Simmer Down Villa is a new 4 bdr / 5 bath private beach villa located within the gated community of Silver Sands Estate, Trelawny. The villa boast an entry water feature, private pool & hot tub, air conditioning in all bedrooms, fulltime chef and housekeeper on staff. The beach is a 5 min walk away. Villa is sanitized and meets COVID19 protocols. Contact host for daily menu options. Food cost billed separately. Free on-site laundry. Come relax and Simmer Down in the cool Caribbean waters.

Wonderful stay

My family and i, including three teenagers and a 10-year-old, loved our stay. The house is beautiful and just a couple blocks to a lovely Beach. The chef and the house staff did a great job as well. We went horseback riding and did the tour of the lagoon with the bioluminescence. Otherwise we just hung out in the pool and at the beach and had a very relaxing vacation.

Wonderful!

I can't say enough good things about renting this house for a huge family get-together at Silver Sands. This is a modern home and very comfortable. Tess, Tomika and Tara did an excellent job--going way out of their way to make us comfortable. It was very hot when we were there and I wish more houses had full air conditioning--not just the bedrooms, but when out by the pool, there was a wonderful breeze. Tess was so accommodating to our needs and even cooked special food for the vegan who was with us. The house is a short 5 min walk to the beach where you can enjoy a lounge chair and a drink at the bar. I highly recommend this house--We'll be back!

Great House, Pool & Team, Short Walk to Silver Sands Beach

We visited Jamaica for the first time over spring break. Coming from DC, we were two families with two 18 yr-old high school senior boys for our last spring break before they head off to college. Simmer Down was a great house. It was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were awesome and relaxing. The breeze off the ocean was perfect so we rarely used the AC (only in the bedrooms to sleep). The gated community was quiet and we always felt very safe. The beach is fantastic and just a 5 min easy walk from the house. There is a small beach bar for drinks and snacks/lunch and fun things at night like karaoke. We brought our paddles and played pickleball on the community tennis court every day.‹‹Tess, Tameika and Tara were amazing. They cooked most meals for us, and accommodated some of our dietary needs (ie, gluten free). Tess was also able to guide us with excursions, the beach, tennis reservations, etc
. An A+ team.‹‹Overall, we loved Silver Sands and Simmer Down. It was a perfect vacation for us and we highly recommend it.

Wonderful Spring Break

Our family had a great time at Simmer down for Spring Break. The villa is as advertised
great layout for chilling and entertaining with a nice splash pool. Just a short walk to the perfect beach. Tess, Tamika and Tara took very good care of us
Tess kept us well fed and made some awesome meals. Wonderful week!

Stunning Vacation Home w/pool, spa and incredible staff!

We absolutely loved our time at Simmer Down! This was my 3rd time to Silver Sands. I was born in Kingston and this is my favorite part of the island and favorite beach. Simmer Down was hands down my best stay in Silver Sands. We’ll definitely be coming back. We had a large family group including my cousin, my sister, my second sister and her teen, my daughter (6) and myself. 4 adults 2 kids. We all came in from San Francisco, Washington DC, Atlanta, and Kingston respectively and really enjoyed this family trip! The four bedrooms are spacious and with a roof deck, patio and open floor plan we were all really comfortable together while having private spaces to recharge. The highlight was the staff led by Tess! Tess, Tara, and Tameka were incredible! We had home cooked meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the space was kept clean for us with our laundry washed to boot. Can’t express enough how great Tess and the team are!
