The house was just right for our family of four, with a great porch and view. Nice and quiet in the mornings and evenings. Kitchen nicely equipped, and check in/check out process really easy. Would definitely recommend, and would book again if we’re ever back in the area

Cozy cabin with beautiful views! We really enjoyed our stay in Swannanoa. Convenient location to Ashville and surrounding towns. If you come in the winter months it is a very steep hill to climb! Comfortable beds and living area. Would recommend for a couple or small family getaway!

Beautiful and cozy! The cottage was very clean and inviting. The price for my 3 day stay was not bad for what was there to utilize. Everything was as it should be, and I am already planning a second trip in the fall to Swannanoa and will reserve this same place, if available!

Lovely little Cabin

Lovely little cabin up on a holler in NC. Was exactly what our family needed after the recent loss of loved ones. Nearby Black Mountain is a great little town.

Long weekend in the mountains

We enjoyed a cozy Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. It has a great layout for cooking and relaxing, and the views are gorgeous! We used the wood-burning stove most of the time there.I had read other reviews pointing out that there was a lower level unit and an occasional tenant. I'm very glad I was aware of that because someone came to stay there the last night. I would have been absolutely freaked out if I wasn't aware. Would have appreciated a warning from the owner though.

Regarding the lower-level unit: We make sure to state very clearly in the listing description and welcome information that the property includes two separate units, and that the lower level may be occupied during a guest’s stay. I’m sorry to hear that part caught you off guard, but the details were provided upfront so guests can book with full awareness of the setup. It's as good in person as online!!

My wife and I stayed here with a couple of friends for my birthday weekend, and it was idyllic. The views are incredible and the cabin is nicely appointed with everything you might need. The road to the cabin is a bit steep and narrow, but we made it in a 2wd minivan. :)

Perfect spot for our family

This was such a nice escape up the mountain—the views, the peace and quiet—all while still being close enough to explore the surrounding sites. It was the perfect size for our family of four (two young children). We loved this well appointed space—a lovely cabin tucked into a beautiful setting.

Peaceful Anniversary Getaway

This is such a lovely space, perfect for a short anniversary getaway for me and my husband. Well appointed and comfortable, with amazing views. Secluded but close enough to great shopping, dining, and hiking for short excursions or a nice dinner. Would 100% stay again.
