You will love our all new efficiency apartment created especially for our airbnb guests! There is a full kitchen, table, and sofa along with one queen size and one king size bed. This place is perfect for long term stays, as it has great storage space throughout and a fully stocked kitchen with all the supplies you'll need to cook with. In addition, we are less than a mile from I-485, which makes an easy drive to Charlotte, yet we're surrounded by woods, nature, and quiet!
The space
Our home is only one mile from I-485 in the quaint town of Mint Hill. We have the convenience of being within a 20 minute drive to Charlotte, the motor speedway, large shopping areas, and only a few minutes away from several grocery stores and restaurants. However, the most wonderful thing about our property is that you feel like you are out in the woods surrounded by nature! The apartment you will be staying in is brand new and has everything you need for a short or long term stay, including a full size refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and microwave. It has a queen size bed in the bedroom and a king size bed in the main living area. It is attached to our home but has its own private entrance, walkway, and even its own parking pad large enough for two cars! Because it is attached to our home, expect to hear some foot traffic, especially from our dog, Rosie :-)! The apartment has wifi and TV with Roku, Netflix, and Hulu. Coffee and breakfast bars are provided for all our guests. Children are welcome and we have a pack-n-play available for babies and toddlers, as well as some games for older kids to play. They are more than welcome to play in our fenced in back yard. Our deck, deck furniture and BBQ grill are shared spaces that our family will share with you. Our washer and dryer are available upon request for our longer staying guests. We believe in living in a non-toxic environment as much as possible, so our guest apartment is cleaned with all organic, non-toxic products, and will not have any fragrances except for diffused essential oils.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to hang out on our back deck and use our BBQ grill if they'd like.
Other things to note
Because of the corona virus, we are taking extra efforts to clean all surfaces with disinfectant, and wash all sheets and towels in hot water. We also have a high quality HEPA air filter we will place in the room for several hours before each guest arrives. You can feel safe staying in your secluded part of our home!

Also, because we live in the woods, it's possible you may encounter some friendly roly polies in the entry way during the summer months. We have taken steps to remedy this, but please be aware that it still may be a possibility.

Lastly, our space is for booked guests only. No extra overnight visitors without asking first please.
