Come sit in the Hot tub in this beautiful location on Lakeside Mountain with two adjoining lots for 2.36 acres of pure privacy overlooking Lake Toxaway & gazing into the distant Blue Ridge Mountains. This recently updated, contemporary home is surrounded with windows, sliders & fixed glass to capture the outdoors from every angle. A split floor plan provides privacy for two families with views from every bedroom. The light filled living/dining area optimizes the views with access to the wrap-around deck equipped with gas grill and outdoor dining area. Sit back and enjoy the wood burning fireplace (wood provided) or the large flat screen TV. If cards is your game, take advantage of the poker table equipped with cards, chips, and even roulette. The gourmet kitchen offers granite counters & new appliances equipped with everything you need to prepare your home cooked meals.

The Hawk’s Nest sits above the main level with magnificent views and privacy that’s perfect for reading or quiet solitude. Below the main floor is an entertainment room equipped with a kitchenette and board games. A large comfortable sectional is centered on the large screen projector with a theater quality surround sound system that makes watching your favorite movies or television shows extra enjoyable. If you prefer your fires outside, mosey down to the outdoor firepit and roast some marsh mellows while you gaze at the beautiful stars. Guests of this property have access to Lake Toxaway marina (country club not included). Guests may rent boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and skis/tubes by the hour, day or week. Easy drive to incredible hiking and biking trails, and fishing and in the heart of Transylvania, Land of Waterfalls. Our property is centrally located between two charming mountain towns with great shopping and restaurants. Come explore the state and national forest that is within minutes of the property or enjoy a beautiful drive to Cashiers (only 13 miles west) or Brevard (only 19 miles east), or just sit and enjoy your own great views right in the back yard!

Perfect Rental for a Family

We loved the location and spacious interior of this home. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay here again!

A great family getaway in the mountains

We enjoyed this property so much, this was our second stay! The house is well appointed for one or even two families to stay. The house has beautiful views, an excellent Property manager and is exactly as pictured. Amenities and activities of all kinds are not far away all while feeling like you are disconnected from everything in the mountains!

Views are what sold us on this property and they did not disappoint! Spent as much time as possible out on the deck, from beautiful sunrises through wildlife filled days. Everything from the furniture to the beds to the decor exudes comfort. Well appointed kitchen with all the amenities. The drive up the mountain is no joke for us flatlanders, but well worth it! Exactly as advertised. Loved our time there.

A great mountain family escape

This property is stunning you can see the mountains from just about every room. The house is well appointed for one or two families to share. The home is exactly as pictured, we were very comfortable and the property manager was excellent and very helpful and responsive. Our only regret is we wish we stayed for a second week!

Beautiful Home and Views

The house and the views are beautiful! A bit of a walk to the fire pit, but in a great spot. The house provides great views in the main rooms as well as the bedrooms. Wrap-around porch with seating is very nice. The kitchen was well equipped. All in all a good experience. The driveway is STEEP, but ends with a flat and large parking area. A little scary the first time you go up.

Amazing!

Simply amazing. The property is immaculate. The house is huge. Great for a large group- or like us, just a couple. The views are spectacular. And the road is easy. A bit steep at the end but unless it’s snowy or icy, I can’t see how any vehicle would have issues.

Wonderful property

The house, the location, and the view are all fabulous The furniture is very comfy with lots of blankets for the cold weather The bed and pillows were super comfy The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, with the basic spices all provided Brooke was very helpful and brought extra wood when we asked We had a heater problem the first night and it was fixed early the next morning! We are not able to use the fire pit because of the burn ban but I think it would be great fun Wonderful week in the mountains

Beautiful views and plenty of indoor fun

Beautiful mountain top vista views are the highlight of this property. Second would be the fun amenities for kids--downstairs play room with large projector screen for movies, a golf putting green, and foosball table. Lake Toxaway is heaven on earth itself and this is a great way to access it for less money, if you don't mind a dated property that feels a little more campy than most. I would recommend a few tweaks to the owners; warm spectrum light bulbs in place of the harsh blue lights in use and mattress/bedding upgrades (they are very firm with cheap sheets and a thin coverlet) to give your guests a great night sleep. We loved the poker table but the chandelier lighting above it was not working during our stay. All that said, I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this one.

Perfect for two families!

We had a fantastic stay. The house is immaculate, guest information/instructions were clear and easy to understand, and the views and property are amazing. It's 5-6 minutes from the main road, and 4-wheel or AWD is a good idea. Some roads and the driveway are steep. The parking area is large and flat. The two masters and two double-twin rooms are in separate wings, making it ideal for two families. The kitchen is extremely well equipped - cooking meals at home is no problem here! The house is located almost equidistant from Cashiers and Brevard, so there's plenty to do and see in the area. Highly recommend if you're vacationing in this part of NC!
