Imagine spending a few nights living like David Crockett or Daniel Boone in the Tennessee Foothills with a fire in the fireplace and nestled on a horse farm by a trickling creek. Rustic but with modern conveniences such electric stove, clawfoot bathtub, central air and heat. Great views and a porch swing. Loft bedroom, washer and dryer, Microwave and coffee maker and stocked kitchen with an outdoor gas grill. Just 2 miles from historic Jonesborough, Tennessee's oldest town. We ask for at least 2 night stays on the weekends. One night is ok weekdays.
It's the perfect escape with just enough modern conveniences blended in. It's always tough to find some place to take our fur babies. Just the relaxation and a perfect combination for the holiday
This was a one of a kind awesome place to stay. The host was super helpful and accommodating. We said WOW so many times exploring the thoughtful touches all around the cabin. The landscape was beautiful and we loved sitting on the porch watching the horses graze.
This place was absolutely amazing very quiet! Morning coffee on the front porch watching the horses was so peaceful. The girls loved this place as well.
We were in the mountains for 24 hours and this was a perfect fit. Easy check in, unique and fun place to stay and clean. Would be happy to stay here again in the future.
The cabin is charming and takes you back in time to a much simpler way of life. Quiet, private and beautiful views. Highly recommend, great Host and property!
We were expecting an old cabin located on an open space. We were amazed beyond our imagination with the cabin. It is incredible. the location wasn't as open as we thought, but it was beautiful. Very relaxing location. Cabin was full of a lot of stuff from dishes, bedding, games, and even some food. Very happy with our stay. Would definitely rent again if we get back tothat area.
We needed somewhere to unwind that we could also take our three fur babies. Couldn't have asked for a better escape! The sunrises, the sunsets, The horses right out the window. Just enough modern convenience blended in to an 1880's escape. Our fur babies loved the walks of the gravel driveway every morning and night. The horses would come over to greet us. Cuddling up to a warm fire was just the perfect touch to end each day. We plan to come back!
We had a few small hiccups upon arrival but our host Rick resolved immediately. The cabin sits on a horse farm & is beautiful as well as quiet. Being able to make a fire made it comfortable & cozy as did rocking on the front porch at sunrise & sunset.
The beds are comfortable & a great perk to able to wash laundry while staying a day or two.
Internet, TV & iphones all had connectivity entire stay.
If your looking for a safe, clean, quiet, rustic place to hang out while on the road " You hit the jackpot"
100% would stay here again..
Absolutely enjoyed staying at this property. It is as described, an old 1880's cabin with modern amenities that gives the imagination an opportunity to wander and wonder what life was like back when the area was being settled.
