Experience peaceful Colorado 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, cozy contemporary A-frame chalet on wooded Ÿ acre. Rustic chic dĂ©cor, high speed internet, two large screen TVs, high end appliances, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, foosball table, BBQ and usb wall jacks. King, queen and two full beds sleep 6. Have coffee on the second-floor bedroom balcony with partial views of Pikes Peak. Enjoy family memories on the main floor wrap around deck providing a Colorado experience in a serene haven in the woods.

Walden North offers a rich outdoor experience with 4.5 mile of trails and 93 acres of open space for hiking, biking in one of Colorado’s most colorful settings, offering views of the Rock Mountains and Pikes Peak.

"Haven in the Woods" is Colorado living at its best. You can enjoy the dry climate, moderate temperatures, bright sunshine and fresh, clear mountain air. Only 9 miles from Top Golf and the outdoor Sunset amphitheater.

Excellent across the board

Great communications with Drew, wifi - high speed and solid. Every amenity from towels to tissues was top drawer and plentiful. Right down to the smallest details. Location is quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Nice deck and deck furniture make for a relaxing evening sitting with an adult beverage, listening to.....nothing. Highly recommended, 6 stars out of 5.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very nice home in the woods. The house was accurately described in the listing and had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. It was clean and well cared for and the hosts were proactive in providing the information we needed to check in and out. It is a great location and the neighborhood was quite and peaceful.

Great stay for family of 4 boys wanting an escape from the city

Our family from Texas really enjoyed our stay at Drew’s home. We were wanting to be near Colorado Springs so we could do the various activities in the vicinity and Drew’s home was a great location for this.We liked that it wasn’t too far north of Colorado Springs and still in the woods where my boys loved playing in. The home was very clean and well stocked with supplies. We slept comfortably in the beds and enjoyed using the fire pit and relaxing at night after being active during the day. Highly recommended!

Perfect!

Beautiful place to stay and so peaceful. Drew was super helpful with helping out of places nearby for shopping, as it was my first time to Colorado and had no clue as to where anything was. Definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

Lovely CLEAN home with all the amenities one would want! Location is great, 10 minutes to restaurants, stores and such, 45 minutes or less to all the standard tourist spots around Colorado Springs. Drew responded quickly to our texts, great host!

Wonderful Get- Away

We had a wonderful time. The home was in a beautiful setting with pine trees. We loved sitting around the fire table. The home was well equipped with kitchen supplies . The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the hammock. The host was quick to respond to our questions. We loved our stay there.

Perfect!

It was perfect! Stayed for my son’s USAFA Graduation. It was perfect distance to USAFA and we did not have to get on I-25 at all. Gave us a little distance and breathing room from all the activity to destress at the end of the day. Deck with propane fire was wonderful. Place was clean and fit us very well. Nice setting and great house.

Truly a haven

The name haven in the woods sums up this place! My family loved the location and all of the pretty scenery. We loved the visits from the deer. This place had everything we needed for our first trip to Colorado. The only thing we didn’t care for was how hard the mattresses were. Just our families preference. Overall we loved it here and would definitely go back.

Comforts of Home

Highly recommend. Fantastic location with a view of snowy Pikes Peak. All the comforts of home. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare home cooked meals throughout our stay. The large grill and gas fire pit were a huge plus. Two of our guests have allergies, so we appreciated the fragrance free products and no fragrant air fresheners, etc. We were even able to enjoy watching a small group of mule deer from the back porch.

Great property!

Excellent property in a great location, easy to get to and a wonderful property manager. Not a lot of unreasonable requests, and an easy check out. Highly recommended this property for a relaxing fun weekend retreat with family and/or friends.

A wonderful place to stay

This home was perfect! Immaculately clean, well appointed, and in a quiet serene neighborhood tucked away in the pines. We wanted to be away from the strip malls and sprawl down in town, but still close enough to make an easy drive. This delivered on all counts. An easy 15 minute drive to the academy, 8-10 minutes to services, but with a nice rural feel. There are some nice jogging paths through the meadow right out the door too. The manager Drew was very helpful and communicative, and included several thoughtful touches: new sponges in the wrapper, coffee for the Keurig, full propane for the bbq. Very attentive to detail and we definitely appreciated it. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful home in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay at the Haven in the Woods! Such a beautiful property, inside and out. Every detail was thought of. I wished we had more time to enjoy the peace and quiet of the location but we were too busy with a family wedding. Drew was great and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

Pine trees and perfection

So so clean, beautiful wooded retreat with plenty of room and activities. We came to CO Springs for a wedding. Only stayed 2 nights but wish it could have been more. Looking forward to another visit!

Pros: Very charming place in the forest. Fabulous trails lots of extras in the house very enjoyable stay. Cons: Very steep stairs.
