Thank you for your feedback. As we have had an exceptional amount of rain this past month, the grass may have been overgrown and needed care. (Our lawn guy comes every other week and does it). The access to the door was again unfortunate as we are not near and had quests there prior to your stay so we did not realize that the batteries were low. Thank you for changing the batteries and glad we had some in house for just this occasion. We strive to have the pest control and cleaning of the home regularly and am sorry to hear that things didn't look up to par. I will get with the cleaner and see what steps we need to take for the linens. I'll have the pest guy come out again and clear the wasp nests. I again will apologize for the uncleanness you experienced as we do strive to keep it very clean and normally have a deep clean once to two times a year. We know that if you are traveling from outside of Texas, that the mosquito/wasps issues may seem like something we can control but that is not possible when we get weather as we have had. We wish we could. :) Again, we strive to make every stay worth the expense, but sometimes things happen that are unforeseen. Thanks again for your stay and Congrats on the retirement.
