For the beach lovers, we have you covered, this residence is less than 5 miles from the beach (4.5 miles), if fishing is your thing, Sebastian Inlet is just 15 minutes away. Beachside Vero Beach offers quaint boutiques for the shoppers and amazing restaurants for the foodies. This home I located 1 hour and 20 minutes from the beautiful city of West Palm Beach. Located just minutes from I-95 and the Florida Turnpike.

the home was large enough for my family of 12. It had plenty of room and served our purpose in that respect. The home is older and could use some upgrades. The listing says there is a hot tub but there isn't one.

Exceptional Home

Shonda and Travaris were absolutely “top-shelf” hosts. From first contact to final departure they ensured we had everything we needed. Now let me tell you, the home had everything you could imagine
lacked NOTHING. It was truly like being at home. We had a party of only 7 and everyone was bed-downed comfortably. Very nice location and within short distance to our weekend activities, to include beaches. Thank you Shonda and Travaris.

2025 Bass Fishing trip

Outstanding residence! The house was very clean spacious in a quiet neighborhood. The location of this property was perfect for the lakes that we were fishing and looking forward to renting it again in the future if we fish the same lakes.

The Perfect Place to Stay

Plenty of room in the house. Very Clean and Cozy. Communication with owners was quick and easy. There were no issues at all. I highly recommend this location for easy access to Vero Beach. Thanks for making us feel as if we were home.

Home for a Large Group

Behind Closed Doors is the perfect Vrbo for a large group. The house is extremely spacious with plenty of beds for you and your friends/family. The hosts are extremely responsive and kind. We look forward to coming back here many more times for our annual trip to Florida.

This house was very nice. Everything was clean and proper order. Well stocked with extras like coffee, spices, paper products. Easy entry and lightning fast responses from the Host.

Large house for family stay

The house is large, but very old and not updated. Handles falling off our bedroom door, burned out lights, peeling paint inside, dirty carpets, old sinks and tubs, kitchen faucet loose and falling off, old range and pots and pans. That said, the washer and dryer were new, the dishwasher worked. I could tell the housekeeper did his best to make it presentable before our arrival. Towels and sheets were clean. I’m surprised the house received rave reviews, based on our experience. However, everyone has different expectations.

Behind Closed Doors Review

Generally speaking, this property was solid. It was quite large, had room to sleep plenty of people, and was close to everything we needed during our trip. The only issues we had with the place was that the dishwasher did not work, there were not many trash bags left for us, and there appeared to be a little bit of a fruit fly issue in the kitchen. These are minimal issues and otherwise, the home was great and exactly what we were looking for.

Absolutely Perfect!

What an amazing house! This place is huge and had plenty of room for 9 of my family members! We were joking how we hadn’t all stayed under one roof since 1990 before my older brother went into the Navy. The rooms are very large and there were all the accommodations we ever needed. There was plenty of common area space for all of us to gather and catch up with one another. All of the amenities were perfect and what a nice surprise to find a couple of beach chairs my brother and I used to take to the beach! Shonda was extremely pleasant and responded almost immediately to any questions. I would recommend this place to anyone with a big family!

Just as beautiful as the pictures!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Shonda’s home. The home is just as beautiful as the pictures, it’s actually more beautiful in real! The home was very spacious, clean and accommodated my family of 7 adults, 1 teen and 1 infant very comfortably. This home has everything we needed for our family getaway and we loved and enjoyed the different spaces available as there are 2 large living areas downstairs , a large sun room upstairs and another sitting area upstairs, 5 very beautiful decorated rooms, 3.5 bathrooms and large driveway that accommodated our 3 vehicles. There was lots of amenities in this home such as a full kitchen with everything we need to cook and bake including many seasonings and cooking oil. There was also cleaning liquids, shampoos and body wash in every bathroom , lots of toilet rolls and bounty rolls in every bathroom. I was very impressed with everything that was provided as most vacation homes don’t come with anything. Communicating with the host was 1st class as she answered all my questions very quickly and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. There was also a co-host Travis, who also checked in with us to make sure we were having a great stay. I highly recommend this home as it has more than enough space, has a great host and is located 10-15 minutes from the beaches in Sebastian. We will definitely visit again, many thanks to Shonda and Travis for a helping us create great memories as we celebrated Father’s Day weekend with my husband and our sons! Thanks Natasha
