Wonderful Stay

Beautiful 5 bedroom home. We especially enjoyed the kitchen, the hot tub, the pool table and the nice bedrooms. We loved how close we were to the YMCA camp and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Absolutely wonderful!

This is by far the best place we ever stayed with VRBO! Gorgeous location on the river - beautiful, comfortable furnishings. Liked the two levels to feel uncrowned. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Estes Lodge

We enjoyed our stay and felt like we had our own private lodge. The whole family played pool, enjoyed the creek, mountain views, and abundant wildlife. One morning we saw 15 deer roaming along the creek. We would definitely choose this home again.

Fantastic Home

Great place right on the river. 5 minutes to the Beaver Meadows entrance. Close to a gas station/liquor store and close to good restaurants without having to go into Estes Park. Room to park 4 cars. Will stay here again on our next trip to RMNP.

Perfect location! Close to everything including RMNP. Great for large families or group get togethers. Lot's of room. Extra plus is the hot tub & pool table for entertainment. If planning to cook, the kitchen has everything you need! Next to the river & wonderful balcony to just sit and relax.

Perfect for our large family!

The cabin is literally on the edge of the BigThompson river. Everyone in our group of 9, ages 3 to 70, enjoyed the experience! The cabin was spotless and included all we needed to enjoy our stay. There was a small snafu when we first arrived but it was corrected immediately by the property manager. Thanks Andy! The property is within minutes of Estes park and Rocky Mountain National Park. I highly recommend it.

Colorado Wedding

The view of the big thompson river was fabulous! We loved sitting outside listening to the river. Saw a herd of deer right outside crossing thd river and grazing in the properties yard.The house was beautifully decorated slightly soiled couch and some wrappers under bed in basement and under couch cushions.Met our families needs and many great memories were made.

Great Christmas get together for family

Very comfortable cabin for our family gathering. Great well equipped kitchen, plenty of room for everyone. Master suite on main floor comfortable and nice layout. 2nd bedroom & bath on main level nice. The younger folk enjoyed the lower level with 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths & game room.. They even went in hot tub in the snow. The kids made their own sled run on the property, which they really enjoyed. Very convienent to Rocky Mountain National Park. Would definately recommend for family gatherings. Good heating system for winter.

Fishing disappointment

The house itself is nice and clean. There is an upstairs and downstairs kitchen and a game room but we spent most of our time upstairs and would have liked a bigger main kitchen. There is a stream that goes through the back but no fish to be found in this stretch...mostly due to faster running water. One property over and further down the banks there is a nice fishing spot but those neighbors will not let you fish there. So if you’re intent on catching some fish this property will be disappointing. Otherwise everything was great.

It hurts to get a three star review because fishing was poor. I wish you had rated the home and not the fish or your lack of fishing knowledge. You liked the house so much that you extended your stay.

An Amazing Home

This was our third time to stay at this home and each time it just gets better and better. There is the VERY well appointed house, the comfortable beds and sound of the river that help you sleep, the hot tub that soothes sore muscles after hiking, the elk and deer who wander thru the yard and provide entertainment for the grandchildren, the pool table that feeds those sibling rivalries and the two refrigerators that store all the food needed for our family gathering. The list goes on and on because this house and tens location is fantastic.

My family of 12 came to Estes for a 4 night stay at this beautiful home. It met all of our families needs. Very spacious surrounded by the mountains and Thompson River right outside the back door. The elk came to visit a few times and my Grandchildren loved watching them. We would definitely book this property again!!!

Memorable Moments

Our dual family vacation was well spent in this cozy and serene home. The home was perfect for two families with two living spaces, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Well decorated and very clean. Back yard was so peaceful and gorgeous- even saw some wildlife! Will definitely return!
