A tranquil retreat awaits at this completely renovated 3BR/2BA cottage that sits on over 2 acres! Enjoy the privacy of this idyllic property that includes two seasonal streams, while being minutes from all South Asheville has to offer. Inside, an all-new chic, modern interior adds to the rentals charm.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate easy access to nearby hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, and more. Take a tour of the Biltmore Estate, book a tee time at The Omni Grove Park Inn golf course, or visit the shops and restaurants in downtown Asheville -- all a convenient drive from home.

LIVING AREA

A queen sofa bed and two chairs invite you to unwind in the living room. Settle in for a movie night on the smart TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

Indulge your inner chef in the modern kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances.

Nibble on appetizers at the kitchen bar that seats three. Bask in the glow of the gas fireplace while you dine at the table for six.

BED & BATH

This home sleeps 10 guests between two bedrooms, the loft, and a queen sofa bed in the living room.

Make yourself at home in the primary suite, equipped with a king bed, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

A queen bed and a TV await in the second bedroom.

Up a spiral staircase, the loft provides two full-size beds and a smart TV. The guest bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Take in the sights and sounds of nature from the comfort of your deck. Kick back in the Adirondack chairs and sip morning coffee. Fire up the gas grill for an afternoon cookout, then dine alfresco at the picnic table. In the evenings, stargaze around the wood-burning firepit.

Driveway parking for four vehicles. Two of the driveway parking spaces are covered.

Great spot
My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tranquility Now. It was spacious, well appointed, clean, nicely decorated. Perfect spot for our girls’ trip!

Excellent for Our Trip
My friends and I loved this little house, it was perfect for our weekend trip. Everything was clean and well appointed when we arrived. It's a bit out in the country, but since everything we wanted to visit was about 20 minutes away, it worked well for us. There are shops and restaurants about 5 minutes away. The third loft bedroom is accessed by a sprial staircase that is narrow, which wasn't an issue for us, but could be for those with less mobility or kids. I would highly recommend that access through the back door (which is the most accessible from the driveway) be with a code as well. Going around to the front door each time to get in was not ideal. This is a really nice rental, one of the best I've stayed in. Highly recommend.

Not perfect for sr citizens
House very clean and kitchen equipped well. Great location close to Biltmore and downtown. Porch and deck surrounding house great for sitting outdoors. Enjoyed gas fireplace on cold evenings. However, there were ants that occasionally came out of hiding. Some of our physically challenged ladies had a hard time using back steps with no hand rail. To go around house and use front steps with rail was not safe for seniors with unsure footing. There is no lighting on that side of house. Also, leaves covered the walk and slate steps at back and could be slippery. Seems no landscape upkeep considered. Bushes hang over walk as well as thorny hedge that easily pokes you as you pass. Lawn covered with leaves. Seems leaves could be blown off walk/slate walkway/lawn at least day of guest arrival. The beds are comfortable but too low for seniors to rise.

Nice modern cottage
Very nice, clean cottage that has been recently renovated. We lover the wrap-around deck, fireplace, and location. Beds were very comfortable.
