As you can see by all the reviews below Bradley’s review, these claims are unique! We love being hosts, and always try and go above and beyond. Issues are rare, but initially, we try and give the guest the benefit of the doubt, which we tried multiple times with this guest and a party of 12. The guest only had to pay $99 for the damages, even though the cost to get the home at our standard for the next guest was significantly more. Guests were observed not respecting property or house rules. After seeing damage to the hot tub cover, guests were observed allowing kids to use the hot tub cover as a playground while the cover was on the hot tub, seen playing games, running and jumping. Guests were also observed allowing kids to jump off the hot tub headrests and diving into the hot tub. Adults were seen not following house rules drinking, and smoking in the spa. These actions showed the disrespect allowed on the property. The most disappointing finding was, however, the urinated items. We find it interesting that the guests found it necessary to take pictures before leaving unless it was an attempt to cover up damages. We have never had a guest that we have had to submit this type of claim. The cleaning team found three beds urinated on, four duvets/comforters, three sets of sheets, and two pillows. Unfortunately, comfortable beds and quality bedding is expensive. The cleaner reported a foul smell and submitted pictures. She said that the items were soaked. This guest was vague in her response when questioned about why there was so much urine found in the home. We were disappointed that the guest was not honest. Urine is yellow and foul smelling, a bloody nose is red, and our cleaners with 20 years of experience know the difference. We take pride in hosting guests and would not want guests to stay in an unclean home. Unfortunately, because of this incident, the following guest's experience was impacted.
