Halcyon Hideway is undergoing renovation to be completed in Spring 2024. The renovated home will offer 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and sleep 24. The home is located in the highly desirable Old Seagrove neighborhood and is only a 5-minute stroll to the beach or Seaside. Amenities include a new heated saltwater pool/spa, deck, outdoor space, natural gas BBQ grill, screened-in front porch, and more! There is parking for 7-8 vehicles.

Halcyon Hideaway - Renovation underway! Spring 2024 Completion!
The house includes a new pool and outdoor space added in Spring 2023. Maximum occupancy of 24 with 4 King bedrooms, 2 Queen bedrooms, 1 Double Queen bedroom, 1 Double Bunk room, Queen sleeper downstairs, and possible additional bed in the upstairs loft. A private saltwater pool and spa, firepit, and natural gas BBQ will make this an amazing Seagrove Beach experience. Home may have a 7-night minimum peak Spring Break and Summer. Contact the host with questions. 25-year age minimum.

1st Floor
-New 2nd Primary bedroom (BR # 5) and bath (BA #4). King bed.
-New 3/4 guest bath (BA # 5).
-New Living Area space.
The current living area will be the dining room off the kitchen.
-New screened-in front porch.

NEW 2nd Floor
-New King bedroom (BR #6) with ensuite bath (BA #6).
-New King bedroom (BR #7).
-New Bunk room (BR #8).
-New bath (BA # 7) shared with king and bunk bedrooms.
-New loft/game area.

You’ll enter from the screened-in porch to the open living area with a comfy sectional sofa and 55-inch Roku Flat screen TV. The living area flows to the open kitchen and dining area with raised ceilings. The kitchen is well-appointed with stainless appliances, granite countertops, and a farmhouse sink. A large prep area and/or eat-in island separates the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen island offers a drop-down to desk level for those that want to do a little 'work'.

PRIMARY BEDROOM & BATH
The spacious primary bedroom offers a king-size bed. The large primary bath has double vanities and a step-in shower with a bench, and separate wall and hand-held shower heads.

BEDROOM 2 AND BEDROOM 3
The two additional bedrooms are queen beds. The bath for bedroom 2 has a tub-shower combination. A step-in shower is in place for the bath of bedroom 3. All baths have been updated.

BEDROOM 4
Bedroom down the back hallway has two queen beds with a view of the pool and deck area. A 3/4 bath will be added to this bedroom.

BEDROOM 5
New 1st floor 2nd primary king bedroom and bath.

BEDROOM 6
New 2nd-floor king bedroom with ensuite bath.

BEDROOM 7
New 2nd floor king bedroom. Share bath with bunk room.

BEDROOM 8
New 2nd-floor bunk room.

LOFT-GAME AREA
New 2nd-floor loft at the stair landing area.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee maker, refrigerator (with ice maker), stovetop, microwave, cookware, blender, dishes, and utensils.
A complimentary welcome gift package is provided, along with a starter set of spa-quality bath toiletries. You'll also have a two-day supply of essential items, including paper towels, toilet paper, coffee, dishwasher soap, and laundry soap.

ENTERTAINMENT & TECHNOLOGY
Each bedroom has a TV with cable or YouTube TV streaming. Wi-Fi (both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks) is offered throughout the home with extenders. The large eat-in kitchen island has a desk-level laptop/office work area. Laundry area with 2023 full-size stack washer/dryer.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES
2023 saltwater pool with attached spa/hot tub, natural gas BBQ grill, small charcoal grill, deck, fire pit, and backyard gathering space. Pool can be heated for $55 per night of your stay.

IMPORTANT DETAILS
Host requires: ID upload required for age verification, signed rental agreement, and online check in.
We provide 1-2 day supply of basics, coffee, TP, paper towels, laundry/dishwasher soaps, bath toiletries, trash bags, etc. Please include these items when shopping.
Living room sectional sofa offers a queen memory foam sleeper mattress.
For safety/security purposes, the home may have cameras in place at the pool area.
There are 3-steps to enter this home from the front or back. Stairway to 2nd floor.
Cleaning protocols follow PMI Purify with disinfecting of all high-touch surfaces. PMI Purify is a 10-step cleaning process developed in conjunction with the Housekeeping Solutions Team and industry experts.

NEIGHBORHOOD
Old Seagrove is a special neighborhood. You are a short 5-minute stroll to the Dogwood-Thyme Public Beach Access. At the same time, you are only minutes from Seaside, the south's landmark of New Urbanism, and regularly included on Top & Best beach/beach-town lists. It is central to east 30A shopping, restaurants, and entertainment in Seaside, Grayton Beach, Watercolor, Watersound, The Hub, Alys Beach, and Rosemary Beach. Seaside also served as the primary filming location of "The Truman Show" starring Jim Carey.

The Beaches of South Walton are tucked away in Northwest Florida between Destin and Panama City on Scenic Hwy 30A, which runs for 18.2 miles along unspoiled sandy white beaches and sea oat-covered dunes, past freshwater coastal lakes, saltwater inlets, through hardwood hammocks, longleaf pines and superb coastal scrub oaks. The beaches are famous for the shimmering emerald blue-green brilliance of the Gulf of Mexico, sugar-white fine sand beaches, and unspoiled natural beauty.

Beach chair rental is generally available from March to September with Vacayzen at the Dogwood-Thyme Beach Access. 5.0% Walton County Tourist Development Tax is included in your rate. Host offers discounts with preferred vendors for bikes and beach chair set up.

This 26-mile stretch of beach offers some of the South’s favorite places to dine. Many restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Bike and golf cart rentals are also popular and should be arranged in advance.

This was a 10/10 vacation. Aesthetic of the house…perfect. Proximity to beach…perfect. Proximity to restaurants…perfect. Proximity to restaurants… perfect. Pool and hot tub were a GREAT addition. Mitch’s response time was on point. Bring your own wine/bottle opener though; it was the only thing missing. We will stay here again. 😎

Birthday family get away
We surprised my husband with a family get away for his 43rd birthday. This property was PERFECT for our family of 6. Great proximity to all amenities. The interior of the house was spacious and beautifully decorated and well stocked. We highly recommend staying at this property which looks to be recently renovated. Enjoy the cozy porch, pedal to the beach, or take a swim in the pool! You’ll be glad you stayed here.

Great location and amenities
We had a wonderful stay at Halcyon Hideaway! The updates through out the house were fantastic. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch every morning with a cup of coffee. The brand new pool, grill and outdoor furniture were wonderful to use during our stay. We also appreciated the amount of beach gear and beach toys provided which our daughter enjoyed playing with and it was helpful that we didn’t need to bring these items with us. The location of the house is absolutely perfect. Just a short, shaded walk to the beach and also a short stroll into town. Mitch was extremely helpful and responsive when I inquired about the backyard update status and with any additional questions I had. He also allowed us to check in early which was so appreciated so our daughter could rest after a long morning of traveling. We highly recommend Halcyon Hideaway for your next trip to the Seaside/Seagrove area!

Nice Spring Break Stay
We had a great time at Mitch's place in Seagrove. The beach access was right down the road but the home was just outside of the hustle and bustle of Seaside. We would definitely stay here again.
