PLEASE NOTE:

Awesome property

Mountain star is an awesome property. We stayed there three nights while touring the Biltmore. Everything was clean and comfortable would highly recommend staying there

Wonderful home/location!!!

This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone with a small group, wanting to stay close to downtown Asheville. Hot tub was a plus!

Amazing!

The property was immaculate! Well decorated and the smallest detail had been thought of, meaning tissues in the house. The beds were comfortable and there were enough towels, which is a rarity! I cannot say enough great things about this property!!

Gorgeous comfy home

It was perfect for our needs, a ladies weekend getaway! Both bedrooms had a bathroom. The hot tub was nice and clean with a view of the peaceful woods. The kitchen was gorgeous and well appointed. Nice decor, comfy beds and furniture. Overall great home for a reasonable price, close to everything, including a really cool coffee shop and gift store a block away.

Great place to relax and recharge

Mountain Star was wonderful!! The house was just the right size and pretty well stocked. The location was great. Close enough to DT Asheville that a trip over did not take mire than 15 min. Neighborhood was quiet, so if you just want to relax in the hot tub, or watch TV, you won't be disturbed. Grocery store was close by to get essentials. Day Moon Coffee Bar is really close by if you prefer specialty coffee and freah baked treats! We would definitley stay at this property afain!!

Property was as described. It was cozy and extremely clean. The backyard was private which was great when enjoying the hit tub. Conveniently located to Downtown. If they could have visitor book that guests could notate favorite spots, activities, restaurants, or whatever, that could be cool. For those reading this, go to Highland Brewery. It’s so much more than expected. Perfect hosts and perfect spot for a getaway

House immaculate

This house was fantastic. The only issue we had was getting in the door to start with. The code the manager gave us for access, did not open the door until we had to call the emergency number, but they fixed it promptly.

Convenient location and comfortable accommodations

The location was very convenient and the accommodations were very nice. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. The properties are very close to each other with very little privacy so my teenage girls felt a little uncomfortable being in the hot tub with the neighbors also outside. Bring your own body soap or wash because neither bathroom had any. The property attracts a lot of birds to the front door and your car. The house itself was very clean but the door covered in bird droppings was a little off-putting. My car had to be thoroughly washed after a 3 night stay and I had it detailed the day before I headed there.

Hi Patricia, Thank you for your review. I just went by the home, and the bird was there. That's the craziest little bird I've ever seen! It fell in love with itself in the reflection in the front door window and will not leave! We tried covering the window where it couldn't see itself anymore, but apparently, it didn't work. I am so sorry. As for the hot tub, I'd like to let you know. The owner will be building a privacy fence for the hot tub soon. I'll let him know of your concerns. Thank you again for staying with us and we hope you come back soon!
