Cabane romantique: Animaux acceptĂ©s, PoĂȘle Ă  bois, 1 CAC + Loft

La cabine Goldilocks est une retraite confortable pour une escapade romantique, et idéale pour les petites familles également. La cabane est sur 4 hectares boisés, mais à seulement 1 mile du village de Stowe, à huit miles du mont. Mansfield et le ski, et à seulement quelques kilomÚtres du Pinnacle, l'une des randonnées les plus spectaculaires du Vermont.

La cabine Goldilocks est bien amĂ©nagĂ©e avec des antiquitĂ©s de la ForĂȘt-Noire et de la France, des tapis tissĂ©s Ă  la main et des lustres en bois - la combinaison parfaite de rustique et de luxe. Le poĂȘle Ă  bois chaud et la pendule Ă  coucou font de cette cabane une retraite confortable aprĂšs une journĂ©e de randonnĂ©e ou de ski. La grande chambre principale a un lit Ă  baldaquin antique, avec un somptueux matelas et une alcĂŽve avec un canapĂ©-lit. Le grenier de couchage (un favori des enfants plus ĂągĂ©s) est accessible par une Ă©chelle et dispose d'un lit double. Il y a aussi un canapĂ©-lit dans le salon. La cabine a deux ponts et un barbecue Ă  gaz, et un foyer. Goldilocks accepte les animaux. Les animaux de compagnie bien Ă©levĂ©s et approuvĂ©s sont toujours les bienvenus.

Les clients mentionnent souvent notre souci du détail comme l'une des nombreuses raisons pour lesquelles cette cabine a dépassé leurs attentes. La cabine Goldilocks est parfaite.

We had an amazing stay at the Goldilocks Cabin. It’s beautifully decorated, with so many sweet and thoughtful details that truly make you feel like you’re on a movie set. The cabin is just a couple of minutes from downtown, where all the charming shops and restaurants are located.We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed. Our kids absolutely loved the loft area—it felt magical to them! The owners are incredibly kind and even allowed us to bring our dog at the very last minute, no questions asked.We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking to stay in Stowe.

We had the best return to Goldilocks this Thanksgiving. The cottage is uber charming and comfortable with everything you might need. The kitchen was stocked, as was wood for the woodburning stove. The location cant be beat, it's just a great cozy spot to relax.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The wood stove made it extra cozy at night, and the location was perfect—close to town, but still quiet and peaceful. The host’s communication was fantastic and made everything easy from check-in to checkout. We also really appreciated that it’s pet-friendly! Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain retreat.

Goldilocks Cottage was a relaxing cabin for our week in Stowe. The cottage was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the grounds were well kept. The location was great for the activities we planned, and it was comfortable to cook and eat at home in the evening. There was a quiet 2mile loop to walk each morning.

I love the fact that our host has put everything one needs to feel @ home. Robes, coffee machine, grinder, all kinds of cooking pots, towels, hair stuff, seasonings, grill etc. You don't have to bring much. Comfy for 2 & puppy, this is our go to cabin.

Goldilocks

This cozy cabin was exactly what we needed. It was decorated with gorgeous colonial fabrics and the worn wood floors were buttery smooth. The kitchen was well equipped with excellent cookware that made meal making fun. We found good game choices, enjoyed sitting on the deck to soak up some sun and had fun sitting around the campire in the evening! Great location being close to town but far enough to feel country. Goldilocks made a very nice memory.

Nice little cottage....

The Goldilocks' Cottage is one of the nicest, and cleanest, places that we have stayed at in Stowe. We loved the hominess of it, the eccentric decor AND, the deer grazing just off the lawn one morning while we enjoyed our coffee on the back deck. A true treasure.

Magical Cottage

The Goldilocks Cottage is more than just right--this cozy and beautifully decorated cabin gave us the getaway we'd been hoping for. Thoughtfully designed, the cottage provided a warm, inviting place to hang out between our winter adventures.

Clean, cozy, and great location

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with friends. The cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated with whimsical touches that really added to the charm. The beds were super comfy. Highly recommend this cabin, we will be back! charming, retreat!

Charming cabin, bedroom needs a little TLC

This rental was as described - a charming log cabin with scarred wood floors, a woodburning stove and interesting knick knacks. Kitchen was well stocked and there was a grill on the deck for outdoor cooking. Our only complaint was the master bedroom, which smelled musty and needs a deep clean. Stained pillows need to be replaced and all bedding refreshed.

Snowbound

The driveway was not cleared, caused my truck to slide and have to be towed by AAA one day, the next day, after snowing at night, slid again and had to dig out of the opposite snow bank. No snow shovel at location. Driveway not cleared and had a terrible crown, suggest scraping down the crown. Beautiful cabin not so great snow removal.

This cabin is cozy and quiet but still very close to town. It snowed nearly every night and the driveway was plowed multiple times. Will stay again!

Charming Warm Country Cabin

We found the perfect little home away from home location spot - charming cabin a short drive to town where our whole family (my husband, daughter, and our dog) could relax after a day of skiing and sight-seeing. Stowe is a picture postcard around every corner and that includes this sweet cabin. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, it added such a nice touch to the cold winter evenings. Impressed with all the little touches - would indeed return!

Lovely Thanksgiving Stay

We had a lovely stay at the goldilocks cabin. It was exactly as described and the pictures were accurate. The location is close to everything in Stowe and Waterbury. Since we love cooking, we were pleased to find the kitchen is well-provided with kitchen utensils and pots, exactly as seen in the pictures.The cabin is very cozy and the decoration is amazing, with many goldilocks theme details. The wood-fired stove had already been loaded with firewood, which was a pleasant surprise, and it was well-provided with extra kindling in a nearby basket. We loved how cozy it was to stay near it and even made some hot chocolate on it.If we had to note something it would be that both TVs (the one in the living room and the bedroom) are quite small, and that the living room TV is positioned in a way that makes it quite inconvenient to use. So if you plan on watching movies in the cabin, keep that in mind.That said we had a great stay and definitely recommend the cabin!

In this commoditized world of professionally managed properties it has become difficult to find the personalized and the unique. Goldilocks Cabin is the antidote to this predictability.

I am married to a tug boat captain, and we live on Nantucket island with our cat, Charlie, and three chickens.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Goldilocks Cabin was originally the ski cabin of the principal designer at the interior design firm where I was then employed. Together we had great fun decorating the cabin on buying trips to New York, the Paris Flea Market, and at our favorite Vermont antique stores. When my boss decided to buy a bigger house, I jumped at the chance to make Goldilocks Cabin my own.
