Walking distance to the lake, public boat ramp, kayaking, playground, campground, swimming area, hiking trail, picnic area, and covered pavilion for large groups…plus our incredibly equipped game room. 3 minute drive to Hurricane Marina with seasonal boat rentals and restaurant. House is roomy modern design w/2 king suites, 2 queen BRs, sitting area w/sleeper couch. Well furnished deck & screened porch for additional leisure. The sidewalks at each entry are surveilled by motion triggered security cameras.

We loved our stay! This host has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. The host communicated with me before and after to make sure we had everything we needed. It has a beautiful setting that overlooks the lake. Also, a brand new outdoor patio that is perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends or family. We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful home and amazing setting. Not only is the kitchen well equipped, but they provide many other useful items as well for both indoor and outdoor use. The home owner goes above and beyond your normal rental expectations. The home and the surroundings are super clean. It doesn't have a rental feel at all- more of a homey feel to it.We especially enjoyed the new outdoor cooking space. The home is conveniently located to good fishing areas, grocery store, restaurants, etc. We hope to visit Floating Mills again because it is the perfect family getaway!

Our third year staying at this property and we had another wonderful stay. Communication is wonderful, the home itself is always clean and has everything you could need for relaxing and enjoying the lake. We especially enjoyed the addition of new porch swings this year! Our family of 13 and our fur baby thoroughly enjoyed our spring break stay in this beautiful, newer-than-expected home. The camp ground was closed, so we had the water all to ourselves. We selected this property due to all of the amenities- kayaks, game room, hot tub and all of the beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms that comfortably accommodated our large family. Much time was spent over the ping pong table and we were also thrilled to find fishing gear that our son enjoyed- he caught two large bass!Our family has rented many large properties like this over the years for spring and fall breaks, but I would say this ranks in the top 2 for being the most well-equipped houses we’ve stayed in. They had everything we needed for cooking meals for our large family (which definitely hasn’t always been the case at other properties) as well as small, thoughtful toiletry items, extra supplies (trash bags, soap, laundry detergent, etc) that we’ve often found ourselves at previous properties running to Dollar General to purchase when we run out.It’s also one of the most pet friendly properties we’ve stayed at. The dog hooks located throughout the property, including the front lawn, made it so easy for our girl to join us for all of the fun. The new grill/fire pit area is beautiful and excellently designed. We enjoyed it all!! The pictures don’t do this property justice! I highly recommend this quiet, relaxing property for your next family gathering. You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful home!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay with all the amenities you need. My family enjoyed our Christmas get together so much. Plenty of room for our large group and we would love to stay there again.

Quiet getaway with Beautiful view

Enjoyed the stay. Very nice large house and a friendly host. Definitely recommend it. With all mountains and lakes nearby it would be a best place to stay in summer and fall.

Great Spot for a Big Group

Great layout. Kitchen, dining room, and living room on the main floor, with a porch balcony and hot tub. First floor game room was great for the kids. Plenty of bedrooms, private space, and baths upstairs.

Perfect Labor Day Weekend

Perfect weekend getaway

This house was a great place to stay for the weekend. We had 12 people in the house and you couldn't tell it. Very spacious and plenty of room for everyone. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

This is it!!

We’ve stayed all over CHL and this has been our most favorite property yet!! Excellent beds, super convenient to the ramp, marina and water. Plus, there’s plenty of space and amenities at the house, both inside and out.

FAMILY RETREAT

This past weekend my family celebrate our Dad's 90 th birthday at this fabulous house. It was absolutely perfect. Truely a five star experience. The owner Jason was very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this house for a great gettaway!

Hot tub, table tennis, air hockey, casino style card/craps table, video game console with 3200+ classic arcade titles, board games, corn hole, and kayaks are all on the property and available for your exclusive use. As well, you'll find picnic tables, boat dock, playground, lake beach, hiking trails, group pavilion, and more at the adjacent public park. Within a five minute drive, Hurricane Marina offers a restaurant (seasonal operation) with great food and boat rentals if you reserve early.
