The house was very clean and well-stocked for guests. It's a safe neighborhood too. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful. We will stay here again!

The stay was excellent. The house was so well layed out, fully stocked, so comfortable! It was perfect for our family. The only glitch was the front door lock didn't accept the code and we couldn't get in touch with the manager. We were able to try successfully get into the house about 20 minutes later...the lock decided to open! Thank goodness for a great yard and neighborhood for the kids to run around in.

Extremely nice home

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners have thought of everything. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of supplies in the home. Internet access was fast and reliable. Communication was wonderful. We will be back!

Christmas stay in Monticello

This year we found ourselves needing to stay in the Monticello/ Greenville area to visit family for Christmas. It is never ideal to be away from home on Christmas, but Clint went out of his way to make our stay perfect. I asked ahead of time if there would be a Christmas tree set up, and he made sure that a decorated Christmas tree and Christmas lights on the outside of the home greeted us at our home away from home. The home is situated in a newer, clean, safe neighborhood. We cooked quite a bit, and the kitchen was equipped with all the tools and dishes we needed. The home is very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be contacting Clint if we need to stay again in the future. Thank you, Clint, for helping to make an unusual Christmas the very best it could be!

Perfect game day weekend getaway

Great Place!

The cottage was warm and comfortable, exactly as described. Easy trip to Tallahassee for the game. We LOVED the cute little town and can't wait to come back to explore a little more!

Exploring North Florida

We went on vacation to explore the area and this home made it easier to see East and West. This was one of the most relaxing vacations ever. We were with in 20 minutes of city or country life and the town of Monticello was beautiful.

Very good but


Nice home which was very well equipped, clean, and conveniently located. Host was extremely helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. However, was disappointed with the lack of TV (not even a digital antenna) and internet availability. The host did say this should be remedied in the next month or so, but there was a void during our 5 day stay. There was a modest problem with ants and other insects in the home. Not a serious infestation but it was annoying to see them throughout the house, especially on the counters in the kitchen.

Lovely place

This is easily the nicest, and best appointed place I have stayed in over the last few years. We spent most of our time away with family and really only slept and showered here, but I would have liked more time in this beautiful and comfortable home. It’s right in the heart of adorable historic Monticello, and I’d even recommend to stay here for a Tallahassee trip, because it’s a beautiful, scenic, and fairly short drive straight into the middle of the city- but just far enough out to be removed from the traffic and noise and general grime of the capitol. I have nothing to say except good things. We couldn’t believe how well stocked and nice this place was. The owner was communicative and super friendly. We sadly had to check our early due to a family situation and I would have enjoyed one more night. I hope they keep this place available, because it will be the first place I check the next time I visit my brother. One word of caution: the speed bumps in the neighborhood are intense!

Discovering Monticello!

Beautiful, quiet suburban neighborhood located across the street from Johnston’s Family Meat Market which everyone flocks to for doughnuts on Saturday mornings. Location is perfect, about 2 min from downtown Monticello. House was new, clean and we found it in working order, just as pictured. We had a lovely time making family memories in Monticello.
