Communication was excellent. The location was perfect. For anyone attending the Christmas boat parade, we walked to ninth Street and had the best seats. This location is close to Balboa pier, Balboa Island ferry, and excellent walkways. After seven days, we felt like we had walked at least 75% of Balboa Peninsula. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked.

Great location close to the beach. The house was immaculate and comfortable. It was perfect for what I needed while there. The only advice I have is to give more detail about the size of the garage. I had read in a previous review that it was tight, so I rented a compact vehicle. I only had about a foot on either side of my car making it hard to get in and out of it.

Comfy and Convenient

We had a great time walking to beach, taking ferry to Balboa Island and meeting with our family in San Diego and Los Angeles.

Great location

we had a wonderful stay in this 1 bedroom beach home. Communication was perfect with owner and there were no issues with the home. Great location to be able to walk to many great restaurants and shops. Having a garage to park our car in was a bonus. Highly recommend this home if staying in Newport.

Perfect Stay

Everything was great! Perfect location and very walkable between beaches, bay and restaurants. Easy drive to other OC locations. Garage was tight but loved having it rather than finding street parking.

Excellent stay

We spent the New year at this location and everything was great. The property was as described and the location was peaceful and nice. We had one issue during our stay and the host was very attentive and had it corrected within hours of us reaching out. Will stay here again.

Great location. House was not as clean as we hoped, baseboards, blinds and windowsills need to be cleaned as well as the carpet in bedroom which is full of stains.

Urine smell

Upon arriving and opening the door, I could smell the strong scent of animal urine. In fact, I'm pretty sure a dog or cat urinated on the couch facing the front of the house. The area rug is filthy and the bedroom carpet needs to be replaced, spots all over, I'm guessing animal urine. I am sanitizing everything I brought with me for my stay, including my dogs items. The unit is in need of paint and updating. The kitchen and bathroom were fine and stocked with needed items. Would not stay there again.

Charming House

This is the third year we rented this 1st floor house. We love the place so much! The house is clean, comfortable and the furnishings are perfect. The location is great as everything is close by for either walking or biking. The neighborhood is charming and quiet. The host responds quickly to our bookings and is so nice! Hoping to be back again next year as this is how much we love this location!

Back again and always top notch

Perfect location between beach and bay. Once the car is in the garage, it never leaves. Not sure the two of us would stay anywhere else in the area. As all beach homes go, its a constant battle with sand and sea, but we've always found it well kept and updated. Loved the new BBQ. We'll be back soon.

Beach get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Newport Beach. This rental was so centrally located to just about everywhere we wanted to go- the beach, the bay, restaurants, etc that we hardly had to drive anywhere! It was the perfect size for the two of us and our dogs! Very clean and great neighborhood!
