What a lovely space to visit in Vermont, just outside of Stowe with a comfortable and cozy place to rest your head. The property is very spacious with 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and access to garage parking. A beautiful front and back porch and a large yard that would be lovely in warmer months. The living room has a nice gas stove fireplace that was nice on chilly mornings, and views were stunning of the Vermont foliage.

The location was great - away from the hustle and bustle of Stowe but easily accessible. The homemade bread, jam and honey were a delicious surprise!

"Winter getaway"

House was beautiful, clean and roomy. Pulling into the garage, out of the weather was great. I would recommend this home, and the host were great.

Ski getaway

This was a beautiful house in a great location! Good proximity to a lot of local restaurants. The house was very clean and perfect for our group ski trip to Stowe. Hosts are very responsive and easy to communicate wth. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is our second year at this property, and we will be coming back for a third year in 2027. This property is lovely and the host is wonderful to work with. Ruth makes everything easy. The house is extremely clean, the beds comfortable and all of the seating areas, inside and out, just right. If you have mobility issues, this house is all on one floor and there is a walk-in shower in the master bedroom. It would not accommodate a wheelchair though and there are four stairs to enter the property either from the garage or front porch. They added a propane firepit on the front porch this year, which was a big hit with my party. There is a regular firepit in the back yard also. One thing that is unusual for many properties is that there is a large two car garage that you can use. There is a ping pong table and foosball game in the basement, as well as washer and dryer down there but we don't use those items. The host leaves a wonderful welcome basket with bread, butter, honey and jam, which is lovely. I would recommend some olive oil and a few more seasonings be added to the house. It does have both a Keurig and drip coffee maker and a teapot. Lastly, the view from the front of the house is wonderful. Can't be beat. Great house.

This was a wonderful house. Very clean and comfortable with fabulous views. The two car garage was a plus and the gathering spaces on the front and back decks were great. The location was very convenient to all sorts of stores, breweries and restaurants but you don't see or hear any of it where the house is located. Lastly, Ruth, the owner was extremely easy to deal with and helpful. We hope to return next year to enjoy this lovely house again.

Vermont Treasure!

We absolutely loved our stay at this clean and comfortable home. The views of the mountains were amazing. We so appreciate Ruth’s welcome basket, filled with homemade bread, jam and honey from her hives. In addition, she picked up a package for me, that I forgot to pack and brought it over. We would stay here again, without question!

AMAZING!

Really and truly one of the best rental properties we’ve ever stayed in. Ruth was so welcoming & quickly addressed the few questions we had before arriving. The house was super clean which was great since we had our crawling 11 month old son with us. Ruth had absolutely everything that we could need in the home - including a bunch of yard games & firewood which was great. Highly recommend!

Awesome !!

Has to be one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Amazed at how Ruth has thought of everything! Super clean, super streamlined and uncluttered and thoroughly welcoming place right down to the fresh flowers on the table and a well stocked coffee, hot chocolate and multi-tea stash w creamers and sweeteners. The little welcome basket was a wonderful surprise. Ruth is the hostess with the mostest. Will absolutely try to stay here again if it’s available for our needs. There wasn’t anything we needed that we didn’t have. Oh- and the views from this property — incredible. Perfect peak-leaf season mini-vacay. 😁👍👏🏼💕

We (two couples) had an amazing stay at Ms. Ruth’s comfy place just outside Hyde Park. She met us late to welcome us, and we were greeted with her farm fresh bread, jam, and honey — with a stick of butter!! Perfect with/for breakfast! The home served as a great hub for all of our foliage-viewing travels. We made ourselves at home, taking advantage of the many kitchen amenities and the grill. Garage had firewood (fire pit was a bonus) and camp chairs - which we also enjoyed watching the morning rain from the garage. Played games at the dining table with a view of both front and back of the beautiful property. Hope to bring husband’s parents back to this home for foliage viewing next fall.
