Loved the property and location. It is a little further from the busy areas providing peaceful times outside. The only downside is we flew in and beach towels weren't provided and not something easy to add to luggage. Recommend to all to bring towels to make it a perfect stay.

The property is beautiful. Our condo had fantastic views of the ocean. Has a great balcony. There was a problem with roaches when we arrived. Had to keeo spraying raid especially at night. The furnishings need to be updated. The beds and sofas all are very low so hard to get up from. Also takes an extremely long time to get hot water in the condo.

This was our second time staying in this room and it was amazing!! Having the pool and the beach right there makes it so much easier to just park your car and enjoy everything the property has to offer. Will definitely be looking forward to coming back!!

The best things about this place are the view and the pool. But there are too many things wrong to justify the price of staying here.First, the kitchen has a roach problem. I killed 8 of them. They come out when the lights are off. Second, the beach is a lot further than 30 yards away, as the description says. It’s about 1,500 feet from the room to a spot on the beach. I measured via Google Maps. Those are my two biggest issues with the place. There are others things like the water temp on the showers is impossible to figure out.The parking situation is also suspect, as I had to park across the street at the liquor store one night. It was Fourth of July weekend so I understand it was crowded but half the cars didn’t have paper in the dash and there’s no enforcement. The pool area is fantastic. It’s at the level of a Caribbean resort. Spend most of your time at the pool. Otherwise, I would not recommend staying here.

Indeed. It was an exceptional view. Highly encourage you to take a long look at this place. We are true beach bums, we go out and flop for hours at a time. This location seems more geared to the folks that like a more diverse experience. There is a great beach. They also have a great lazy river, a pool, a spa, a theater etc. All first class. In addition, Galveston proper is a short 1/2 mile away. Really a great option for people looking to do it all.

We really love the condo. It’s quiet and has lovely amenities. If we could change anything we would like more comfortable furniture on the patio. Otherwise it’s perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

It’s become a yearly tradition to visit Diamond Beach Resort, as always my favorite spot to hang out is the lazy river. The condo was super nice & super clean & exactly how it was described!
