Renovated cabin with a mix of old and new.

Only a couple of miles off Hwy 280, Point Pleasure (a play off our original lake place at the old Pleasure Point) is easily accessible for Auburn Football and only minutes from Alexander City. Enjoy our 1960’s renovated cabin with new beds, remodeled bath, new deck and dock. Great room and kitchen are open plan with a great view of the water.
300 feet of water and a natural area across the cove provides privacy and an awesome view. Stoke up a fire in the large fire pit, the perfect place for conversation.
Take a dip off the private dock or chill on the Lilly pad or hammock. We also provide kayaks, tube, cornhole, and a grilling area.

The most precious lake cabin on the most peaceful location. Barry was fantastic to communicate with and had everything prepared nicely for us. We had the most lovely and relaxing weekend!

We just loved your lake house! So cute and charming! The lake was beautiful and the perfect spot for a little kayaking, fishing, and swimming! This was probably the cleanest place inside and outside that we have stayed. Usually bugs and spiders/webs are abundant at the lake, but not here! We will definitely be back!

Relaxation!

The property was exactly as listed and then some! Spent the majority of our time swimming and relaxing on the dock. If you are looking for a place to relax with the family Lake Martin this is the place to do it.

This property has a outstanding view! You cant beat the view from the porch and boat dock! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating We hope to have a return visit in the future.

Perfect Lake Getaway

The cabin was awesome! We loved the new blended with the old. Awesome deep water dock located in a perfect cove. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely book again.

The Perfect Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful time!! The water and location is amazing! Very cute renovated home. Clean and comfortable! Deep water for swimming and boating. It is a very peaceful location. We loved the kayaks and lily pad too! We hope to stay again!!

Precious little cabin!

This cabin was just what we needed for an end of summer getaway! The living area was spacious, and the deck and dock were wonderful. Great hosts who supplied much more than most VRBOs do. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We hope to come back again soon!

Beautiful property and very quiet/peaceful. Even though it rained the entire time we were there we were able to relax and enjoy the property. Barry was very responsive and easy to communicate with. My family enjoyed the trip despite the uncontrollable weather!

Wonderful cabin & location

We were there for our daughter’s graduation from Auburn and it was a wonderful stay! Barry was very attentive and conscientious about making sure our stay was 100%. Love the openness, natural light and peacefulness of the cabin. Spices, towels, keurig coffee all provided. Location is perfect and the property feels very private! We will definitely be back. Thanks Barry for making our stay perfect.

Beautiful view and Perfect amenities

This lake house had everything we could have asked for and so much more. Wonderful wide open lake view from the living room, deck, or from the cozy fire-pit lounge area. The lot has plenty of shoreline and a nice dock for boating and swimming. The hosts were awesome too. We will definitely be back!

A little piece of heaven!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to have fun by the lake, this is the place! The house is perfect for a group of 6, very clean, and filled with games for indoor and outdoor fun. The view is breathtaking, from morning to night, for coffee on the deck or drinks by the fire pit. We only hope to come back soon!! We will rent a boat next time.

Excellent start to our summer

We had such a wonderful stay here. This remodeled cabin reminds me of the one my family owned when I was little. The place was clean and had so many nice touches. The view is gorgeous. We enjoyed sunny days and moonlit nights on the deck and on the dock. We safely paddleboarded and swam every day. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and plenty of towels were provided. Do not pass up this gem! We will be back!

Weekend golf/fishing getaway

Property was just as advertised. Recently renovated and clean! Beds were comfortable and cabin had plenty of seating. Deep water access at the dock, so boating was a breeze. Great location, as the best fishing is on the North end of the lake. Natural area across the lake was a big plus. Evening sits on the back deck over looked a scenic landscape, rather than a bunch of houses. The place is not for a big crowd, but everything you want for a small family or a couples getaway. Owner was knowledgable and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back.

Home away from home

The property itself is breathtaking Things we loved about the property - the fire pit, perfect for late night s’mores yum - the dock, great for tanning and jumping off of into swim level water - great location- close to wind creek state park, perfect for fishing, oskars, and peanut point - large open concept so the whole family can hang out while cooking - large windows and sliding glass doors to enjoy the view at all times - great lighting to enjoy outdoor area at night - a kitchen and bathroom equipped with everything you need !! They really consider everything you need - Spices, coffee, snacks, hygiene products extra towels and clean sheets Needless to say - we will be back !!! Also the owners were great with communication! Which made checking in super easy :)

Relaxing, inviting and overall amazing

Starting with the communication with the owner who is so awesome and helpful. This home is just what we needed! Boat slip is about 150 yards from the property which made loading and unloading super easy. Location is serene with beautiful deep water but very little boat traffic. House was perfect with huge open living areas and plenty of outside space for family. We used the flat grill, regular grill and the smoker! Kids used the kayaks and the floating island was great. Host is very helpful, polite and giving. If you’re a fisherman take some time to cruise around at night. There are several lighted docks that host a multitude of large fish which love live minnows that we were able to catch with a net off the dock. Can’t wait to come back!
