Spacious Mother-In-Law Basement Apartment -One mile from Hill AFB

Completely remodeled 1,500 sq. ft. lower level of house. Was built as a separate mother-in-law apartment with a private entrance in the back yard; parking is in the front of the house (park behind “VRBO Parking” sign). Very spacious combination living, dining and kitchen area with hide-a-bed in the living room. King bed in the master bedroom and 3 beds in a large second bedroom. TVs in all rooms with a large 72” in the living room. The home is stocked with most everything needed, games and baby needs. Large covered patio with grill and picnic tables. Very spacious back yard for any recreation you would like to use it for, (tree swing and yard games available). Nearby attractions: 2 minutes to Hill Air Force Base (Aerospace Museum), 15 minutes to downtown Ogden & Waterfall Canyon and many other hiking trails, 30 minutes to Snowbasin Ski Resort, Salt Lake City, and SLC Airport. Host is retired USAF and has lived in the area for 25 years, has explored Utah and can help with more information about the area.

Stayed at this VRBO twice now and just love it. Very clean with everything we could need. My kids love the backyard with the swing and all the room.

I was hesitant to stay in a mother in law/basement style VRBO but this place was very clean and very comfortable. The seating around the TV was perfect for my family. The backyard was clean and the owners very kind. I would love to stay there again.

Great accommodations!

This place worked out great for our family. The open floor plan let us all hang out together even while cooking! We really appreciated all the family games that were available. Cornhole and Chess were the favorites. I only gave the Location/Neighborhood 4 stars because it's not a down town hot spot, which again was perfect for us. The hosts are super nice and very helpful. We will stay here again!

Landing Spot

We needed a landing spot in the north Davis area in between relocating and this worked great. Near the places we needed to go and plenty of space for our extra boxes to sit for a few days. And we even played some games.

Great hosts and nice place.

Nice place, very clean, and the hosts are very thoughtful in their accommodations. We loved the provided games and the backyard. They were quick to help out with a small issue with the electronic lock. We did have a few bug problems, but the hosts are very aware of it and were working on getting it taken care of.

Marina and Tom are superb hosts, creating an excellent atmosphere for families that is really appreciated. Fantastic!!!

The property was very clean, cozy, comfy!!! I completely appreciated how it offered the little things, of which most I couldn’t bring. Shampoo conditioner, cotton pads, etc. It truly was a home away from home. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Absolutely amazing!!

Me and my friends and family stayed here for my wedding and the hosts especially were so kind and helpful! We used this place as a getting ready spot and for a place to have our girls slumber party before my big day. This place was absolutely perfect for us and just amazing as they had so many games for us to enjoy and so many other things for us to just feel relaxed and stress free! Especially since we got to hangout with Sunshine who is just absolutely so sweet! Thanks to the hosts and the place, we were stress free and just so happy because of it!

Exactly what I hoped

When I selected this rental online, I had high hopes. All of those hopes were met or exceeded. The spaces were sizable, the furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with all the appliances and features one could need. Having laundry appliances was a great feature. The host family is a great group of people!

Perfect Fit

We chose this listing for the location. It met our needs and so much more. There was plenty of room with 2 large bedrooms, kitchen, dining and family room.The second bedroom had a large desk that allowed our teenager to play his video games in his own space.There are plenty of board games, outdoor games and a huge yard to play. We were lucky with perfect weather! property was very clean and nicely decorated.The owner stayed in contact to be sure we had everything we needed. Parking is very convenient. Very nice property!

Would stay again

We really appreciated this downstairs apartment. It was clean and well maintained. The shower drains slowly but we figured out how to work with it. They do have a dog so keep that in mind with children playing in the yard, but we had no issues with this. The owners were very kind and easy to work with, I was so grateful for their patience with my loud children. I loved having the washer and dryer available, and the three beds in the bedroom was super helpful for figuring out sleeping arrangements for all our littles. It was a good experience overall and I would recommend it to others!

Tom & Marina have lived in Utah for 25 years, retired from the USAF in 2002.
Tom is originally from Wisconsin and Marina was born in Berlin, Germany. We've lived in many places over the past 40 years of marriage, and think Utah is the best place to live; mild seasons and so much to do. We have 5 adult kids that are married and have given us 14 grandchildren. They all live in the area and we have had many adventures together all over the state of Utah.
