This perfect Island getaway home is 5th row from a semi-private beach SEA PINES! Walk from your vacation house only 2 minute walk to the beach on a semi-private paved walkway. There are NO public parking spots, NO big resorts, so the beach is way less crowded and far more enjoyable than anywhere else on the entire island! There really is no better location to host your trip than Oyster Catcher Rd. Not only do you have prime beach property, but the entire Sea Pines Resort right in your backyard!

The space

Enjoy the southern charm of this oceanside Sea Pines Cottage-style home. Our 2,500-square-foot home has been updated with new furniture in September 2022. You will enjoy a direct beach path straight from the backyard! When you return from the beach to your summer house, simply rinse off at the outdoor shower & enjoy the large private gated pool, grill, hammock, and fire pit. Access to bicycle and walking trails are within 100 feet of the driveway.

This house was perfect for our family - functional layout and very well equipped with very easy access to the beach and a private pool. We had zero complaints or problems while there, but if anything had come up I feel very confident that the owner would have responded quickly and been able to fix any issues quickly. The communication was great! Will definitely stay here again - thank you!

Best Family Vacation Home!!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this home! The cleanliness was superb, the proximity to the beach was outstanding, and it has everything a family could want or need! Our kids want to stay in this home again when we return to HHI! We appreciated the thoughtful details throughout from the boardgames, books and beach chairs, to the extra towels and blankets. The communication from the Host Family was exceptional and very much appreciated!

A perfect vacation

7 Oyster Catcher was a wonderful house. It was the perfect size for our family of six (but could have accommodated more). The walk to the beach was shorter than expected and the pool was clean and refreshing. Having the hot tub in the closed in area was great to keep the bugs at bay. The owners were very easily reachable and quick to answer all questions asked. We would certainly return.

Annual family beach trip

We come to HHI every year and this was no exception to an exceptional time! Caitlin was so easy to work with and helpful in everyway! The house was very kid friendly (traveled with 4 and 6 year old) from the kids playroom, with books and games to the pool and beach toys! The proximity to the beach was a must have and it delivered!! All in all a great stay and wonderful host.

We survived Debby !

The house was exactly as described and the best VRBO we have used. Caitlin was very helpful and responsive as we "enjoyed" hurricane Debby. She looked out for us during the hurricane. She's a great host. I would recommend this property if it meets your needs. We would use it again.

Great Spring Break Escape

Our family of 5 had a great week at this welcoming and comfortable home. Enough bedrooms to give everyone privacy and family rooms and outdoor space for fun and games. The short walk to the beach was easy and the heated pool and hot tub perfect for afterwards. The kids loved the air hockey table and assortment of games to choose from. The kitchen had everything we needed. Overall a great trip! Thanks!

Oyster Catcher

This is a great house in a perfect location! The inside is so cute. The pool is nice and big and is completely fenced in. Beds are comfortable. 3 nice bathrooms and a large laundry room. Lots of seating areas and games, books, and TVs. Kitchen is well stocked. Easy walk to the beach. Beach is quiet and not at all crowded. Owner is very responsive if issues arise. Would definitely come back!

We visit Sea Pines every February for a month. We love this cottage. It has everything we need-location to the beach, golf, walking & biking and eating great food! The cottage and property are spotless. The workers who maintain it are pleasant and helpful. The owners are accessible and immediately on top of any concerns! They have thought of everything to make the house amenable to an extended stay. We appreciate their thoughtfulness in designing their cottage for adults and children of any age.

Great Stay at Sea Pines

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Pines. Caitlin’s house was perfect for our family. It’s located on a quiet street more towards the entrance of Sea Pines. Beach access was super easy with a short paved path to the beach from the backyard. The kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and foosball table. Caitlin was the best host. She was very organized with providing information ahead of our trip, and super responsive when we had questions. She also provided us with some great recommendations as it was our first time visiting HHI. The property was very clean and well maintained. We loved renting bikes and riding on the beach and to Harbortown. Overall, a lovely home and vacation!

Perfect family getaway

We had a wonderful time at this lovely home. Our 2 families and grandparents enjoyed cooking, bbqing, swimming in the pool and the ocean. Great layout of home. The bunk room worked well for our Teens and adult kids. We brought an EZ Up canopy for the beach which was a must. There is so much to do. There are even places that rent out beach chairs & umbrellas as well as bikes & other beach toys and they deliver right to you - truly hassle free. The trees are amazing. We saw deer our first day on the beach dunes. Just had a wonderful relaxing and memorable time. Highly recommend.

Mixed feelings

Air hockey table and "kids room"we're great pluses. Could (and should) have been cleaner. Walls we're paper thin, so even with a sound machine in the bedroom, it was noisy from one room to another (made it hard to keep little ones asleep while older kids and adults stayed up to visit and play games).

Excellent vacation!

We booked this trip so far in advanced due to it being during a holiday weekend and in that time we were notified by the property manager that a new family has purchased the home. From that moment, the Haas family were nothing but incredible. Their prompt responses and hospitality were exactly what any traveler needs especially when they are handling a trip during one of the busiest weekends on HHI. Although the home may be a bit dated, it is exactly what you need for a large group and they did an excellent job having it ready for us. The numerous bed options, the amazing heated pool, awesome jacuzzi in the covered area (no mosquitos!), and short semi-private path to the beach were only a few of the best parts of the home. I can't recommend this property and owners enough. Thank you Haas family for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect last minute getaway

Mother nature was not on our side for this trip but the owners really went out of their way to accommodate us in other ways. We still enjoyed the heated pool. The hot tub was covered which was a huge plus since it rained most our trip. The inside was very spacious, kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. If you are a hot sleeper like me, you may want to bring a fan because there aren't any ceiling fans in the bedrooms. However, the rest of the family was very comfortable. We loved the easy access to the beach and walked the dogs that way often. The path felt like we were walking through the rain forest. It was really cool. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Spacious house in a beautiful neighborhood!

We enjoyed our week long stay at this lovely Sea Pines home. The layout of the house is ideal for a family vacation. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. Our 9 yr old LOVED the designated kids room, arcade game, and air hockey. Our little dog had plenty of room to run around and chase toys. It's only a short walk to the beach from a path in the backyard of the house. We took a beach wagon which was very helpful for transporting items for a day at the beach. Beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a pop-up tent, and beach toys were all provided at the house! We used the pool daily and opted to have it heated for the first few days of our stay, which was the first week of May. The water was warm and relaxing. Communication with the homemowner was top notch. We didn't have any issues during our stay. Caitlin was always quick to respond and very accomodating.
