Nice quiet property, owners were amazing to work with and had a lot of options for things to do. The house is large and has lots of room for everything, a lot of bathrooms and hot water for everyone. Swimming is just a short walk from house. We did our fantasy draft and had plenty of room with 10 guys. Plenty of room for multiple cornhole boards as well. Highly recommend this property.

Can't beat the location, the lake was a simple left turn within walking distance. The house is designed for vacations & family in mind. Waterfun, boardgames, corn hole, fire pit, extras galore. Space wasnt an issue as the home is roomy , providing several entertaining spaces. It was clean and inviting , and the host were top notch in their response time. I will say we ran into one issue but it was resolved. We would come back with no hesitation.

Lake Escape. You all hit it out of the ballpark with how accommodating your home is. So well stocked with everything. Lots of extras for games, entertainment, and just feeling like home, but in a resort setting. Great sleeping and bathroom accommodations. Superbly stocked kitchen. Loved the large dining table that seated our entire family of 16. Beautiful outdoor spaces with two large back porches. Great place. As advertised, but better. Thanks for a great stay.

Great getaway

Rocky and Michelle are great hosts and added many personal touches. The location was quiet and relaxing. There are plenty of places to have your own space, indoors or out. Also nice gathering areas for meals and fellowship.

Outstanding hosts!

This is hands down the nicest home this group of friends has stayed in on our annual nature time/game playing/ and relaxing focused girls trip. The spaces throughout the inside and outside of the house are warm and comfortable. But, the owners’ hospitality really takes this a step above. There were lovely, welcoming touches everywhere from coffee and tea to snacks to seasonal decor and excellent communication! Just a wonderful weekend!

Lake House Stay

Medium size group of friends and family stayed at the lake house this place is awesome a little scary coming in at night at end of road it’s steep at the drive lol but it was so much fun! We love this place the hose was perfect for our group so may place to gather and do your own thing. The hot tub was awesome and the decks were great!!! We went down to the lake a couple of time it’s beautiful down there pretty steep so definitely drive unless your in good shape😁. There are a lot of things to do around the area we went to Nashville mainly but did venture out to sight see and shop. Highly recommend this VRBO it is very well stocked and clean. Thank you for opening your home to all of us!

The best lakehouse experience ever!

The lakehouse was so enjoyable to us! We all had plenty of space to relax! The kitchen was so well stocked and served our love of nourishing our family the way we like to do! We enjoyed the grill and many other appliances! The hot tub was soothing outdoors and beautiful trees just capped off the experience! The sauna was enjoyed daily by several! The accommodations were above and beyond with King size beds so comfortable everyone slept well! The grandkids were entertained by all the amenities! The game room had plenty of fun activities for a wide range of ages! All the fireplaces kept us comforted and relaxed! The firepits on the decks and in the outdoor area were enjoyed by all! The s’mores and waffle accommodations were fun and festive! We rented a pontoon boat and actually were sent a pic of us on it by the lakehouse owners! We loved keeping in communication with them! They love lakes and lakehouse and family time like we do! They were incredibly helpful and accommodating to us! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return! It was by far the best experience most enjoyable hospitable vacation our family has soaked up the lakehouse life!!!

Beautiful Home!

We stayed here for our annual friend-cation and loved it! Michelle and Rocky were VERY responsive and answered any and all questions I had. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with spices and cooking supplies (and clearly labeled). My only warning for others who might make the same mistake I did and not read the posting well enough (this is NOT a reflection of the hosts/property) is that this house does not have direct access to the lake from the yard. You do have to go down a short road to get to a gravel court with access to put a boat/kayaks in the water. The house is at the end of the court, but the road to get down to the lake is very, very steep. We were able to still go down to the court and hang out and be in the lake, but this is definitely more of a house for people with a boat or strictly in the water activities only, not people who want to be able to lounge by the lake. With that being said, this house still gets a 5 star review in my book. The sauna was a nice touch and all of the outdoor spaces to hang out were perfect!

We purchased "Lake Escape" Vacation House, after spending almost every weekend for years, on our houseboat located on CHL. Rock'n Sunshine rentals have attempted to make our home experience mimic one similar to staying at your grandparents and/or favorite aunt/uncle's home. We ourselves are a blended family, with five grown children (& spouses) and 26 grandchildren, who love spending time at the lake!

We have attempted to make our home experience mimic one similar to staying at your grandparents, and/or your favorite aunt or uncles home. We ourselves are a blended family with five grown children (& spouses) and grandchildren,who love spending time at the lake.

Center Hill Lake, is an hour east of Nashville. Located in beautiful Smithville, at the foothills of East Tennessee, you will love the privacy, waterfalls and views of one of the best lakes in Tennessee. Just a short drive away from Nashville, Cookeville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. There are many destinations to hike, canoe, kayak, boat, wake surf, shop and visit state parks, just minutes away from Lake Escape. Additionally, there are nine super quaint wineries and/or breweries in the upper Cumberland area, most of which are a short drive away.

There is room for everyone at Lake Escape!! We sleep 17 people comfortably in FIVE KING size beds, and three queen sleeper sofas (extra thick mattresses), and one XL twin (located in First Mate's Retreat). We have made this home a reflection of our lives growing up on the lake, every piece of decor has a story behind it. We made it a priority to have a dining table big enough for everyone to eat at, because we believe the most meaningful times are spent around the dinner table, talking to family and playing card games. Making memories to last a lifetime! (We also provide some lake supply rentals, please ask us about inventory & pricing)

Only steps down to the water! We provide four kayaks and life jackets for your use. Beach area to lake, below house. Boat ramp for small fishing boats and jet skis beside home. Launch your boat at Pate's Ford Marina (Home of WAKEFEST) just five minutes down the road, and grab dinner at Fishlipz while watching bands from Nashville perform!

Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee.
