Great place to stay in Duck Key

The place was very clean and very comfortable. The location was great and we had a wonderful stay. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to cook a meal or two.

Great Weekend

We had a lovely weekend at Frank’s place for a birthday getaway. The unit was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Frank is a wonderful host! Really helpful and friendly. We look forward to coming back!

Okay Stay but quite a expensive

Four adults checked in to the accommodations, one couple and 2 friends. The master bedroom was great, the 2nd bedroom, not so much. It was so small for 2adults, and no place to unpack or lay out your luggage. And then there was a beautifully inviting pool right behind our condo that apparently we were not allowed to use. We really wanted to jump in after a long day
but no such luck.

Very nice but some nuances

The unit was clean and utilitarian but there were some minor nuances that most VRBO units better address: (1) liquid dish soap, (2) more extra clean towels, (3) although small closet space, it was crowed with other stuff so difficult to easily access/use, (4) community pool immediately behind unit which was not apparent in pictures or mentioned in overview and we didn’t even have access to it, (4) some missing with plates in living room and obviously missing shelves(?) in master bath, (5) really uncomfortable master bed. Otherwise, clean very manageable
. Just not like the other premier properties that I usually rent. It was fine; met our needs and was clean - most importantly. Small nuances
 worth some attention to be a premiere property from my viewpoint.

Excellent choice

Property manager was very easy to connect with and answered all questions almost immediately after asked via messaging on the VRBO app. The villa was spotless when we arrived and exactly what we expected based on pictures shown on the listing. The property itself was clean and well kept. Check in and out instructions as well as other pertinent information were kept readily available in a binder on the table inside. The location had awesome views of the beach and was perfect for watching the sun rise/set. Would definitely recommend 100%.

wish i had more info

this condo has no hospitality. It has all the minimal things necessary to stay but not anything to make you want to stay or be comfortable. No place for clothes in bed 2, furniture does not fit room, No remote for 2 of the 3 tvs and no instructions on living room tv. No one said the unit was directly in front of pool filled with screaming kids, not enough towels without doing laundry continually , and really no cooking pots or pans to speak of. Not even a pitcher to make iced tea. The arrangement in living room cannot accommodate 4 adults. Sofa hard as a rock ,should be Cushey and comfortable. Oh my ,did I say comfort? there is no comfort here. if you only want a place to lay your head this is your rental. I have rented about 2 units a year and this is my first mistake. Really too bad since we were celebrating my husbands 80th birthday, And the owner knew that info. He could have given us a heads up.

Wonderful Stay

This was our first time in the Keys. Excellent location. Our family of four had several guided fishing trips out of Hawks Cay Marina which is right down the street from this home. We enjoyed sitting on the back decks overlooking the pool and we had some amazing sunsets. Home was nicely updated and suited our needs perfectly. Owner was very easy to reach. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean comfortable safe

My wife and family really enjoyed the space. The Duck Key area is very clean and family friendly. It was nice having access to a beach. There’s a really nice pool that we didn’t have access to but would like to have the option. We rented bikes for the week which we used daily to ride around the key. I’m glad we had a vehicle to drive to Marathon for groceries and more restaurants. It was quiet every night as well. Overall we were very happy with the place. It had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Nicely renovated and clean! Only thing, the fact that it is private owner make it hard to have service from the resort even if we came by boat and pay the resort fees by the marina!! We had a great time with the kids and grand parents!!😉
