By reserving this condo, you have secured the confidence that you and your family will experience the most upscale form of vacationing available in Galveston! You will leave your vacation with a smile and memories to last a lifetime. Your condo is lavishly decorated and designed with all the comforts of home. This unit has free WiFi, 3 flat-screen TV's, a large fully stocked kitchen, granite countertops, a huge soaking tub, a rain shower, and a view from your balcony that will take your breath away! The primary bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has a new queen bed, the third bedroom has a twin over full pyramid bunk and a twin trundle.

DIAMOND BEACH RESORT
Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes)(peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community. Some amenities are seasonal only. The waterslide amenity is no longer offered at this resort.

Amazing resrt! Great pool and lazy river! Clean fresh watet at good temp. Whole resort was super well cared for and clean. Great seating areas around pool. Wonderful toddler playroom.attentive and customer oriented staff all over. Great communication and response from vrbo host. Condo also wonderful and clean. May need to make a grocery run for essentials such as hand soap or bring your own if driving locally. We would love to return for another vacation here if ee get an opportunity.

Great option for a family. Enjoyed the second floor view better than our friend's higher floor view - had an infinity ocean effect. Comfortable furnishings and overall great stay. Would give 5 stars if there were a few more basics in kitchen (extra trash bag, an extra toilet paper roll, more than one cutting board, more than one dish towel), but otherwise was great! Loved the location, pool wonderful and very clean. Walk to beach was long, Need better shower area at beach path to hose off feet and beach gear. Game room needed more actuates Would be nice to have outdoor shuffle boards. Over all great experience.

Awesome property with a few minor improvements needed

The resort was awesome with great amenities. The unit we stayed in was clean and very nice but a lot of things were not well attached to the wall (towel holders, toilet paper holders, and even the thermostat). I would recommend the unit cause it’s really nice but would love to see those few things fixed if we were to come back.

Excellent for Weekend Family Getaway

We stayed here with our two kids for the weekend and it was wonderful. The pool is perfect for small children and so much fun. Loved that you could walk right outside to the beach instead of having to cross the busy street to get to the seawall. The playroom was also really nice to have for the middle of the day when you want to keep the little ones out of the blazing sun. The kids were so happy playing on the beach and in the pool. We truly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go back.

Spring break 2024

We had a great time in Galveston. This property was perfect for my family! The location was super convenient, the amenities were great! Although it was a little cool and windy for swimming outside, the indoor pool was great! My only complaints would be that it took a really long time to get warm water and there was water leaking from the fridge. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again!

As a BOI, my standards are high for when I come back home to the island. However, instead of staying with fam and friends we decided to try something new and this didn’t disappoint! Great family amenities!

Living on the Island we knew this property had some great amenities. It was the perfect staycation! The lazy river, huge pool and location on the beach were wonderful for a family stay. The kitchen was well equipped, just missing a pizza cutter, ice cream scoop and perhaps some more basic spices would be nice. Coffee filters and aluminum foil would also be good to offer guests. The bathroom door did not have a lock so that was another thing that could be improved. Overall a great location and stay for the whole family.

Very Enjoyable

Just as pictured - only negative thing was the bathtub didn't drain very well and it was difficult to change from shower to faucet. Everything else was great. Diamond Beach is our favorite place to stay in Galveston with their amazing pools, hot tubs and most of all, the lazy river.

Quick Beach Trip

The condo was very nice. Patio was huge and had plenty of seating. It is one floor up from the pool. Pictures make it look level with the pool. The complex was nice. There were a few broken umbrellas. The cabana was nice and had a built in cooler. I wish the fence around the pool didn't block the view of the ocean. We loved the lazy river and having a full bar available on the weekend. Pool is huge and beautiful.

Great spot for family

The pool and lazy river are both nice, very well maintained and the kids enjoyed both. The unit we stayed in was nicely updated and as described. The unit was on the second floor so we had a larger balcony than other floors. The gym has good equipment and well maintained. Bring bug spray! Even though the resort sprays for mosquitos, they are fierce. My husband was actually swarmed and received about 50 plus bites...he did not spray so lesson learned. Location was away from the activity, but just about right. The only issue with the unit itself is the master bed/mattress, it needs to be replaced. I would also suggest that an all purpose cleaner be available in unit to wipe down the kitchen counters. My graddaughters had a blast though!

Everything that has to do with the actual property is well maintained and great. The pools and lazy river is beautiful. Check in is easy. The unit is in poor shape not well maintained. They have redone some finishes which look very nice, but the unit is beat up. Scratches and dings everywhere. The washing machine was so mmajorly cleaning it. The air conditioner leaked and poured gross water all over our stuff and the panel fell from the ceiling. Furniture was dirty, the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall. Empty soap dispensers in the bathroom. Only one set of trash bags and toilet paper for 6 people for a week. We had to go to the store to buy toilet paper, soap and trash bags. The beds were very uncomfortable. I did like the shower in the master bathroom, but we couldn’t get the bathtub faucet to work for the kids to take a bath. Even the maintenance guy couldn’t figure it out. We had to call the emergency hotline/maintenance the whole trip. Too much to deal with for how much it costs. Pictures must be old. Not upscale experience at all.
Dirty Furniture, the furniture is very used and dirty needs to be cleaned.
This is just a few pictures, the entire unit is a mess of scratches and dings. Missing toilet paper holder, I found that in a drawer. Random hole in the wall in the children's room. Just looks terrible. All the door frames are messy and scratched.
This washing machine smelled so badly we had to call maintenance to bleach it. We were planning on using the washing machine the whole trip so we brought less clothes because of it. It was very gross.
this gross ceiling panel filled with water then a huge gush of water poured out when it broke all over our toothbrushes and toiletries. It was so gross.

Never again

We have been to this complex 5 or 6 times in recent years. This experience was truly disappointing. The floor tiles were broken and the management team rented the condo anyway. These broken tiles were in the middle of the primary walkway, mind you. Absolutely unacceptable. There were shards of broken tiles on the floor where my children were walking. I will never work with this management group again.

No major complaints that made us unhappy, just a few things that made it not 5 star worthy. The pools are great, the game room was nice (a few non-functional things, but otherwise ok. The walk to the beach is a hike, especially if you have anything heavy, anything to pull, or small kids. Loose, deep sand and uphill on the way back were tough, but manageable. Overall, the living and kitchen were nice, the washer dryer in the room was helpful, and the beds are comfortable with very soft sheets and good pillows. The view is a BEAUT!The tile in the shower was so slick we had one fall and three near falls, the secondary bathroom would not switch from shower to bath, which was hard with a very small child. That bath’s front was clearly either unfinished or done unprofessionally. Some spots where baseboards had gotten wet showed that they are fiberboard not wood, and the paint touch ups with paint that is the same color but not same finish certainly gave a cheap appearance. The comforter in the main bedroom didn’t fit the bed and left us uncomfortable. The light switches are very confusing, and the location and way they operate left us struggling to sort out where to look and what controlled what. The tv was a smart tv but had no internet connection for streaming services. The outdoor furniture was comfortable, but not as advertised.
