The only real problem I had with this property was the kitchen. The refrigerator was great, but the cooktop and ovens were subpar at best. On the cooktop only one burner worked well. My other critique was get rid of the deck flower boxes with weeds. They block the lake view, which is why you are there!

Our family of 9 enjoyed this lakefront home for the Labor Day Weekend where we enjoyed boating, fishing, sunrises & sunsets and the most amazing view of this beautiful lake. The hosts were very responsive, the amenities were excellent. I highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The check in process was seamless. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and also some spices we did not expect but were glad to have on hand. The outdoor space was delightfully peaceful. The only draw back was not enough water devices to accommodate our family enjoying the lake together.

Relaxing Getaway on a Gorgeous Lake

It was an awesome, open house with lots of space on a really fabulous plot of land right on the lake - beautiful views and a perfect little private beach too! Our friends and family absolutely loved this house. The nearby town is great too! Dan & Tara were excellent hosts, so responsive, warm and helpful. Highly recommend!

40th Weekend Getaway

The perfect little getaway for friends to unwind and enjoy the end of summer. House was the perfect location, exactly as pictured, incredibly clean and basically had every basic amenity needed while staying away from home. Owners were very responsive and accomodable to any questions/requests I had. Would definitely stay here again!!

Awesome owners!

We stayed during my son’s West Point Graduation weekend and had a wonderful time! Just two days prior to check-in the backyard was hit by a freak microburst tornado so many of their beautiful trees had felled making the backyard a bit unusable but the owners were so communicative and forthcoming…we still were able to use the dock and lake to float and swim in and the story just peppered our weekend with even more to remember !! Would 100% recommend this home and especially these owners to do business with.

Great spot for winter skiing // we’d come back for summer

Very comfortable / clean house. Beautiful spot on the lake. Easy access to Mt Peter. My wife and kids enjoyed our time with another family. We’d come back for a summer stay.

As advertised, really nice house on beautiful lake

We had a terrific time. Very nice home and amenities, all as advertised. Huge TV in living room for us to watch football games. Only one minor issue: a friend from Boston brought live lobsters from Gloucester to put on the grill, and when we got there tank in grill seemed low and back up was empty, so we went out and switched out the empty, just to make sure we had didn't run out mid cooking. Communication with owners was excellent ahead of trip and upon arrival. We had a great time, highly recommend.

Great Space!

We stayed for a week in August 2023 and had a wonderful time. This is the perfect, comfortable lake house where you feel like you can relax. It’s lived-in and livable. It’s not so precious that you feel like you’re walking on eggshells. There is enough space to spread out with the large living room with the lake view and the downstairs game/tv room. We caught fish off the dock, had a fire pit and used the kayak almost every day.

Great House

The inside is very clean and updated. It was well stocked with appliances and kitchenware. Private Beach, easy to launch kayaks or go swimming. Nice dock capable of docking a boat. Houses on the inlet have algae and seaweed so you can't swim at those houses. This house didn't have this issue. Plenty of Parking. Please note that it only has 3 rooms with privacy. One room has a sheet dividing a second room so limited privacy. Overall, a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone. There are improvements that can be done to make it better. Put a wall between the two rooms so have 4 private rooms. AC and ceiling fans downstairs. Many insects outside at night so could use pest control to make it more usable at night. Remove trees in the middle so you have a clear view of lake. Fix steps down to the lake to make it safer. A place that is flat for a firepit.

Great Time Was Had!

Very roomy house, we loved the basement set up. We had a few rainy nights and we were able to hang out down there. We played pool, competed on the pac man machine and played video games on the large screen television. We were 8 people and there was plenty of space. House was well stocked with towels, blankets and kitchen items. The path to and from the dock would be challenging for young children and older people. The kayaks and fire pit are a great addition to the house!

Outstanding

We had a fantastic time at this Greenwood lake home. So many great things were available to us including kayaks, swimming of the dock, the spa and a small Sandy beach. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and two kids. Three bathrooms worked really well. Nearby we hiked, went to breweries, rented a boat all within 10 min. We are talking about going back next year. The only reason I gave website description a 4 is that I didn’t see where the two basement bedrooms were only separated by a curtain. If you are wavering. GO. You will be happy you did.

Heaven

This has taken me a few days to write. There are no words that can really describe this home other than PERFECT! My family and I had the most incredible time. If you can think of a home that would have anything a family can imagine this was it! From the games, beach and lake what more can you ask for. We planned one day out and the kids couldn’t wait to get back to the house. The homeowners were on top of everything just a call/text away. The house was well stocked from toiletries, condiments, bedding, life jackets, towels, games and more. I have rented homes before and this home was my favorite it surpassed every expectation! We can’t wait till next year to visit heaven again!

Stunning views

Great experience in this home! Location is water front which provides stunning views! Vaulted living room with huge windows/sky lights was by far our FAVORITE room with the most gorgeous views of the lake! Four full baths on the property which was so nice as well as laundry on main floor. House was clean and well equipped. Lots of little touches - comfy throws, board games! Direct water access with private dock and small beach area. Lots of safety vests provided and easy to rent boat/water gear from lake rental companies. Game room with pool table for adults and Pac-Man for kids! Huge TVs which the kids appreciated. Please note that one bedroom/bath is a private “apt” that is accessed separately from the main house. The entry is right off the main porch and right next to front door. Would be a nice “suite” for people wanting a bit of privacy. Downstairs master suite has king size bed and doorway into second room has full size bed but no true wall of separation - just curtains in the doorway for privacy so again just note - would be good room for parents with small kids. Main floor has gorgeous bedroom with fantastic views of the lake. Also plenty of parking which is rare for a Greenwood lake rental! Overall beautiful home would highly recommend. Our kids are already asking about going back! Hoping to come back soon!!!
