Recent upgrades (2023) - SmartTV and new furniture in living room, new counter stools, brand new A/C, new linens, hall bath refinished, bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.). ** Brand New community dock with dedicated boat slip with power and water hookups, one parking space large enough for boat trailer**

This 3br/2.5 bath end unit townhome provides guests with both beach and boating access! The unit is only one block from the beach (500 feet, 200 steps). Stunning views of the sunset across the bay. There is a community pool (seasonal, generally May 1 - Oct 31) and two large off-street parking spots. The larger parking space is large enough to accommodate a boat trailer (NOTE: the garage is NOT available for vehicles; partial garage access provided for grill & beach/recreational storage only).

Linens and towels included. Bathroom amenities, toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent and laundry detergent starters provided for each guest.

The main floor features an open floor plan that has stunning views from the living area and kitchen. Spectacular sunsets across the water from the main/second floor balcony. There are wood-like tile floors throughout. The third floor features the three bedrooms. The primary bedroom faces the water and offers a king size bed, a private bathroom, walk-in closet and private balcony. The second bedroom features a queen bed. The third bedroom offers a bunk bed with full mattress on the bottom and twin mattress on the top. Bedroom 2 and 3 share a full hall bathroom (with shower/tub combo).

For your convenience, WiFi, smart TV with cable and a DVD player in living room are included.

The kitchen is fully outfitted with dishwasher, disposal, ice maker, coffee maker, microwave, ceramic lined pots and pans, utensils, and cups/plates/dishware for 6+ (plus some extras!)

The included boat slip allows boaters to access the Intracoastal Waterway, The Cape Fear River (Snow’s Cut) and the ocean via The Carolina Beach Inlet. The boat slip also has water and electric hookups included. **NOTE: Per HOA regulations, use of boat slip requires guest to provide a certificate of insurance prior to their arrival**

Had a great stay, host was great with communication. There was an issue with a washing machine (warranty work) that was outside of the owners control, but they were very communicative and made accommodations to ensure our stay was great
. Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful home with amazing views!! Sat on the deck every morning listening to the sounds of being near the water, it was so peaceful! Everything was in close proximity and renting a golf cart to shuttle around everywhere was my daughter's favorite thing to do!! The host was easy to reach and quick to respond! We would definitely stay again and also recommend it!! Thank you again for opening up your home for others to enjoy!!

Perfect beach getaway

I cannot say enough about this wonderful condo! We had the best of both worlds, with riverfront views, a pool and the beach just two blocks away. Alicia has earned her Premier Host status! All the basic supplies that we needed were there. Needless to say, we hope to return to this property.

We enjoyed the hone and location. Our only suggestion would be getting some spare blankets. My wife was freezing one evening and we couldnt find a single one in the house.

Great Find

First time in Carolina Beach. Beautiful area enjoyed our stay at the house enjoyed the boat ramp. Close proximity to the beach and pier recommend staying; we will be back.

Beautiful property with the most beautiful view!

The whole family stayed here for a long weekend and couldn’t be more pleased! The dock made it easy to bring the boat and fish on the sound, while the proximity to the ocean allowed us to have the best of both worlds. Will stay again!

Spacious and great location

There was a surprising amount of room in the condo, and we cooked several meals in their kitchen. So convenient to go to bars and to the beach, we had a great time with minimal stress.

Wonderful Vacation

We had an excellent week at this home! The space was perfect for the 6 people we had. The views were incredible and the walk to the beach was super easy! We were thankful for the chairs, sand toys, and umbrella provided for the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved playing games every night that were provided. Communication with Alicia was great as well and she was more than accommodating when there was an issue with the washer. Stay here for your beach vacation. You will not be disappointed!

Perfect for our family

Communication was excellent. This was our second trip to Carolina Beach. We have now found the perfect place to return to. We enjoyed our stay, there was plenty of room for our party of 6 including 4 teenagers. Just book it you will not be disappointed🙂

Great condo

Great condo

This condo was exactly what we needed for our little group. It looks just like the pictures and was super clean. It took us 2 minutes to walk to the beach and the boardwalk is a mile away. The owner was very quick to answer all of my questions and very pleasant to deal with. Would definitely stay here again upon returning to Carolina Beach!

Fantastic view! Exactly as depicted in the description!

This was an amazing vacation home for my family of 4. The condo was well equipped and very comfortable. The walk to the beach was a very short easy walk. The sunsets from the back deck area were truly amazing. Every single night we had the best view. The owner is amazing and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again if I was going to Carolina beach.

The Haven is a perfect beach house. We love how close it is to the beach (1 street over, 5 minute walk), the private pool, and the sunset views on the back porch. Nicely equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, comfortable couch. Bring your own beach towels and extra bath towels. We'll keep coming back to Captain's Quarter's!

Loved the Haven

We woke up to nornings on the canal. Weather didnt cooperate the whole time but the magic of looking out over the water can't be compared. Alicia was wonderful to work with, the property was clean and cozy and well supplied with necessities. Would recommend this property with no hesitation.

Carolina Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house was beautiful and the location was great. The view off the back deck was gorgeous and it was just a quick walk to the beach. We really enjoyed the pool after a day at the beach and it was never crowded. The house was updated and beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable for our group of 6 and was well supplied with everything we needed and more. Alicia was a great host and responded to any communication in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful views

Amazing location! Quick 5 minute walk to the beach! The views off the back deck were 10/10, we loved watching the sunrise every night and even got treated by seeing a few dolphins our first morning there. Alicia was great to communicate with. The floors could have been a little cleaner but other than that everything was cleaned nicely. All of the beds were very comfortable.

Sunsets at the Haven

Alicia was so kind to move our trip from fall to spring due to a hurricane. We had a fabulous trip with beautiful weather. Located on the canal, we got to watch gorgeous sunsets every night. We were steps away from the ocean for morning walks on the beach. We enjoyed Michael's Seafood, Island Beverages, and the Tiki Bar at Low Tides at the end of the street. We made a quick and easy trip into downtown Wilmington also for a great lunch at The Pilot House. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful

We have stayed at several properties for vacation over the past several years and this home was the best by far. The owners truly provide all the amenities to feel at home and for use at the beach. We also had the best of both worlds, a sunset view over the bay right outside our deck and cross the street for the beach. Also, the owner checked in with us immediately to see if we needed anything. She was so responsive and cared. We would definitely come back here, there is so much to do and this is a great location. Thank you for making this such a memorable trip.

After growing with the beach as part of our lives (Pacific Ocean in CA for Alicia and Gulf Coast of AL for Lee), time on the coast brings us both rest and relaxation. After relocating from Washington DC to Raleigh in 2020, we began our search for a nearby beach community and place to call our second-home. So pleased to have found our vacation townhome in Carolina Beach as our place of respite.

Love walking on the beach, kids playing in the ocean, taking a dip in the pool, and enjoying the beautiful sunset. All the things we love to do and enough space here to do them with the people we love (family if 5 including our older daughter and her significant other; or with grandparents or two small families)!

When not beaching, we spend our time working, spending time with family and friends, and participating in school activities. In the summer you will find us at the neighborhood pool, and in the fall, in the stands at NC State football games (go Pack!).

We look forward to hosting you in our second-home.

waterfront views, beach a block away, access to bay for recreation, boat slip, community pool! The unit itself has an open layout, nicely furnished, clean and relaxing. All located on the quieter north end of Carolina Beach, fewer crowds but easy access to the boardwalk. We prepare the home in the way we want to experience it. Love it and we hope you do as well!
