Charming Cape Cod Private Beach Cottage at the Bay!

Do you want to experience old Cape Cod on your own beach? Our cottage is one of three in a row on PRIVATE Springhill Beach. This cottage is the third one back, less than 100 steps to the private beach on the bay with no roads to cross. Our cottage is clean and comfortable and has had some remodeling but retains some of our family history with the old fashioned original windows and some of the original furnishings. There is so much to explore in Sandwich, the oldest town on the Cape. Or just lounge around all day and enjoy a beach fire at night. Social distancing is not a problem here!

Amazing beach cottage steps from the beach. The cottage was so cozy and perfect. The beach was breathtaking. We saw atleast 15 seals, many bunnies, and the sunsets were breathtaking. Jean was amazing. 5 stars!!

Peaceful private beach and just what we needed!

We had a wonderful week here in East Sandwich! We enjoyed the beach where often we were the only ones on and relaxed either at the cottage at night or ventured off. The area is very private, very quiet. The beach is a quick walk through a small path right from the cottage. I would recommend bringing water shoes for both adults and kids because there are areas on the beach where you will need them when heading down to the water. II also recommend wearing them in the water. Walking the beach in the morning is breathtaking. The stay was relaxing, peaceful and so enjoyable. We would definitely come back!

My husband and I are retired schoolteachers. We have 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren who all dearly love coming to our sweet cottage by the bay. We have all been coming since we were infants. We come now to just get away from the hustle and bustle of life. We overpacked clothes for many years but have now figured out all we really need to be sure we have are our swimsuits, some flips flops and a jacket in case it gets cool in the evening.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

You should rent this cottage if you want to truly experience the ambience of old Cape Cod. We have updated our cottage in many ways but also have tried to keep much of what reminds us of those who passed it on to us. It is clean, beachy and comfortable. It is just a place to get away and enjoy the peace and beauty. The beach is private for quite a way in both directions. The restaurants and sandwich shops in the town are amazing. There is much history to be discovered as well. Sandwich is the first town on the Cape so you do not have to fight a lot of traffic getting there. If you want to explore the entire Cape you can drive out to the tip at Provincetown in just over an hour. Each town along the way is beautiful and unique.

I don't really need to say more except PRIVATE BEACH! You will not have to fight for a spot on the beach or worry about parking. You are there! The only people allowed on the beach in both directions are the owners and their guests.
