Welcome to The Dogwood House on Kentucky Lake, waterfront, private dock!

It’s a 3 bedroom with 2 bathroom home in Waverly TN that sleeps up to 8.
The property slopes down to the water leading you to a private dock with kayaks, and paddle boards, which also has a private shared boat ramp.
The Dogwood house is furnished with all the amenities: full kitchen with all cookware and utensils, gas grill and propane, washer and dryer, fresh towels and linens, board games, corn hole, wifi, smart TV, and Netflix, bluetooth speakers. We also provide toilet paper, paper towels, dish & washing detergent & laundry detergent.
The nearest marina is Leatherwood a 20 minute boat ride to Paris Landing. The house is located an hour from Clarksville, and less than two hours to Nashville TN.
The Downs House is created for you to leave the fast paced life style behind, relax and truly unplug.

Love this beautiful lake front home! so many amenities and the accommodations are wonderful. Owner is friendly and easy to communicate with. House is spotless and cozy. This is our 2nd time staying here and want to come back every year!

Nice house, nice location with beautiful views. We enjoyed the peaceful and secluded setting with so much property to walk about and walk the dog. All the amenities were great and I personally enjoyed taking the canoe out for a spin. Only thing that was disappointing was the cleanliness specific to spider webs and spiders. Too many spider webs on entry doors especially the front door. Spider webs/ spiders inside on the ceiling corner areas and on the light fixtures. We had spider come down from the light fixture above the table and one from above the stove.. We had to use a broom to remove all of them. Couple feedback items. The frig had water pooling below it each day that we had to mop. The bathtub near the two bedrooms drained very very slow. Denise was great in her responsiveness and communication. Just need to let the cleaning crew know what we experienced so they can address these concerns.
Most corners of the ceiling had these spiders and webs like this one.

The view was amazing! Hot tub was super clean (needs a new lid) house was very clean! Owner was great to work with!The dock was further away than the pictures made it seem and it was not accessible to my husband who has a bad back bc it was very steep. But!! It had everything a family would I need to have lots of fun at the lake!

We had five adults and one baby. The cabin was perfect. We wanted a peaceful place to go and just be together as a family. The cabin was more than amply supplied, and the owner had plenty of local information available. Be aware however, that it is very difficult to find, GPS is very spotty there and there are NO street signs. Once you find it, you will love it! Oh! the VIEW!

Weekend getaway with the boys

Great cabin. My boys and I had a good time fishing, using the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. Denise was very quick to respond with any needs.

Beautiful property, some challenges

This is a beautiful property and we hope to visit again.Great view of the lake. Loved the hot tub. Excellent propane grill with Blackstone top.We brought our bass boat on the trip. There is a boat ramp and dock, but it is a challenging ramp to use. You need to be excellent at backing a boat trailer to access it. There was not power at the dock to recharge batteries. You can pull the boat back up to the house on the trailer to recharge, bit that is a bit tough. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to going back!!

Tennessee getaway

We are looking at property on Kentucky Lake so we wanted a true experience. Clean, peaceful and safe! It is a bit of a drive to a store or restaurant so stop at a grocery store before you get there!

Amazing!

Beautiful house- very clean and spacious. Very stocked kitchen supplies and activities for family. Smart TV and Blackstone was definitely appreciated and used. Views are amazing. So peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed very much and will be definitely visiting again!

House on Lake

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was more remote than we had anticipated. You need to go to a store its 40 minutes away. The house address needed to be marked better when arriving in the dark. The dock was farther away than we thought. The communication with the owner was easy. She answered all my questions. The view is beautiful. Hot tub was perfect. Recommend if you like remote locations.

Great Place to Relax

Denise was very communicative. We had a lovely time. The road out there was very off the beaten path and I would recommend visiting a grocery store on the way in. The house was lovely and the view was unbeatable. Our only sticking point was the beds were a little hard. Other than that it was great get-away!

Beautiful get away!

What a beautiful view! The house is nice and the property is well maintained. Denise was excellent at communicating with me. We had a little trouble with the location of the boat ramp etc but that was easily solved with communication with the owner. Get away and go! You’ll love it.
