Confortable et calme décrit cet adorable chalet! Un pâté de maisons de la plage et un pâté de maisons du marais rend cet endroit idéal pour les amoureux de la nature. Pratique pour la Route 1 et non loin d'Old Orchard Beach, vous choisissez le niveau d'activité de la journée. Deux chambres, une avec lits jumeaux et une avec un lit complet, font de ce chalet parfait pour une famille voyageant avec des enfants ou des parents / grands-parents. La cuisine / salle à manger / salon ouvert rend la préparation des repas / repas / détente propice à la conversation tout en même temps! Des clôtures et des plantations privées tout autour du chalet et de la cour créent une oasis de calme et de tranquillité que l'on ne trouve généralement pas dans ce domaine. This sparkling beach cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Pine Point. 2 minute walk to the beach and a short ride to Portland ME and Old Orchard. Restaurants all nearby.

Beautiful Week

It was an amazing little place to spend a few days and see some places around the area. Perfect for 2 people, we enjoyed watching the birds at the bird feeder. The cottage was cozy and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again

Perfect location

Maine visit

A lovely place to stay

We had a great week here. The cottage had board games, card games, camp chairs, and a fully stocked kitchen, including Keurig and drip coffeemakers! We had everything we needed for our small family of three.

5 days in paradise

Everything went great: the house was beautiful, well furnished and equiped like a « home » with dishes, pots and pans, towels, you name it!!! WE WANT TO GO BACK!!! Thanks to the owners who take very good care of this place.

Perfectly peaceful retreat

Rose Wind Cottage comes with its own tiny bird sanctuary outside the living area window. Just a short 3 block walk to beach access. Karen keyed me in to sand dollars in the morning. All the necessary amenities were at hand.

Excellent little cottage near the Ocean

We stayed 2 weeks...everything you need is there including chairs to take to the beach which is only a block away....also there is a trolley service ($1 for Srs & Vets) that takes you to Old Orchard Beach every hour. The drivers are worth the ride.....If you can't find a place to Eat, Drink, Dance, Listen to Music, Hike, Canoe etc......you didn't look out the door.......

Cozy cottage in the most perfect location

Rosewind cottage was the perfect stay for our annual anniversary trip. It’s less than a minute walk to the beach and pine point is just a beautiful neighborhood easily accessible from Portland and Old Orchard Beach but just far enough out of the bustle to be a bit on the quieter side, at least when we were there in October. The cottage had all the necessities and we appreciated the little touches like the throw blankets, games and puzzles. And the towels were so soft! We walked the beach every day and we’re so glad we went out at low tide on a particularly gloomy day and found 20 sand dollars!

Lovely Bungalo very close to Beautiful Pine Point Beach

Karen is a top notch host. Towels provided were better than the ones I brought from home!! Cottage is spotless and has everything you might need. Only suggestion I have is bring some various size plastic containers or bags in case you have leftovers, salt & pepper. Location is close to Ken's for fabulous fried haddock and Lobster pound within 2 blocks. BEACH IS everything!!

Hôte : Karen and Stephen Seymour

Karen and Stephen Seymour had been married for 36 years and had lived in Maine for 25 years before Stephen's untimely passing from cancer in early 2026. Karen was a recreation supervisor for the City of Portland, Maine before retiring in 2022 and Stephen was a kindergarten teacher in Raymond, Maine for 23 years. Both Karen and Stephen had worked as naturalists at a number of nature centers on the east coast and mid-west; Stephen was an educator for Sea World of Ohio for six years. As a couple, Stephen and Karen loved playing all sorts of card games and board games and spending time with family and friends.

Karen and Stephen have always loved the ocean and spend more time walking on the beach in winter than in the summer! Pine Point is one of the best beaches they have ever walked, and the community is not over-commercialized.
