This 550 square foot unit is within a duplex and has been furnished with stylish yet minimalist decor. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and the living room sofa can be pulled out to sleep 2. Even though the unit is on Borrego Springs Road and you may hear some street noise, typically between 8 pm-morning there are few cars on the streets in Borrego


It has been a joy to furnish this space with modern, yet simple designs
West Elm, Crate & Barrel, CB2, etc.

There are also 2 mini-splits and 2
smart TVs with access to Youtube TV (with over 70 channels) and WIFI speed of 200 Mps. We also provide starter coffee, creamer & sugar as well.

Quiet location close to town. Good parking and mountain views from the property. Apartment (Duplex) has been remodeled and has a living room, kitchen, and bedroom, which allows for privacy if needed.

Not much from the outside but nice on the inside. Close to stores etc. A little hard to find in the dark. A light on the address sign out front would solve that problem. No reason not to recommend, I would stay there again.

Nicely laid out and reasonably equipped, we enjoyed our stay. The only drawback was some traffic noise at night and early in the morning (we are quite sensitive to noise); otherwise very comfortable. Nice little front porch.

Desert Down Time

This is our second time at this property and just like our first experience it was awesome. Everything we would need is supplied, the town is walking distance and really all one needs to do is park and relax.

Great location

Property was very clean and comfortable. As noted by other renters, the Futon was probably the least desirable as we only used it as a sofa, not a bed. The building is located a bit off the road so can be tricky to find, especially at night. It is in a great location for golf, hiking, restaurants. If you want to cook in the unit, the kitchen is fine but note there is no oven. Nancy had a guest book prepared with detailed instructions for TV, stove, heating and cooling. Overall, we highly recommend.

This was a nice place - basic but had all we needed. Was very clean which is very important to me. We couldn't use the code on the door though - didn't work and then later we were sent a different code but couldn't find that code. We just had to leave back door open which wasn't a great option but worked for us. We would stay again for sure though!

I loved my stay here. The host was super accessible and there were clear instructions for everything. The space was the perfect size and it was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this property and will surely be coming back again!

Love the Borrego View

The view was wonderful and close to town. The only drawback is that the furniture is very uncomfortable and the stove is difficult to work.

Clean and newly remodeled interior

Fresh and clean with all we needed at a good price. Saw views of the desert mountains. Back outside area was a good place for sitting in the sun and reading. They did a good job with the interior remodel as the kitchen and bathroom were new and pleasant. Heat and air worked great. Only thing I would change is the futon couch in the living room as it wasn’t the most comfortable for just sitting and watching TV since it tends to slide out and the back is low. Very close to town with several restaurants 5 minutes drive away. I would stay again.

Very comfortable stay

We had an awesome stay. Comfortable bed, clean shower and well stocked kitchen. Loved gazing at the stars in the backyard by the fire, it was an unforgettable experience. Peel your eyes If you are arriving at night time though, because the signage is not illuminated and you can miss the place very easily. Overall we loved our stay and would come back here when we visit beautiful Borrego Springs again. Highly recommend hiking the slot canyon if you are in the area! (20min away from the house)

Great apartment!

The apartment was very nice, clean and exactly as the pictures. Everithing is working fine, hot and cold water, the air conditioner was pperfect for the rooms and the communication with the host was very on time.

Very clean and fully equipped. One serious problem. The shower floor is extremely slippery when wet. We only used the shower once due to this. Really needs a shower mat to prevent a safety issue.

Convenient location

This one-bedroom duplex is conveniently located, not too far from "down-town" and close to some of the birding hotspots we frequented. The unit is clean. The bedroom has lots of storage and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, although the shower could use a grab bar for senior citizens and a floor mat to prevent slipping. The kitchen is well appointed with a large refrigerator/freezer. We did not use the induction stove top or toaster oven, only the microwave and the coffee pot. We did not turn on the TV in the bedroom, only the one in the living room. At home we have satellite TV. The streaming TV service was new for us. We missed our regular channels, so we watched a lot of old programs. It was too windy to sit outside, but the back patio with chairs around a fire pit is a nice feature. There is a barbecue in the front, which we didn't use, either. We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay and are planning to make this our "home-away-from-home" again the next time we visit Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

Wonderful wildflower getaway!

This rental was clean and comfortable. I cooked while there and found the kitchen well-stocked with everything I needed. I loved the views from the front picnic table and the back fire ring and it was so nice to be in town and close to many of the park's amenities.

Exceeded All Expectations!

I stayed in January. The heater worked great! The host was outstanding with communication and helpfulness. This is my first VRBO stay and I was very pleased. Starting with the pictures and property description being accurate, this set the stage for a great stay. The apartment is well aged and newly remodeled. The kitchen and bathroom are well designed for looks and functionality. We had a ton of fun during our visit and this was an absolutely fantastic place to stay. Will definitely keep in mind as a first option for the next visit. Thank you!
