Our stay was incredibly peaceful and refreshing! The interior design was well appointed. The home was immaculate. It was apparent that the amenities were well thought out by the host. Additionally, the host provided detailed information about the property and was available to answer any questions we had.

Really enjoyed our time at this house. The view from the back porch was to die, the house was beautifully furnished and decorated. We will probably stay here again next time we are in the Hampton area.

Our son flew in from Nashville and our daughter flew in from Pittsburgh to meet us in Norfolk. This property is in Hampton just minutes from Buckroe Beach. It’s a great beach with lifeguards on duty till 6:00. This is the nicest house in the neighborhood and was just perfect for us.

Our family enjoyed our weekend retreat overlooking the water. The property was beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. The host was wonderful to work with providing extras in the home for our enjoyment. Looking forward to returning again soon!

The property is beautiful and quiet

We enjoyed our time together at this lovely property. It was clean, comfortable, and provided a beautiful setting for our family to connect and create memories. There were a couple of misunderstandings during our stay, but they were resolved. One challenge for us was the restriction of no more than four cars in the driveway, which was difficult with a family our size. While we had a wonderful visit, this particular property may not be the best fit for us in the future.

I can't say enough about this BEAUTIFUL home, so I'll just say we throughly enjoyed our stay here! I can't think of anything more Michelle could've done to make our stay any better. It was more than i expected and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful spot to call "home". 😊 10 stars from me and i would not hesitate to return for another stay. Graduation weekend stay

Property was absolutely awesome. Everything was 1st class. Was a wonderful weekend. We got to relax and enjoy near the beach,no noise and family all got to stay together to celebrate a life milestone for my college graduate in ONE location 2 miles from the university. I wish i could take this prperty with me everywhere i go on vacation. That's how good and memorable this awesome stay was for us. 5 HUGE STARS!!! WELL DONE, GREAT ACCOMMODATIONS!!!

Hampton University Graduation/Mother’s Day

I am searching for words to describe our experience…amazing, wonderful, spectacular. Everything about this property is special! We celebrated our son’s graduation as well as Mother’s Day and there is nothing more I could have wanted or asked for. The host provided the best of everything. Her attention to detail is impeccable. It was the icing on the cake for our special event, we all wished we could stay longer. This was my first vrbo rental, however, those in attendance who have rented places elsewhere were captivated. The location was perfect, we were close to the University but still able to see the bay from the property. I would recommend BFA a thousand times💕

Absolutely Amazing

I was taken back. This property was beyond amazing. From the beautiful views to the comfortable beds to the amazing kitchen. I spent my evenings on the top deck relaxing.❤❤❤ The pictures were nice, the reality was overwhelmingly past our expectations. There isn't an amenity that wasn't available. Our host was on point within minutes for any questions I had. My older parents are HARD to please as they are set in their ways. They both fell in love and mom even wanted to extend our stay. I will absolutely be in contact for future visits.

Perfect for your next work retreat!

I booked this location for a work retreat and planning session for myself and three team members. Our first impression walking through the house was WOW! The house was breathtaking and laid out perfectly, from charging stations connected to every piece of furniture; to a long center table that seats 8-9 people for group work sessions; to four different sections on the main floor that was used for breakout sessions. Everything we needed was right there at our fingertips. The accommodations were top-notch and included bathrobes, face masks, and socks at the entrance for guests to feel comfortable right when they entered the house. Lastly, the views are spectacular! Waking up every morning to the sun reflecting off the water or ending the day on deck, this house was the perfect setting to work, relax, connect, and recharge. We’ll be back…SOON!

Falsely advertised

The home was very nice and clean booked it paid over $2600 was listed as a three bedroom not tire had a bed set up in Master closet bs. When we checked in the host had a list of charges one was additional &160 to use outdoor grill. Home has a boat dock there was no mention of a charge on listing we were contacted asking for additional $500 to dock our boat more bs. This host is a scammer. Would not deal with her again.

Great Place

My wife and I stayed 9/17 - 9/24 of 2022. The house is fantastic, is in a quiet location, with easy driving access to downtown and the surrounding areas. Michelle was great, helpful, and easy to communicate with. She provided many complimentary snacks, bottled water, etc. This place certainly earns a 5.0-star rating in all aspects. Beautiful place to relax

Gorgeous place to just get away and relax. Quiet neighborhood but close to shopping, restaurants and things to do. We loved the fully stocked kitchen, the wonderfully soft linens--they've thought of everything here. Super responsive to any questions and requests. We plan to return!

OMG!! This is the Best kept Secret near the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area.....with an hour less drive and everything imaginable...From the spacious beautifully decorated private house(equipped with everything) and lot.... to the walk out dock equipped with benches , grill and view of the Salt Pond Marina. The Beach is walkable and we loved the water at "BuckRoe" Beach because it looked the same color as the ocean without the rough waves..Perfect for kids just learning to swim. We especially loved the beautiful sunrise and the ability to see water from every aspect of the house and great hang out "DECKS". Cant say enough about this venue....the kitchen is so amazing you will just want to cook and Cozy Up.....IT WAS THE PERFECT PLACE TO UNWIND"
