"Summer Shandy" is located in Prominence South directly behind The HUB, a hip and lively spot for dining, shopping and entertainment. Stroll directly out your back door and cross the Hub parking lot conveniently located in the center of all the excitement. Enjoy outdoor movies on the big screen, live music, and delicious food. Google the "Hub 30A" for a current schedule of events.
Your vacation home is conveniently located on Southern beach side of 30-A to the pristine, sugar white sandy beaches of Deer Lake State Beach. Ride bikes to beach or enjoy a free shuttle service from Prominence North to beach locations along 30A from Memorial Day through Labor Day 9am-3pm.
Community amenities also include a centrally located 2 community pools work-out room, outdoor grill for dining poolside.
The 1,600+ two-story townhome gives everyone plenty of room to stretch out and relax so you can begin to enjoy your well deserved time away the moment you open the door. Our home comfortably sleeps 6: 2 Kings, 1 Bunk with a Full size and Twin size mattress,. Guests are limited to 6 for our home.

Beach Access to the West:
Deer Lake State Park - Deer Lake is the most popular and the closest beach access to Prominence and is located .5 miles away. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk froth parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Walton Dunes - Walton Dunes is about 2 miles to the west at the end of Beachfront Trail. This is a Walton County beach access with parking and short distance to the beach.
Santa Clara - Santa Clara access is a Walton County beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *Santa Clara is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Beach Access to the East:
Gulf Lakes - The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about .5 miles to the east of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed. Parking is not available, but makes for a great bike ride to the beach.
Sea Breeze - Sea Breeze is a Walton County beach access that is just past the Gulf Lakes access. Parking and bathrooms are not available at this access, however, there is a shower.

Ok this stay was . The property is really pretty and close to everything you need. Beach access at Deer Lake State Park could not have been more convenient. Love the extras with the house like golf cart, beach bikes, and beach chairs. There was even a wagon to lug all of our things down to the beach! Jerrad is an incredible host. He is communicative, responsive, and truly wants you to enjoy your stay. I got great food and entertainment recommendations from him as well. I will be coming back for the beautiful house and the security of a wonderful host!

We had an awesome stay and would highly recommend this place. The host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with from start to finish, which made everything seamless.The golf cart and bikes were a huge bonus and made getting around so easy and fun, especially with kids. We were able to spend time at Deer Lake Park and Inlet Beach, both easily accessible by golf cart, and loved having the beach chairs and wagon provided, it made beach days simple and stress-free.Speaking of kids, this place was perfect for our family. We have three (ages 3, 8, and 10), and there was truly something for all of them to enjoy.The Big Chill was a highlight for both the kids and the adults. There was always something going on, great food options, and just a really fun atmosphere day and night.Overall, this was a perfect family-friendly spot with plenty to do and great amenities. We’d absolutely stay here again.

The location was close to the Big Chill and several great shops. Bikes and golf cart were fantastic amenities for the family to get around and enjoy the scenery. The community pools were clean and spacious. The townhome was clean, well decorated and spacious for our family of 5. Communication with owners was quick, friendly and helpful. We loved our short weekend trip to Jerrad’s place! We wish we could have stayed longer. The place was spotless, comfortable, and only a short <10min drive to Alys and Rosemary beach. The golf cart was fun too. We cannot recommend Jerrad’s place enough!

Jerrad, Fran , Emmy Lou and Jamison welcome you to 30-A! We are a family of 4. Our two little girls are 6 and 5. Our primary residence is located in Nashville, TN. Both my husband and myself are from Kentucky. Bowling Green and Boxville. I am a licensed Realtor in Nashville and soon to be in FL as well. Jerrad's career is in medical sales. We find ourselves very busy from day to day life! It's wonderful to have a home away from home!

30-A was our first choice for a second property. It is family-friendly along with beauty and character. Prominence has the convenience of entertainment, shopping, and dining. Not having the added stress of hitting the grocery store upon arrival is a huge benefit for our location. Prominence newly built a row of Townhomes directly behind the Hub. We could not resist "new' and "fun". The girls love Build-a-Bear and the Candy shop, while my husband loves Luke Bryan's cigar bar. I personally love all the little boutique shops! New Construction was a huge bonus. The property has brand new designer furnishings. The primary bedroom is two stories and overlooks the cobblestone path to the pool.
