Property was very nice and clean! Really enjoyed the Dutch oven type grill in the backyard! Very spacious and the kitchen had just about everything you needed to make dinner! Overall it was a fantastic stay!

We loved this space! The hosts were very communicative when we had a hiccup during our stay. We had a blast playing in the game room downstairs. Legends, ameristar and ikea were all a short drive away from the house, which is located in a beautiful, quiet area. We hope to come back sometime in the future!

Perfect for a place to hang out of the heat

My family and I just stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The house was spacious and clean. It was so nice and cool and offered plenty of room for us to hang out inside when we wanted to get out of the heat. Communication with the owners was timely and helpful. We plan on staying here again in a month. Very happy to have found this place close to family.

Arrowhead

The house was perfect, plenty of space and stocked with everything we needed! It was in a beautiful area as well. It was so close to downtown and Arrowhead stadium. Excellent place to stay and the owner was so prompt at getting back to me. Definitely recommend and will stay here again if we come back!!

Beautiful Location~Spacious Home

The communication with the owner was prompt and easy! The home was perfect for our girls trip family vacation. With nine people, we had plenty and space and privacy. The home sets in a wooded area that is quiet and very beautiful. Definitely recommend for anyone traveling to the Kansas City area!

Unfortunately, we’ve stayed at many and this stay was very disappointing. The power went out from around 3:00 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m., and there were no flashlights, candles, or any emergency lighting available in the home, making it difficult to safely get around especially for our elderly parents.The property also appears to still be under construction or in the middle of repairs. We found loose screws on the floor, metal shavings, mismatched painted areas, lots of cracked ceiling and one of the windows was being held together with painter’s tape. Lack of working lights and no curtains in one bedroom. There are also lots of steps with no handrails, which made moving around the property feel unsafe at times for my parents with one slip and fall.In addition, there was a large amount of dirty laundry piled up in the laundry room from previous guests. While the bedding itself was clean, the floors and carpets clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. We spent the first few hours of our stay cleaning just to make the space usable. And after a run tonthe store to buy shampoo and tissues.It didn’t feel like the home was fully ready for guests, and the photos are quite misleading compared to the actual condition of the property. Don’t let them fool you like they did us.To make matters worse, the nightly rate was still at premium pricing. For what we paid, we expected a much better experience.

Hi Samuel, We truly apologize for this experience. None of these issues were brought to our attention during your stay. Unfortunately you stayed during a time of extreme storms in the area and we were not aware of the power outage. We would have happily sent out additional lights and allowed you access where we store them had you communicated with us. As dedicated hosts, we are always making the property better with landscaping and updating amenities and have had multiple guests say the property is better than expected when they arrive. We apologize for your experience and truly wish we would have been able to make it right during your stay.

This spacious home is in a beautiful neighborhood and was a wonderful place to stay. We spent the weekend with our kids & grandkids and everyone had a great time. The basement gameroom was perfect for the kids to play and the main floor livingroom/diningroom/kitchen had loads of room for everyone to spread out but still be connected. The bedrooms were all huge. We just never felt cramped even though there were 12 of us. The highlight was seeing deer and a fox stroll through the back yard. So great. Loved this place!

Spacious and clean

Our stay was great! The place was clean and more than enough room for our group of 3. The steep driveway was cleared after a storm but higher winds had partially re-covered it in snow. We were still able to get in and out safely, but it’s something to keep in mind if it’s windy after a storm. I’d definitely stay here again.

Clean but musty odor

This place is great, location, size, with stocked amenities!The place was clean, the only problem we had was that there was a bad musty odor that even with opening windows and airing it out would not go away. We mostly just slept there because all our activities were at our family's home in Parkville, but the odor was just an annoyance.

Great space

The house had excellent space for our large family. We had beds for everyone, which my kids were happy about. We had a large kitchen and dining area as well. I would say the house can sleep 11 on beds and a couple people on the couch if needed. The house did need a few things fixed, but we could tell it was a work in progress. Overall it was what we needed it to be.
