We took our church youth group to the house and it worked our perfectly. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked. All of our needs were met. Our group was even welcomed with a goodie basket of treats, which the kids LOVED. Thank you for a wonderful time spent with our youth.

My daughter had a boat wedding this past weekend and Michelle and Rocky went above and beyond for our family. They decorated the front yard with big “Congrats” letters and had a camera roll playing on the small frame-style TV inside. Such a thoughtful touch. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Plenty of room for the whole family and tons of extra fun things to do — pool tables, video games, TVs everywhere, and a jacuzzi etc. One of the best stays we’ve ever had, if not the best. Thank you, Michelle and Rocky, for making a special time in our lives even more special. Highly recommend!

This trip will definitely go down as one of the best family experiences ever. My Grandkids are still talking about it and asking when we were going back. You won’t find better host that go above and beyond. Making Pizzas on the outdoor oven, Karaoke, Air Hockey, Several Games,Hot tub, Pontoon, Kayaks, and singing by the fire are some of the highlights they enjoyed. We will be back for sure if it’s available.

Steve, this just absolutely made our hearts HAPPY! ❤️ Knowing that this trip will go down as one of your family’s best experiences—and that your grandkids are STILL talking about it and asking when they can come back—means more to us than you know! Those are the memories we dreamed of when we created Lake Escape. 🥰 The pizzas, karaoke, games, hot tub, pontoon rides, kayaking, and especially those evenings singing around the fire… THAT is exactly what we want families to experience here. Thank you for trusting us with such special family time and for your incredibly kind words about us as hosts. We truly love going above and beyond to make our guests’ stays memorable. We absolutely hope you’ll be back—and we would LOVE to have your family back at Lake Escape! ❤️🏡🌊 Safe travels, Michelle & Rocky

We had a great stay! The beds, pillows, and towels were comfy and clean, and the house was very well equipped. It was probably the most stocked up house we have rented. They included extras like nail files, extra tooth brushes, laundry and dishwasher pods, plenty of quality toilet paper and paper towels, and extra trash bags to name a few! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The little beach area down the hill was perfect. We rented the owner’s boat and could drop off and pick up people in our party from the beach area. The owners were very responsive and answered all my questions. We would stay here again.

Megan, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! ❤️ We are absolutely thrilled that you and your group had such a wonderful stay at Lake Escape. It makes us especially happy to hear that you noticed all the little extras we provide. We put a lot of thought into stocking the house because we want our guests to feel like they’re staying in a home—not just a rental—and hopefully have everything they need without having to run to the store. 🥰 We’re so glad everyone enjoyed the hot tub and that the little beach area worked so well for your group, especially with the boat! Being able to enjoy the lake right from the house is one of our favorite parts of Lake Escape. 🌊☀️ Thank you also for mentioning our responsiveness. We truly want our guests to feel taken care of from the moment they book until they head home. It was a pleasure having you, Megan, and we would absolutely LOVE to welcome you back to Lake Escape anytime! ❤️🏡 Godspeed & safe travels, Michelle & Rocky

Swimming is just a short walk from house. We did our fantasy draft and had plenty of room with 10 guys. Plenty of room for multiple cornhole boards as well. Highly recommend this property.

Can't beat the location, the lake was a simple left turn within walking distance. The house is designed for vacations & family in mind. Waterfun, boardgames, corn hole, fire pit, extras galore. Space wasnt an issue as the home is roomy , providing several entertaining spaces. It was clean and inviting , and the host were top notch in their response time. I will say we ran into one issue but it was resolved. We would come back with no hesitation.

This is hands down the nicest home this group of friends has stayed in on our annual nature time/game playing/ and relaxing focused girls trip. The spaces throughout the inside and outside of the house are warm and comfortable. But, the owners’ hospitality really takes this a step above. Lake Escape

Lake Escape. You all hit it out of the ballpark with how accommodating your home is. So well stocked with everything. Lots of extras for games, entertainment, and just feeling like home, but in a resort setting. Great sleeping and bathroom accommodations. Superbly stocked kitchen. Loved the large dining table that seated our entire family of 16. Beautiful outdoor spaces with two large back porches. Great place. As advertised, but better. Thanks for a great stay.

Lake House Stay

Medium size group of friends and family stayed at the lake house this place is awesome a little scary coming in at night at end of road it’s steep at the drive lol but it was so much fun! We love this place the hose was perfect for our group so may place to gather and do your own thing. The hot tub was awesome and the decks were great!!! We went down to the lake a couple of time it’s beautiful down there pretty steep so definitely drive unless your in good shape😁. There are a lot of things to do around the area we went to Nashville mainly but did venture out to sight see and shop. Highly recommend this VRBO it is very well stocked and clean. The best lakehouse experience ever!

The lakehouse was so enjoyable to us! We all had plenty of space to relax! The kitchen was so well stocked and served our love of nourishing our family the way we like to do! We enjoyed the grill and many other appliances! The hot tub was soothing outdoors and beautiful trees just capped off the experience! The sauna was enjoyed daily by several! The accommodations were above and beyond with King size beds so comfortable everyone slept well! The grandkids were entertained by all the amenities! The game room had plenty of fun activities for a wide range of ages! All the fireplaces kept us comforted and relaxed! The firepits on the decks and in the outdoor area were enjoyed by all! The s’mores and waffle accommodations were fun and festive! We rented a pontoon boat and actually were sent a pic of us on it by the lakehouse owners! We loved keeping in communication with them! They love lakes and lakehouse and family time like we do! They were incredibly helpful and accommodating to us! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return! It was by far the best experience most enjoyable hospitable vacation our family has soaked up the lakehouse life!!!

The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with spices and cooking supplies (and clearly labeled). My only warning for others who might make the same mistake I did and not read the posting well enough (this is NOT a reflection of the hosts/property) is that this house does not have direct access to the lake from the yard. You do have to go down a short road to get to a gravel court with access to put a boat/kayaks in the water. The house is at the end of the court, but the road to get down to the lake is very, very steep. We were able to still go down to the court and hang out and be in the lake, but this is definitely more of a house for people with a boat or strictly in the water activities only, not people who want to be able to lounge by the lake. With that being said, this house still gets a 5 star review in my book. The sauna was a nice touch and all of the outdoor spaces to hang out were perfect!

Thank you so much for choosing our home for your annual friend-cation! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the sauna, outdoor spaces, and well-stocked kitchen, and that our communication helped make your stay smooth. We appreciate your note about lake access—it’s true the road is steep, and we always want guests to know exactly what to expect. Grateful for your kind words and 5⭐️ review—we’d love to host you again anytime!

We purchased "Lake Escape" Vacation House, after spending almost every weekend for years, on our houseboat located on CHL. Rock'n Sunshine rentals have attempted to make our home experience mimic one similar to staying at your grandparents and/or favorite aunt/uncle's home. We ourselves are a blended family, with five grown children (& spouses) and 26 grandchildren, who love spending time at the lake!
