This adorable beach villa on the west end of Scenic Highway 30-A is an ideal retreat for those looking for a wonderful lot with fenced back yard and rooms for outdoor BBQ. This home was completely remodeled in 2019 and offers 2 full bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, open living/kitchen/dining, laundry room, screened porch in front and back of home as well as a 2 car garage space. The opportunities are endless for this one but there is nothing that has to be done for you to come and enjoy it just how it is for years to come. Only 1 mile to Gulf Place/Shunk Gulley, Stinky's Fish Camp just one block away and Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club is just one mile too! Minimum Stay 3 night.

Great house close to the beach

We were in town for a wedding. It was my husband, daughter and mother staying here. The location is very close to the beach with an easy walk. It is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Easy check in and out. Would definitely stay here again.

Spring Break Getaway

Great location, close to beach and restaurants. Easy 2 mile walk into town or quick 5 minute drive. Local food is great. House was clean, updated and perfect for what we needed! Please clarify door code instructions.....very confusing and had to call for assistance from both property Mgr and VRBO.

Great Stay!!

Great stay, close enough to walk to the beach, the garage was fully stocked with beach toys, boards, chairs and even a wagon which makes the short walk to the beach much easier. Floors were a bit dirty but we ended up wearing our slippers inside. Bathrooms didn’t vent very well, got condensation on the ceilings, may have issues there. TVs in every room which was nice and lots of places to sleep. Overall, wonderful stay. Wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Pet friendly?

We chose to stay here because we were bringing our dogs to the beach. Unfortunately the pictures online of the backyard look nothing like the actual yard. I never felt comfortable letting my dogs out into the backyard because it was so overgrown and the flowerbeds were completely unkempt. The location of the property was excellent and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately I would never stay here again since the backyard was unusable and also The kitchen was poorly stocked.

Clean and convenient

House was very clean, quiet, and convenient. Feels spacious. Property management very attentive bringing light bulbs. Had more supplies than is typical in a rental. Needs a new couch but I guess renters can be terribly inconsiderate and destructive. Bed Pillows need replacing- I always bring my own. Beds were comfortable. Very nice to have yard for pets and screened porches. Surrounded by nice homes, across the street from beach access. Restaurant Stinky's fish camp nearby was a huge disappointment, daquiris at bar for beach were good. Looks like they do live music several tomes a week but noise does not carry.

Great location. Updated nicely but with minor issues.

The house is very convenient to the public beach access. The beach is 1 block away and has a ramp that makes taking the provided wagon very easy. The house felt clean. The umbrella and boogie boards that are in the garage are all broken and unusable. Stinky's Fish Camp is right by the house and beach access. We ended up going twice due to the location and the food was great. Publix, Wal-Mart, The Donut Hole, Grayton Beach, and San Destin Beach are all within 10-15 minutes from the house. You can tell the house has been updated. It has new vinyl "wood" flooring. The beds are comfortable. The pictures are a little misleading. The back yard is no where as nice as the pictures show. The Back yard was overgrown and we were afraid to sit outside due to the potential of snakes being there. In the Master bath, the ceiling appears to have black mold and the shower door kept falling off the track.

Perfect location

We loved the location. It was a quick walk to the beach and Stinky’s and an easy bike ride to some of our favorite spots along 30A. We travel with our two dogs so the fully fenced yard was amazing.

Great location but things could be improved

Location is perfect. Cleanliness needs attention. Like another review there was someone else’s bathing suit and shampoo in the outside shower. The inside needs to be cleaned better. Communication and check in was easy.

Great Location, not great check-in

The house fit our needs well, the location was great and screened in porches were great for a 2 year old to play during the rain. The house could’ve been cleaner, feet were dirty after a while, a random towel in a room and swim trunks (not ours) left outside. The most frustrating part was the checkin. The instructions were confusing, then when figured out the code was wrong. Not a problem, made a quick phone call, only to get a text response that says “text only”. It took half an hour for someone to respond, less than ideal communication, a phone call should be an option.

Great house near the beach

Perfect house and location for a family of four adults. Five minute walk to the beach. Our dog loved the back yard. Screened porches great for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. Owner very responsive with our requests and questions.

Wonderful stay

We stayed for 6 days in July and had a wonder time. The house is a very short walk to the public beach access and had everything we needed for the beach including a cart, chairs, etc. We will surely be back!

EXCELLENT LOCATION

2 minute walk to the beach . The owner supplied chairs, wagon for the beach - fenced in backyard . Barbecue in the backyard was brand new . House is lovely and perfect for a family . We will come back to vacation at this property.

Awesome House!

The house is fantastic! Very clean and well stocked for what we needed. It was perfect for our dog with the porch and the fenced in backyard. The walk to the beach was very short and the public beach access is right at the end of the street. Check-in was easy and the instructions provided were very clear. We loved the house and have no complaints!

Location, location, location!

If you want to be close to the beach in 30A, this property is it! Super short, 1-block walk to the public access entry to the beautiful beach in Santa Rosa. Open floor plan with lots of space to move around. Loved the very comfortable mattresses and newer furnishings! It was great to have a garage to park the car in and we really enjoyed the beach wagon (and beach chairs) provided by the owner to haul our gear down to the beach. The bike/walking trail is also at the end of the block and the popular restaurant Stinky's fish camp is right around the corner. (we recommend the seafood chowder) We rented bikes for 3 days and the rental companies deliver them to you which is very convenient. The fenced in yard was great for our dog and made the trip that much more enjoyable. The kitchen has all of the necessities including a coffee maker & Keurig machine. The only reason we gave 4 stars for cleanliness is due to some stains/crumbs on the dining room and living room furniture but no concerns overall. The owner is incredibly responsive and easy to reach. We definitely recommend this rental and would stay here again! Great vacation!
