Mermaids Grotto on the Beach

Stay at Mermaids Grotto, a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo directly on the beach, centrally-located to downtown Carpinteria. Mermaids Grotto is a beautifully updated condo, directly on the sand of Carpinteria State Beach. It is one of eight condos in the building and has beautiful mountain view’s. This small but incredible beach town has much to offer, but you’ll be tempted to just stay in and cozy up on the oversized couch and spend your days relaxing on the beach. Enjoy California living at its finest!

THE SPACE:
1ST BEDROOM-This bedroom has a queen sized bed with a dresser and a ceiling fan to keep you cool

2ND BEDROOM-The second bedroom has two full sized beds with an attached bathroom. The bathroom has a travertine standing shower with glass doors, a toilet and a sink. The closet in the bedroom has games, beach toys, and corn hole. This room also has a door that leads to the side alley way.

BATHROOMS-There are two bathrooms, one is attached to the second bedroom with the two beds. And the other is in the hallway next to the 1st bedroom. This bathroom has a travertine tub shower with glass door, a toilet and a sink. The bathrooms have Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash.

LIVING ROOM-Cosy up in the living room on the oversized L shape couch. There is a TV with the ability to stream Netflix and other streaming services. There are local magazines for you as well. The kitchen table that seats up to 6 people is in the living room.

THE KITCHEN-Cook up some delicious meals in this fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, BBQ tools, and all your basic kitchen needs. We have two coffee pots, a drip coffee \and and Keurig for your coffee by the cup. Coffee pods are not provided but sometime there are left over pods available. The kitchen has a stainless less fridge, dishwasher and electric stove top and oven.

LAUNDRY-There is laundry in the hall closet. Detergent is not always provided but if it’s there, feel free to help yourself. The iron is located in the closet as well.
PARKING-You have two provided parking spots in the gated parking area. They are numbered #6. Guests are asked to park on the street.
PATIO-There is a shared patio with other units. There are two gas BBQs (they are hooked up to the building so no need to get propane) and picnic tables for you to use during your trip
WIFI/ENTERTAINMENT-The home is set up with high speed wifi. The router is located under the living room TV. The TV is set up with cable and is able to stream shows and movies from Netflix and other steaming services

BEACH GEAR-The house is located on the beach so we are happy to provide our guests with boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and towels for all your beach needs. We ask you do not leave any items on the beach and bring everything back on to the unit when you are not using.

DO YOU ALLOW LUGGAGE DROP-OFF OR CAR PARKING FOR EARLY ARRIVALS OR LATE DEPARTURES?
No, we cannot be responsible for your personal belongings or have our cleaning crew interrupted while preparing the house.
HOW CLOSE IS THE BEACH?
The home is located directly on the sand of Carpinteria State Beach. This unit does not have an ocean view but is just down the hall from the sand.

CAN WE BRING PETS/ANIMALS?
Sorry we do not allow pets in the home. Our HOA does not allow us to accept pets. The owner has severe allergies to animals so unfortunately we cannot accept any animals in the home.

3. NO PHOTO/VIDEO SHOOTS without prior approval from Host.
4. MAXIMUM 6 OVERNIGHT GUESTS-This includes 2+ years-old kids
6. QUIET HOURS are 10 pm – 7 am Please be respectful of neighbors.
7. Please don’t rearrange the furniture.

If a violation is reported against any of the rules, or should we get any complaints from the HOA, guests: will be required to pay the fines may be asked to vacate the premises without refund for the remaining days of the scheduled stay.
