Welcome to Campbell Cottage, a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath home offering the perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm. Tucked away in a quiet, private setting just a short walk from the beach, this inviting retreat comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and is ideal for families or friends looking to relax near the Gulf.

Inside, the home features a spacious open-concept kitchen and dining area, perfect for gathering over family meals or sharing stories after a day at the beach. A cozy sitting area provides a welcoming place to unwind with a book or enjoy your morning coffee. Step outside to the screened-in porch, furnished with comfortable seating and designed for relaxed evenings, conversations, and making lasting memories.

The sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully designed for comfort and flexibility. The primary bedroom features a king bed and a private bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, while the third bedroom is perfect for kids or additional guests, featuring two sets of twin bunk beds. A hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo serves the additional bedrooms.

For added convenience, Campbell Cottage includes a full-size washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, and smart TVs for streaming your favorite shows. Please note, this home does not include a golf cart.

Whether you’re planning a peaceful family vacation or a laid-back beach escape with friends, Campbell Cottage delivers cozy comfort, privacy, and an easy walk to the beach in a relaxed coastal setting.

You must be 25 or older to book this property. No smoking, no parties or events.
This home is dog-friendly, small dogs only. Limit two dogs. The following breeds are prohibited by the association by-laws: Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, or Pit Bull. To book a pet friendly property, you MUST call the office Monday-Friday between 9-5. YOU CANNOT BOOK A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY ONLINE.
Rules for renting with a dog:
-Your dog must be older than 9-months.
-Your dog must always remain on a leash when outside of the house.
-You must clean up after your dog.
-No excessive barking.
-Paid pet fee of $120 PER PET
Failure to follow these rules WILL result in immediate eviction of you or your dog, with no returned money.

Tucked away get-away

Great home! We enjoyed our stay. The beach was awesome and really close by. Had to text about the hot waster and the response was so quick..great customer service and problem was solved. Would recommend to friends and family.

It was relaxing

Overall it was clean, if i had to choose a negative the only one that comes to mind is be careful of fire ants in the driveway

Everything was clean and well kept. The property is close to the beach, I could walk to the beach, and a big plus for us was that we could took our dog there. The beach is also dog friendly.Sunset properties kept us updated on everything. They are very friendly and helpful. We extended our stay with 3 days. It’s a great place to stay.The yard needs some care.

We love this cottage!

Clean, Quiet, and Private

This house was really great; surrounded by natural vegetation that makes it a quiet and peaceful escape from the subdivisions. The beds were super comfortable, so were the couch and chair in the living room. We loved the screened in porch and watching the birds and other wildlife that visited the yard. The walk to the beach is approximately half a mile, but there is beach parking. The only negative is that we didn’t have hot water, (i.e. no hot/warm showers) and we weren’t able to resolve the issue during our stay. Despite that issue, we will definitely try to stay at this property again.

A cabin in the woods a short drive to a beach

I was extremely disappointed by my family’s stay at Campbell Cottage. From the beginning, there were several red flags. Communicating with the rental company was cumbersome. They refused to respond to VRBO messaging and had limited office hours. Several staff were unsure and unhelpful about the pet policy and its inclusion in the short-term rental agreement. After-hours staff was mildly helpful, but was not able to answer any questions fully or provide needed materials during our stay. Initial communication was lacking regarding beach access and required multiple rounds of communication to get answers. Upon check-in, the hot water heater was not functioning. Communicating with the afterhours staff did let us know that there is a control in the master bedroom that was functional. However, the hot water turned off shortly after starting to shower so was never consistent. It was apparent that these owners and the real estate company do not provide care to the lawn. The yard and landscaping was completely overgrown with hazardous materials in the yard, including rotten wood on the walkway, down trees, & dog poop in the yard. Access to the community is down a gravel, bumpy road that is poorly maintained. Beach access was towards the end of this road, but required a parking pass. We communicated with the real estate company a multitude of times and received no parking pass. On parking at the beach, we were issued warning citations by the beach patrol, which warned of potential booting or towing of our vehicles. The beach patrol employee noted that the owners of that property were problematic and refused to buy new beach parking passes. This issue was apparent, as an old citation was in one of the kitchen drawers. By Sunday afternoon, the afternoon before our departure, a pass was delivered. A two day turn-around on a pass that provides beach access seems lackluster at best of a “beach house.” Generally, the condo is as it appears in the photos online. Several of the bed sheets were stained, the bedframes creaked and were uncomfortable. Balls of hair were on the shower floor from the prior guests. The house was stocked with a partly used roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, a single trash bag, and a single roll of paper towels without any extras for use. Overall, this condo is a decent space but is obviously poorly cared for. I would NOT recommend renting this condo or using Sunset Properties for anyone looking for a calm or relaxing beach stay.

Great home to rent!

Everything was perfect! We had a small issue when we arrived and maintenance was there within 10 minutes to fix the problem. Lots of room for everyone. I made the screened porch a play area for my grand babies and they loved it. The golf cart was a life saver to get back and forth to the beach and to the store/restaurant. The outside shower is hidden and enclosed so we just left our shampoo and body wash outside for showers after the beach. Beach toys were available for the kids so we did not have to purchase and we left our umbrella for the next guest. Pack extra blankets for the bunk beds if you want something more than a fleece. Internet was on and off so it’s difficult to watch Netflix etc., but the house does have direct tv so all was good!
