We had a great stay here. Very pet friendly too. The house is very nice and has historical charm. The house was clean and it is close to restaurants if you want to go out to eat, or doordash food. Great place to stay!

Great stay

The property was very clean. The beds were absolutely awesome. The owner was very responsive and even after working all day long he was available to help me with an issue after my husband went back home. Would love to stay there again.

Nice house and great location

We really enjoyed our stay. This is close to anything you want to do in Wilmington and the beach area. Clean property with lots of room.

We found used wet towels hanging in one closet, we found a dirty sock under the love seat. When time to leave we were not able to do laundry for 2 reasons, 1 there was no laundry detergent. 2 there was a load of old wet stuff left in the washing machine. Other than those issues the house itself was okay. It was not as nice of a house as the house we stayed in last year when in Wilmington.

Nice house close to the beach

Nice and clean house with plenty of room for everyone. Only a 10 min drive to the beach. Would definitely consider staying here again!

The house was immaculate. Convenient to downtown Wilmington. Plenty of parking too. I highly recommend this house if you need access to Wilmington downtown. It’s really a great place

Family Wedding in Wilmington

We were coming from Pennsylvania for a family wedding. We arrived a little early the day if our checkin. The owner allowed us to check in a little early which was great. We loved that the house has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. We have no complaints at all. We really enjoyed staying at this property and would strongly consider staying here again when visiting family in the area. We recommend this place to others!

My Vacation Stay.

The rental property was beautiful. The property owner was very nice helpful and respectful to our needs. Just had an issue with the house being cleaned and there were too many ants infestation and roaches infestation. It would have been a great vacation, but I couldn't enjoy myself because of that. -Ellen Love

Ellen I had addressed any concerns that you had promptly during your stay but you did not mention anything about this. Unfortunately due to it raining every single day in July this year ants and other pests are more active. I have Terminx service this property on a monthly basis and can have them come out for a respray anytime as per our contract. It could have been resolved promptly.

Arrived to a dirty house.

I rented the property for one night hosting multiple friends. Upon arriving at 3:45, past the check in time of 3:00, the house was dirty from the previous renters. Cleaners were sent to the property and we were unable to be in the house until 5:45. I was told the trip would be refunded for the inconvenience and have yet to receive further communication or compensation.

The beds were comfortable and the house was mostly clean; however there were parts of the home that weren’t maintained like the closets not having a place to hang clothes with one beam laying on the floor and the other was gone completely in another bedroom. The switches on the lamps in one of the bedrooms were broken and could not be turned on. There also was some wall damage that was not repaired. There were visible bugs in the overhead bathroom light, and the living room furniture was very dirty. We put sheets over the couch and loveseat. While the bathroom in the front was okay, the master shower curtain was moldy. Overall, the house could use an external and internal review by the owner to see items that need to be cleaned, repaired or replaced

convenient location

The property was as pictured, just a bit older looking and the furniture has some stains. The beds were comfortable. There were cleaning products, trash bags, and laundry detergent available, which was a thoughtful touch. I emailed the owner with a question before we left and he got back to me very quickly. The property is located on a busy 2-lane road and car traffic could be heard from the front bedroom and living room, but it wasn't terrible. There's a very nice paved path within walking distance which is perfect for walking dogs or riding a bike. Also close by are plenty of restaurants, downtown Wilmington and shopping. Fort Fisher State Park is about 1/2 hour away. One thing that was very difficult was getting the sheets and towels washed before we left. That's a bit much to ask of people who have a very long drive back home. I would definitely recommend this property for a short stay or maybe even an extended stay.

Plenty of space

This house offers a lot for the price. All 4 bedrooms are a good size and had comfortable queen beds. We loved that it was pet friendly. The office area with carpeting was perfect for my 2-month-old granddaughter to enjoy her play mat, and the living room and dining area table comfortably seated 6 adults. We had some minor issues with the cleanliness of the 2nd bathroom and lack of toilet paper and paper towels, so I texted the owner who reached out to his cleaning service and they called me to sincerely apologize, and had more paper goods at our doorstep the next morning (didn’t need them sooner). Our only complaint is that there is no rod in the master closet for hanging clothes. Maybe it was painted recently and they didn’t put it back on but it definitely should be replaced asap. We were there for a rehearsal dinner and wedding and had dressy clothes we needed to hang. Overall it was a good stay.

Ein tolles Haus mit vielen Schlafzimmern. Hätten wir gewusst, dass es so schön ist und auch gut von der Lage her liegt, dann hätten wir uns länger eingebucht. Sollten wir mal wieder in der nähe sein, werden wir uns freuen dieses Domizil erneut buchen.

Awesome place

This property is great for families! We had 3 adults and a toddler, and we had plenty of room. Comes fully equipped and has smart TVs for entertainment. The location is great. Only downside is having to get all the laundry done (in the dryer) before leaving-- but the machines are large and quick so it ended up not taking a ton of time. Definitely will be staying again!
