Perfect location for a weekend at the beach! The house is great with spacious rooms and a very large family kitchen and living area! We especially enjoyed having primary suites on the third and first floors!

Beautiful property steps from the beach with fantastic views from the second and third floor. A well equipped and spacious kitchen with lots of room to gather. Lots of nearby businesses and activities. Probably not a great choice if you’re traveling with elderly or disabled family members as the main living area is on the second floor and most bedrooms on the third. That said, it’s pet friendly and has a nice little fenced yard. We loved our stay and would definitely book again

Beach trip fun

The property was perfect for our group of 7. Plenty of space and beds. The house rental came with everything we needed including linens, towels, beach towels and 4 beach chairs and a few sand toys. Great kitchen. Only detractor was the construction of a house on the lot in front of the house but it wasn’t really much of an issue as we were on the beach most of the time. We loved it. Very calm bay water so felt very safe.

Pet friendly beach access

House was clean and roomy, and ample parking for four cars was a big plus! The rental was very accommodating for our older dog. We were close to family in both Norfolk and VA Beach with this location. The house is right next to the beach access which meant at times that there was a significant amount of noise and marijuana smell from the people heading to the beach or leaving. There is a new house going up in front of this one which partially obstructed the view of the ocean, but the construction was not too noisy when we were there and the view was still fantastic- we really enjoyed sitting out on the decks! No complaints at all about the house itself, just more the trade offs of having the beach access so close.

Nice big house on the water

Our party of 6 really enjoyed our stay at this house, ages 4-78. It was extremely spacious, with great views of the beach. The location is convenient to everything in the area and we loved being just a few steps from a great walking beach. The beds were fine and all the furniture was comfortable.

Our family had a wonderful time in this spacious house, which is just a few steps from the beach. We would definitely stay there again.

Underwhelmed

Home is in a convenient to get to area. Dealing with the Property Manager was lovely. She was extremely helpful. Very pleasant. Anything I needed. She responded very quickly. There were nasty stains in the master bedroom. You don't have to find addressed it quickly replaced all the bedding. Kitchen is not appointed very well knives are bent to where you can't use them. There was not a can opener silly, but they supplied one very quickly. The items left to use for cooking for not good. The house seems to have been decorated from Goodwill scraps of things pieces of things things that are mismatched and very worn and rickety was very disappointing. All the barstools are rickety the Adirondack chairs in the back are not blue there would but they were also rickety. There was a chimney left. It's broken. You can't use it constantly had a funky smell like musty smell Each person in a room was left one towel and one washrag so if you're staying more than a couple days, you're going to have to do laundry Plenty of room for everybody to sleep the beds again kind of rickety, but it was spacious great view from over the Sand dune. It's not on the water but it's a cross a lot that is not built yet so you can see the ocean that was really nice. The saving grace of this house is Property Manager. She should definitely get a raise. She was just fantastic. I left behind some items. Some were returned to me Some were not returned to me

Peaceful

We picked this town because it seemed quieter than other beach locations. It was wonderful to be on a non crowded beach. We were able to chat, read and relax. The house also allowed us to spread out when needed then regroup as a family. Clean and well laid out.

Wonderful family vacation!

We truly enjoyed this vacation home! It is a great place for families to gather and enjoy the ocean views and peaceful beach time! It is an easy walk to the beach even for our older family members and we always had room to set up our chairs and umbrellas. We did some great morning and night fishing at the beach and caught a huge variety of fish! This home is close to grocery stores, coffee, amazing local restaurant's and an incredible fishing pier. Virginia Beach boardwalk is an easy 30 minute drive for shopping and even more restaurants. The house was perfect for everyone and when we weren’t at the beach- we enjoyed family meals, coffee or happy hours on the huge porch, and board games or tv inside. There is room for everyone! Truly a family vacation! House was so clean and accommodating with all the appliances needed and a really great charcoal grill for some home cooked meals. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Family Celebration of a Liberty Doctoral Graduation

Our family of 7 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and everything that we needed to enjoy our time there was provided. The house is indeed steps away from the sand with unobstructed views of the ocean. Eric was always very quick to respond to questions / requests and checked in on us to make sure that we were enjoying the house. I highly recommend staying here.

Cons - - debris in one of the beds - dried blood in the fridge from previous guests - coffee pot did not work - deck chair dry rotted (1) - temperamental ice marker - downstairs toilet leaked - VERY LOUD! (Road noise & public beach access) Pros - management was quick to respond to complaints and right the wrong - provided basic needs (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body wash, laundry soap, etc) - had beach chairs and toys for us to use - lots of space - two parking spots The house is located next to public beach access which is great and a hindrance at the same time. It was noisy all through the night with people coming and going at all hours. Beautiful views! Overall…would we stay here again? No

Sadly this home is a health and safety hazard.

The home is in a beautiful setting. Near the beach with great views. However, it is also a health and safety hazard and I cannot recommend it to anyone in good conscience. It is filthy, infested with bugs and mold, poorly maintained with electrical and mechanical issues. It has not been adequately cleaned in a long time. It is truly a shame, but look elsewhere.

Family Wedding in Norfolk

Awesome time had by all

The property was amazing! We had the best time at the ocean for a week. Host very responsive. Unbelievable from the cleanliness, set up of house, and location. The sun rises were gorgeous from the porch of while walking the beach. Worth the money and host was friendly and reasonable. Highly recommend!

Delightful beach House hosted a reunion

Our family of seven had more space than we needed! The lovely beach retreat and was only a block from the beach, and could be accessed without crossing a street. The view of the sunsets were gorgeous, the bathrooms were more than adequate, the bedrooms were plentiful and perfect for our big family. The huge kitchen was a chef’s fantasy. A week’s stay during high season in June was very spendy but was a fine time for 3 generations.
