very cozy beds and family room with a little gas fireplace for cooler nights which we loved! TVs easy to use! The kitchen had pretty much anything you could need for cooking.. just had to pick up cooking spray. We enjoyed the fitness center and sauna.. there are two pretty out door pools only wish they were heated. I could only dangle my feet but my husband managed to get in. The view near the pools was just beautiful.. there is no view from the condo but they do have a cute little patio to sit out and enjoy your morning coffee. And loved all the deer on the grounds .. actually could feed them from my hands (condo provided a big bag of deer feed 😀.. We did end up doing quite a bit of driving because most restaurants and shopping are a good 30 to 40 minutes away. They do have a few nearby.. We thought the lucky rabbit was fun and good food! Overall great vacation!

Lago Vista Island Condo

This property is not on an island as Lake Travis is at 46% of normal volume. The pictures show a back side balcony view of the water, but there are just homes with docks sitting in the dirt. The condo is quite beautiful with comfy beds and a great TV. Our arrival was rough. The gate code did not work and took a phone call, etc to get through. We had a difficult time locating our parking spot as there seems no rhyme or reason to the the order of parking garage spots. This condo is just steps away from the gym and indoor pool. We loved swimming all week!!!! The balcony for this unit is not lighted. We arrived at night, and while my husband brought the bags, I searched for the lights. When I discovered there were none, I opened the balcony door and steeped out onto the mat but was unable to see the balcony was sunken. With the next step, I crashed to the balcony floor. Bloody elbow and knee, injured hip and badly injured foot. The entire balcony floor and steps are painted mid taupe. I never saw the steps in the dark, and even in daylight they are not standard steps and are all painted taupe. My husband made the same mistake in the daytime, but was agile enough to catch himself. My injuries completely changed our vacation. This happened to both of us in a 15 hr span. I am certain we are not the first. Balcony entrance is very dangerous and should have been changed long befor now.

Thank you so much for your review. We are always looking for feedback and are thankful that you have addressed these items with us. I want to start with your feedback on the gate code. We send access instructions 7 days before your arrival, including information on how to get to the parking space and your gate code. As we had stated before, we were saddened to hear of your accident and explained to you that the light switch to the balcony is on the wall, to the left, by the curtains. We have had this home for quite some time and have not ever had an incident with these steps, but we have been proactive since your stay and purchased grip tape to line our steps with, to make them stand out even more. Lastly, as for the levels of the lake, we do state in our listing that Lake Travis is not a constant-level lake and that we highly suggest checking the lake levels through the LCRA for Lake Travis (Mansfield). Sadly, most of Texas has been under a massive drought this year and that has dramatically affected levels. We do expect the levels to fill back up with the much-needed rain we have been getting and more to come. Comfortable, clean and well-decorated

We stayed here for a weekend and lived the property overall. It was very tastefully decorated and had all the amenities one would need! Our only little gripe was the light outside the guest bedroom window was on all night- not sure if there was a switch to turn it off, but it seemed to be the case throughout the property. The views on the other side are definitely better and the property itself is beautiful, so no complaints overall. Highly recommended.

The Island on Lake Travis is truly like an oasis... everything is so calm and relaxing. With beautiful courtyards, amazing pools and spa-like atmosphere, it is just perfect for a getaway. The tennis courts, hiking trails, bbq pits, and boat dock for people who bring kayaks/canoes are also great if some people want to be a little more active. The boat ramp is subject to lake levels and there are boat docks available for rent through a 3rd party. One of our other favorite things is that almost every time we drive onto the Island there are baby deer with their families grazing in the grass right by the entrance- you immediately feel away from it all!
