We are sorry to hear you were disappointed in your stay and have shared your feedback with our team. I see where our team reached out to you before check-in to advise you the previous guest had damaged the stairs and gain approval for that to be repaired. Our team noted that a different cleaning crew was sent to address these issues, but there was no evidence of a pet or pet hair when they recleaned the home. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope your family enjoyed some quality beach time despite these setbacks.

Hi, Wendall. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Coconut Crush and apologize for the challenges caused by the weather. We are very transparent in our contract and communication that we have rentals where extreme weather is a possibility and there are cancellation cut-off dates, so all of our guests are fully prepared. We also provide the option to add travel insurance through a third-party insurance company at the time of booking. Unfortunately, this is not a change that we can approve for our guests. Just as you have a binding contract with us, we also have a binding contract with the owners of each home that does not allow us to make changes beyond that 60-day mark. Our team will always go above and beyond where we are permitted, but the existing contracts tie our hands for cancellations and changes. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience.
