The place was as described, our family of 5 fit very comfortably, and it had some nice extra touches that we appreciated. The location was close to DSM airport and the host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again and recommend to groups/families of 4-8 people looking for a great stay near Des Moines

The home was clean with everything we needed for our stay. We participated in the Senior National Games and the home was close to all venues and lots of restaurants and attractions.

Our stay was good overall, when we arrived we didn’t have any handsoap or detergent and internet password was confusing, but Sully one of the owners responded very quickly and brought some supplies over to us. The internet password was confusing but we finally figured it out! House was very nicely decorated and comfortable inside and clean. There is a whole house air freshener that makes the house smell good but it was a little strong. And for sensitive people it would be overwhelming.The landscaping needed some attention on the outside for a first impressions standpoint. Also the patio had not been cleaned in a long time and had dead leaves all over the deck and the grill was empty on gas but Sully took care of that also quickly! The neighbor's were very nice when a package got delivered to their house we were expecting they brought it over and were so nice! The neigborhood is a little older and has many houses that are not kept up very nicely. This house is centrally located to airport and downtown. We were in for a National girls softball tournament and we were 15-20 minutes away from most of the larger parks! holiday, Triumph and HyVee fields We enjoyed our stay and would maybe book again if ever in Des Moines!

Perfect house for 7 person vacation

Beautiful house in a nice neighborhood. The home was clean and was fully stocked with towels and clean bedding. The property owners were polite and accommodating for the duration of our stay. The beds were especially comfortable after a long motorcycle ride across country. We thoroughly e joyed our stay and would stay at this property again when we return to Des Moines.

Great stay

Overall our stay at this property was great! There was plenty of space for my family of 6 other than the kitchen seating area, but we knew that beforehand based on the listing pictures. The AC kept the place nice and cool which was a necessity in the summer heat! Plenty of dinnerware and cooking utensils. We had a great stay!

Our stay at the Sullivan was wonderful. The neighborhood left a little to be desired on lawn upkeep, but was otherwise fine and in a safe part of town.

Yes to the Dress and this Property

This modern boho inspired property was perfect for a wedding dress shopping weekend. The bridesmaids who joined in the experience were coming in from other states and across Iowa. Meeting there we had several vehicles which the driveway easily accommodated. The property was very, very clean and provided plenty of sleeping and bathroom space. Kitchen worked well for what we used it for, take out, prepared food we brought, and morning coffee/tea. Neighborhood is very quiet and we felt completely safe. Hosts were very responsive to questions. I recommend and would rent this home again.

Nice home - all we needed

We stayed at this home for a holiday weekend with family from multiple places. We made good use of the living rooms both upstairs and downstairs. Beds were comfortable. Seems like a lot of things in the home were new with nice designing. Showers were great. Enjoyed the comfortable chairs on the deck in the evenings. We were a short drive from lots of activities downtown and took advantage. Owner was very attentive to our questions. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Our names are Bopha (pronounced bƍ pa) & Sully and we are so excited to have you as our guest(s). We have been married for 15 years with four children, Sullivan, Maxwell, Campbell and Valentina. We named this property after our firstborn, Sullivan.

As a family we love to travel and be inspired from the people we meet and the places we go. We love to garden, renovate homes, and create spaces for others to enjoy.

We both are the youngest of 8 children with many nieces and nephews. We are the family’s main host/hostess on both sides of our families and we enjoy it so much!

Hosting our properties that we’ve renovated and designed for others only made sense. We are so honored you chose our home for your visit to Des Moines.
