Peaceful Getaway

The house was exactly what we were looking for...a peaceful, quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of town. The view of the valley was great! And Jason, the host, was friendly and accommodating! I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area. Even though it has the flavor of being in the country, everything in town (Mineral Wells) is less than 10 minutes away!

Our Stay

We were not able to make our trip because my dad was airlifted to El Paso for emergency surgery the day before we were supposed to pick them up. My disappointment and the reason for the review is when I asked the owner for a partial refund (cleaning and service fees) due to family emergency, I never heard back. I have emailed the owner three times, but no reply. If you do not want to refund our trip, that is your choice, but to not respond is unprofessional.

I wasn’t actually unaware of any of this. I’m not sure how you were messaging me. We’ve been having issues with VRBO connecting to our channel manager, which may be the reason we haven’t seen your messages. The best way to contact us is directly via phone or text. I’m not sure if you can actually give us a 1 star review if you didn’t actually stay here. I agree that you deserved a response, but you should have called at least once.
