North Shore Lodge is an incredible home that you'll fall in love with before you even walk through the door. This storybook setting is on the Island Park Reservoir with an open view of the Old Hotel nestled at the foot of Mount Jefferson, Sawtelle, and the beautiful Centennial Mtn. Range. The panoramic views through continuous windows on the water's edge, make the window seats an absolute favorite. Enjoy the beautiful rock fireplaces, amazing woodwork, and obvious craftsmanship, along with the thick, soft carpet and beautiful tile floors throughout.
The Lodge has eight private bedrooms and eleven bathrooms. Each room has it's own personality and full size, deluxe bathroom. There are three shared bathrooms throughout the home. Large, beautiful open areas for group meetings, activities, and a theater room for movie night. Enjoy the luxury kitchen with all the high end amenities. There are two dining areas with eight swing chairs at the granite counter and amazing waterside views out every window. The downstairs card room has a walkout patio the the hot tub and water edge. The back deck also has an outdoor grill.

Great spacious place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great location and the place has a great layout for larger groups. Big gathering areas, but also lots of areas to get away and be alone if needed. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back.

A little bit of paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had thought we would plan some activities in Yellowstone but nobody wanted to leave. The dock access to the water was amazing and so convenient. The home was beautiful and very spacious. Lots of places for some quiet time but lots of gathering places.

Amazing home

Overwhelmed by the stunning beauty of this property both inside and out. Everything was to our liking with incredible spaces to relax and unwind after a long day touring the National Park. The owner was very accessible and easy to work with. The home is truly amazing in every way. We stayed with our friends (a party of 12) and we never felt crowded in anyway. The views of the reservoir and the mountains was extra special. We saw elk, prong horns, and moose in the neighborhood during our stay. We will always remember the great fun we had staying in Island Park. Thanks for sharing such an amazing home with us.

Maier,s take on Yellowstone

House was in the perfect location for all the activities we had planned for the week. Bedrooms all with own bathroom was great for getting ready for our days out on tour. House has plenty of room inside and out with great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Property manager was great and responded to any questions posed immediately. Only issue we had was folks in before us broke a toilet in one of the bedroom bathrooms and was not fixed during our stay but did not affect the couple staying in that room. Hot tub was also broken by the folks before us and would spout off like old faithful when turned on but it did get fixed and worked for the majority of our time there. Overall a great property and would recommend to a large group.

Island Park Family Retreat

Very nice house on the lake with a private boat dock. Lots of room for the entire family. We had a great time at the house. Great location near Yellowstone. A few minor amenities were not included that were expected for a high end rental. No soap or body wash in any of the showers. Very few covered storage containers in the kitchen for leftovers. Gate code had changed on first gate. Luckily another visitor pulled up when we were trying to get in for the first time and told us the new code. Overall a very nice place to visit and stay.

Not very honest

They used our week to have gardeners plant and welders work on the dock. They expected all lauhdry to be done but left no detergent. When we arrived the dryer had a comforter in it that we were later blamed for damage. The cleaning fee should go to us after all the work we did. This is a nice house, but managed by unscrupulous people. Beware

I apologize for the detergent being gone, that was an oversight on our part. You are only asked, to start a load of towels upon departure. Unfortunately, the comforter was damaged by a person in your party by putting it against the heater. We had to replace the heater vent and repair the wall from the smoke damage. We also had to replace the comforter, because of the hole burned into it. The claim was paid, so obviously, the documented proof was there. I understand that you are upset about these charges, but leaving a negative review and attacking our character seems unwarranted and unscrupulous on your part.

Just an awesome place

Coming from the east coast, seeing this lay of the land was breathtaking. The view never gets old and the night sky is as bright as I’ve seen. The house is perfect for groups. There are so many places to sit. Several gathering areas inside and out. The place was very clean and my favorite part was plenty of fridge and freezer space. I dont know when/if I will return to this area of the country but I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful house, right on the lake. We were a large group and the house gave us plenty of space to enjoy our stay. Gorgeous house, that is very well equipped to host a large family and friends get together. Hosts were super responsive, we needed to reach out a few times and always got quick response. Would highly recommend this house.

The house was beautiful. It has everything we needed.

This was a little farther from the West entrance than we thought it would be. It's a little hard to wash and dry the towels when you need to get to the airport for your flight. All in all we loved the beautiful home.
