Quaint beach cottage a short 1 minute walk to the sands and waves

This quaint, freshly renovated beach cottage is located four doors down from the beach access and less than half a mile from the Pier. Located near the Pier, you will find the local eats, boutiques, cafes, and other locally owned businesses. I am excited to share these experiences and hope you enjoy your time on the island. Surf City is one of the few dog-friendly beaches year-round! Please indicate if you are bringing a pet when booking-there is a $100 pet fee. The cleaning and linen fees are “pass through charges” and therefore bed linens and towels are included in all bookings.

Back in Touch Massage, Yoga, & Lomilomi and Inis Spa are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Ohana Paddle Sports and Thomas Tackle and Seafood. Mia's Marketplace and The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Very nice cottage
The cottage is very nice and was the perfect size for me, my husband and our dog. It was just as nice as the pictures online. Very clean and modern. We had a short walk to the beach and enjoyed walking to the park and on the bridge to the island. Neighbors and local people were all very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfection.
The weather was a literal wash the majority of the time, but I was so happy to have this adorable spot for front porch sitting to enjoy the beach environment even though we weren’t on the beach. The day of arrival, I was so in love with this house I booked a weeklong vacation in the future. The spot is about 1-2 mins from the beach, and super convenient to my favorite restaurants— specifically Shaka Taco! If it wasn’t for the rain (and a 4 year old with a broken leg) we probably wouldn’t have drove anywhere. Sarah was super responsive. I could tell she and her family take pride in the home and call it their own. The house was stocked beyond all expectations, even including a dog bed and crate. My pups loved the fenced in yard and all around just amazing for each of us. Also— I accidentally left our little whale nightlight, so I feel like we left our own little touch. :) I can’t wait to go back and I’m trying to recruit friends to rent the upper home the same week ;).

Hideaway Getaway
We stayed at the Hideaway for a short spring break getaway from upstate New York. The location was perfect...close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Quiet neighborhood. This little house was perfect for our small family of 3.

I have been coming to Topsail for over 25 years and I am so excited to finally call it home. I love the dog-friendly beach that is not too crowded, the friendly locals, and the wonderful weather!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This cottage is located between two beach access points taking only 2 minutes to get your feet in the sand. It is also on the ground floor with only a step to the walkway and a step into the home, making it relatively accessible and no need for stairs!
You will have your own washer/dryer in a common area shared with "Island Time" my other home on the property. If your traveling with another family don't hesitate to ask about renting both homes.
You'll also have 2 designated parking spots, 1 under the house and 1 in front.
Surf City is a pet friendly beach year-round and the Hideout is a pet friendly home! Please be sure to click the box "PETS" when booking. There is a $100 pet fee. The cleaning and linen fee are pass through charges.
