Hi Donna, finally found your review from last summer! We are thrilled you and your daughter celebrated her 50th birthday at the condo. It truly is an amazing place! Currently, we are only able to provide a “ 30 night minimum stay” due to HOA changes. For those who can accommodate it, would be a wonderful “ extended stay”. We hope you will be one of them! Thank you for a great review.

Amazing Condo on Lake Huron

We've stayed in Oscoda for the past several decades and this was one of the nicest places. The condo was absolutely beautiful! It was very comfortable and felt like home away from home. We will definitely be back! Also, our host Tim was great-super accommodating and responsive.

We had the best time staying in this luxurious, beachfront condo. We walked the beach 1 mile in each direction and could have gone further w no docks, etc in the way. Just beautiful. The grounds are well kept and everything you need inside and out is provided.

The Penthouse on lovely Lake Huron totally lived up to our expectations for our one week stay. Our host Tim made the checking process easy. Comfortable two bedroom and two baths are perfect for a couples retreat. Kitchen is very well stocked and there’s a convenient party store right across the highway. We enjoyed the firepit in the evening and the sugar sand beach and lake during the day. Very peaceful compared to most of the flashier cabins south of Oscoda.

Hi One year late Jason! Obviously, Tim and I are now learning this end of the system where we can “ respond to a review” in a “ more timely “ manner. Just want to thank you in 2025 for such a nice review last summer and hope you’ll come back to see us again. Also, the condo is a great getaway retreat during the winter months too! Again, thank you for the review in 2024. Your hosts, Tim and Sandy Reed

My favorite place!

I stay here every year. This year I am staying here twice. It never disappoints. The condo has everything you need, the sunrises are amazing, the beach is raked (so it is perfect), the sandbars are great (and move every year), and the regular residents in other units are friendly. The owner is responsive — even for silly things. It is my happy place.

I was looking for a property that would be in close proximity to family members that live in Oscoda. We found the property very comfortable with upgraded decor. The property faced east, so we were able to enjoy beautiful sunrises over the lake. The views were spectacular.

À propos de l’hôte

Hôte : Tim and Sandy Reed

Image de profil de l’hôte
Sandy grew up locally while Tim is from Howell, MI. We decided to relocate back to this area after living in the Detroit area for many years.

We enjoy this condo so much, it's sometimes a struggle to leave! Ha Ha! Honestly, Tim and I want our guests to experience the "peace of mind" we feel when we're here.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This little beach community is quiet and safe, even during holidays. Growing up in this area, I am very familiar and know this is the best stretch of beach in the area known as the "Gold Coast".
The River Road scenic tour is just minutes away giving you access to Cook Dam, Foote Dam and Lumberman's Monument. Tawas is 20 minutes south and boasts cute little shops, restaurants, coffee houses. The Village Chocolatier is a must try!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Steps away from some of the best beach on the US Hwy 23 Historical Route.
Located on the 3rd level gives you such a sense of privacy while total exposure to the lake side, the condo itself is so comfortable. You may find it difficult to leave the spacious balcony and walk around to the beach.....We sometimes do!
Our kitchen is well stocked with glassware (stemmed too), a built in wine cooler, extensive diner plates, platters, flatware w/ utensils, cutting boards and cookware. The pantry is stocked with spices and baking vessels. Both bathrooms/bedrooms are stocked with linens and extra sheets. Couch pillows are puffy and comfy with a couple fleece throws for napping.
Master bedroom has a desk for those who work remotely. Wifi is consistent and dependable.
